High school is a time of stress and anxiety. This not only includes school work and social life, but the school system plays as tremendous of a part in it as the student himself. People complain, “the school system does nothing to prepare students for tests, school work etc.” or “school is being forced upon us, why even go?”. These issues not only change the way students act, but the way they affect society.
My College and Career goals include graduating college and getting a job. I wish to attend the University of Alabama. I plan to major in occupational therapy or speech therapy. After I graduate with my bachelor's degree I wish to get my master's degree. After I finish my schooling I want to receive a job that allows me to provide for my family. I wish to receive this job in my degree's field. After receiving this job I wish to improve to reach a leadership role.
I didn’t have an end goal for my academic career until high school. High school was when I finally felt like was set out on my own, and when I began to use the basic knowledge I was taught to enhance myself, interact with people I never knew before, and follow the new rules. The world became considerably larger and so did my future. As my future became greater, my goals began to clear up and become more precise. I had the future career options of science or math to history or art. It took the four years to narrow down my paths to what I want and where I want to go.
As most of my peers, I have been asking myself a question, what do I want out of my life? This question bothers many people, and not only the college students who are trying to figure out the path that will lead them to the comfortable life. One might ask, what is that comfort that we all are striving for? Is it a state of mind or is it some unknown world that we are so eager to enter. It varies from person to person; there are several aspects, such the way were raised, making, of our lives that could influence a person and the future decisions that we’ll make.
Over the years, since freshman year i've always had my personal goals that id set every quarter and year. It is important to set goals for yourself so you can see how far you've came and how much you've done. I have many goals, especially as a Junior. But my main goals are to graduate, get into a good college, get my degree, get a good job, and have a family. Overall, just to be successful. You can't just set goals and expect them to come by themselves, you have to work for them and be determined and that is what i plan to do.
Goals, goals, goals they're what people think about and how they are going to achieve them in the future. My three goal in life are to get in the college of my choice, go skydiving and to get a well paying job. These three goals are important to me because they are what I am likely to achieve within the next ten years. As I grow and blossom into someone big, someone bigger than who I am today I don’t mean just physically but bigger intellectually, and more capable. These goals show me that if I want to achieve them, then I have to work hard to accomplish them.
Life is a continual learning process, which requires a strong method to develop better ways of apprenticeship. Personally, being able to obtain a higher education gives me an opportunity to be better in many ways. Everyone should have any personal goals in life in order to survive, prosper and succeed in every journey that life gives. As for me, being a University of Phoenix student, I hope to achieve all of my goals on which I have been trying to pursue and obtain through the years. They are goals that I believe I need to have to be a successful member of the society, and through attending the university I also hope to gain a more positive image of myself, build my personal growth, along with achieving
When I graduate for high school I want to go to East Carolina University to become a doctor, because the school is home plus it is one of the best schools that have a medical program, and I can work with babies and young people. I also want to have a small family and get married. I would like to have two kids, one a girl, one a boy or twins. I want to have a better life then what I grew up too plus giving them things that I didn't have. Also be a good role model to my younger brothers. To show them that anything is
Many people ask me what are my plans after high school? Luckily, I have come to the decision to be in the military and attend a postsecondary education and major in Nursing with the intention of becoming a Pediatrician or becoming an Architect.
My life has been an ongoing stuggle, but my hard work, determination, and enthusiasm for my education have enabled me to pursure my dreams. My academic plans are to major in pre-occupational therapy. After graduating and completing the prerequisite, I plan to obtain a license in Occupational Therapy by attending OT School. Success does not come from a pay check. For me, helping and assisting others acheive their goals is the purest form of success. I want to travel and eventually settle down in my hometown. My overall career goal is to give back to the community that shaped me into the person I am. I am a hardworking-dedicated student, who focuses on my work, yet I have always enjoyed being involved in extracirricular activities. As you can see from my application, I enjoy sports and clubs. In the following year, I plan to get deeper involved
My goals include finishing high school, then moving on to college. After completing college with a high GPA I plan to teach for two years and take master classes in order to receive my counseling degree and furthermore impact others’ lives around me. After completing these dreams I hope to settle down and begin a family of my own. I think that all of our decisions we make now will affect us in the future and that is another reason why I have to goal I do. I want to be a wonderful example to my children. I want them to see that education is valuable and if I can do it then they can to. I want them to succeed in every way possible and if I demonstrate determination now then it will transfer on to their lives and maybe you never know they will be the next Thomas Jefferson or Susan B. Anthony. My goal for higher education is tremendous. Not only will a higher education be an example to my children. It will allow me to continue learning throughout my whole life. This education experience is a blessing to anyone that can pursue it and will overall affect them their whole life. My passion for completing my education so I can pursue my dream job is uncountable. I want this more than anything and I will complete it with whatever I
I’ve just entered my senior year of high school. I know that this is a very important year. I have a lot of decisions to make and not much time to make them. These decisions will either make or break my life, and I want to make sure that I make them to the best of my ability because there is no turning back. I need to make sure I definitely want to attend college. The decision is totally up to me. There are many positives and negatives of attending college. Go over them, and then decide. I know myself better then anyone else, and I won’t let anyone else tell me what to do. I will make sure if I am going to attend college that I have something in mind that I will want to do, to succeed in. Choosing a major can be a
An obvious goal as a working adult returning to school is, of course, to earn a degree. My overall goal is no different than any other student, however, I also have several personal goals I hope to achieve while attending the University. Some of these goals are to acquire new skills and enhance my current business abilities, to apply what I learn in the classroom to forward my career, and to feel personal satisfaction of finishing something I started.
Everyone should have personal goals that evolve around anything that needs to be accomplished. I set goals on a daily basis. One goal that I seem to have not truly focused on has been my college education. Considering all things, I decided I needed to focus on my college education. The first thing I needed to accomplish was to enroll in an institution for higher learning. Now that my enrollment is complete, I am an official student at the University enrolled in the undergraduate program for business management. As a student at the university, I now have to set personal goals so that I will be successful in my endeavors. My personal goals are to gain personal growth and development and graduate from my undergraduate program in business
To some, four years seems like a long time, but for me the past four years have flown by. In these quick four years, so much has changed and yet so much is exactly the same. You still go to school with most of the same people. You walk into the same familiar building and say hello to most of the same teachers. During these four years I have lost some friends, but I have gained real ones, which is one of the most important things to me. My outlook on life has changed. I have become a more open and understanding person and I have learned many valuable life lessons. I have made many great memories and I have learned to appreciate everything I have because nothing is permanent. My journey through high school is like a plane ride. It takes off freshman year and I go on a long, and sometimes bumpy, journey to get to my final destination. Even though in many ways I am still the same person as the one that walked through those school doors as a freshman, I have also changed in order to try to become the best version of myself and get to my final destination.
