Jamaladeen Obaid English 5 Personal letter Professor Chalisse September 23, 15
Seeking my goal
My passion and dreams is to become a general surgeon and take my experience that I will learn and take the education to my country. My country where I came from is well known for having a poor medical treatment. Yemen my country where success and passing a course is based on how much money you pay to your professor or teacher to pass a grade level, which explain why we have a very poor medical treatment that leads to a lot of death. Educational material such as books is very good source for education but unfortunately the teacher are not qualified to teach, because they didn’t get the education that required them to became a professional instructors. During the time I was in Yemen My family and I was concerned if I would attend my education in my home country with all the corruption of the education system if I don’t get a chance to get a better education outside my home country. One of my main reason to be a surgeon is the death of my people with poor medical treatment the pushes me toward my goal, and earn my medical degree, which I am in the middle of my journey to helping and honoring my country.
As I grow up in Yemen and attended middle school and few years of high school, I been asking my self , about how can I accomplish my dream while I’m in
Yemen, with this education corruption that has been happing for dedicated. Education in Yemen has been using the banking concept
In today’s society, a good quality education is an important and valuable necessity. As a college student at Lone Star College, my college experience has greatly influenced me in an enormous amount of ways. By attending college, I have not only had a chance to receive a quality education and degree, but also an opportunity to socialize and interact with various people from different cultures. In addition, the professors on campus have been extremely helpful towards teaching me to succeed in both inside and outside the class room. Furthermore, my college experience at Lone Star has greatly influenced and encouraged me to be successful and achieve my dream of becoming a doctor.
I will be visiting Raleigh in late August; a few potential matches may still be interested in correspondence.
Nowadays, education is one of the most important elements that help people to achieve the success. I have studied in Viet Nam, and I have failed in my studying. In Viet Nam, I used to think education was not essential to my life, and I did not plan anything about my academic plans. I failed in my university, and I worked in the local company in the downtown. Everything was fine, but I could not be promoted without a degree. I went to the United States of America to restart my studying. Therefore, I have planned my educational plans for next three years seriously, such as perfect my English skills, find a scholarship, and transfer to my dream university.
Moving my whole life to the United States was a special challenge to me. I had to be familiar with life style, environment, education system, culture, and tradition which are different from my country Iraq. Before I moved to the United States, I spent three years in a university in Iraq; however, these years in the university did not help me to get to the college level in the United States. It was like I needed to start from zero. I did not give up because I have a goal to be a doctor. Therefore, I took ESOL classes, passed Texas Admission Test, and now I am in my Junior year.
On May 27, 2011, I sat in the crowd of thousands of people waiting to see the cheer from the football field. No, this wasn’t a professional football game, or even a college game. This was the graduation and commissioning of 1000 men and women from the United States Naval Academy. As the covers of all the former midshipmen went into the air, and the crowd went wild, I stood in awe, speechless. Even as an 11 year old boy, I knew that I wanted to be that young man standing on the ten yard line, in an immaculate white uniform, jumping up and down and hugging his buddy next to him. As I read stories and biographies of men like Marcus Luttrell and Chris Kyle, some of the most courageous men in the world, I realized my calling in life. I was to be an officer in the United States Navy.

I, Moin Ahmed and my spouse Ismat Ara, continuing our married life since August 22, 2014. I have been working in a prestigious university, as a Lecture since April 8, 2012, and getting a lump sum salary. My organization already provided me No Objection Certificate which is attached with this application and there it is mentioned that, my institution will have no objection if I go abroad to reunite with my spouse, and I will get leave of absence and will be able to join in the same organization after coming back in my country. This NOC is giving me the opportunity to apply for this visa and accompany my wife in her hard times when she is struggling to cope up with a new culture and new environment.
I have no other option, but to write this humble request. I am going through challenging times, and respectfully ask for help. The reason behind this charitable request is the growing cost of healthcare expenses which includes a needed hernia surgery and owed dental bills.

As an experienced technical and entertainment-based writer, I have discovered I have a passion for communicating with and helping other people. I have discovered this desire through numerous projects involving writing, editing, and article development. I hope to bring this desire and experience to your development and project team at Cornucopia Gaming.
Thank you for submitting your work to be read by others. I know how challenging it is to allow someone to comment on a piece of writing you’ve worked hard on. I saw that you are looking for feedback on word choice and sentence structure. I will comment only on those two things, per your request. Your letter starts out by saying that you hope your sister-in-law’s family is happy and well-cared for. This is a great beginning, and shows that you are interested in their well-being. You also include an update on what is going on in your life, focusing on the positive aspects. Doing both of those things before you ask for a favor is not only a smart way to send a request for help, but it’s also considerate and thoughtful.
One of the most direction giving experiences this past semester was meeting Deogratias Niyizonkiza. He is known for his healthcare facility Village Health Works, located in his home country of Burundi. A non-profit organization, the facility treats all who come. As I spoke to him, his passion for helping and healing those without resources, resounded in me. He saw a need in his home country, and left an easier life in America to fix it. Speaking to him, cemented my goal and desire to enter medical school and work toward fixing health care disparities. In Nigeria, the health-care system is very poor. As a Nigerian, this issue troubles me. My goal one day would be to reduce the extreme health-care disparity found in my home country. Wealthy Nigerians fly to Western countries to be treated, while those who cannot afford to suffer from even simple illnesses. My mother 's childhood friend passed away just a month ago from an upper respiratory infection. Here in America, an upper respiratory infection will rarely cause death in a young person if properly treated. A person passing away from inadequate health resources is so commonplace in Nigeria, that when it occurs, it does not even cause outrage.
I did not plan to go back to college; I was just looking for a job that had good health insurance benefits. After landing a job in the College of Medicine Admissions Office, co-workers began telling me I should look at the Adult Interdisciplinary Program and finish my degree. After receiving an email from that department, I decided to attend an orientation meeting. The organizer introduced me to the Prior Learning Assessment (PLA), which awarded credit for life experience learning. I had managed employees, was running my own business, and was actively involved in public relations and social media management for a local charity event. I signed on knowing I would have an opportunity to fast track my degree by putting together a portfolio
Creating a personal brand entails many parts of my life. I am able to look at people who are personally close to me as well as professional connections. To develop my brand I broke everything down and it has really guided me in the right direction to find my passion.
A personal mission statement is a philosophy or creed that one plans to follow in daily life. It is usually designed with positivity, purpose, and with personal goals for every aspect of life such as career, finances, etc. It also focuses on personality traits that one would like to possess and the accomplishments that one wants to achieve, both short-term and long term. It also houses the individuality of the person writing it. Every person writing a personal mission statement is will produce a different statement. This is primarily because people value different things, characteristics and have different goals. The purpose of this paper is to explore my mission statement (Covey, 2013, pp.113).
