The answer lies deep within our subconscious minds.

THE ENNEAGRAM The Enneagram is an ancient Muslim tool describing nine types of personalities. A person may fall under any one of the nine points. This Enneagram is the figure on the right. It does not look like much but it has brought with it wisdom that even until today proves relevant.

The Wings Wings bring lift to animals so as they may fly. In the study of the Enneagram, the wings are the adjacent types to your core type. Each person has two wings but the balance between these two to the core type varies from person to person. The wings may be more potent than the core. They may be hidden or be proportioned. The wings exist to introduce a person’s “alternate self” or his “other side.” Wings may improve the core personality or contradict it completely. The whole idea of wings merely points out that personality fluctuate and explain how a person may does not act consistently.
The Arrows From the diagram shown before, we find arrowheads at the end of the line. In the Enneagram, there are arrows of integration and disintegration. Integration, as defined in a dictionary, is the idea of blending something into a whole while disintegration duly means the opposite.
Arrows like the wings affect the core personality type only that arrows are triggered with the person’s state of mind or stress level. When stressed, as strained or due to certain circumstances leaves the mind in tumultuous bearings, the person would exhibit the arrow of disintegration or the type which points to your core type. Here, a person acquires the sin of the arrow or the negative attributes of that type. This is why the arrow of disintegration is also referred to as the negative arrow. For the arrow of integration, a person is calm or relaxed in his present state
