Personal Mission Statement
Born in 1998, I was put on this planet for one reason, make a difference in the world. Everyday my objective is to make the best of that day and put a smile on other people’s faces. That’s how i was grown up. This is my story in 3 faces.
Parkview Elementary School:
Elementary school is where it all started, it taught me not to sweat the small stuff. Nobody cared about what you wore or what you said. We would always have races between my friends to the fence and back to see who was the fastest that day. It was all about having fun. Nothing beat field day, the day everyone looked forward to all year. This is the time golf got introduced to me. My dad worked at a golf course throughout my elementary and middle school

The school to me was so intimidating coming from parkview. I had so much freedom. I wasn’t used to it, it took me weeks until i would actually know where my classes were and I could get there without getting lost. It did help that my mom was a secretary there. Anytime I forgot to get something signed I just had to run down to the office.. not too bad.
Columbia High School:
Its the best of times, it’s the worst of times. Mainly its the best, when I first walked into this high school I knew it would be some of the best times of my life. Its weird to think about how fast it went by. We have less than a year until we are all off to college. Knowing that, it makes me enjoy my senior year a lot more. The friends you have now will all be different once you’re out of this town, you may not even see some of those people ever again. So make senior year the best it can possibly be with the people you like the most, because in a year itll be completely different from what it’s like now.
These are only 3 faces of my life up until now, I still have many more to come. There will be a fourth face in about 4 years when i’m done with college and moving on into the real world. That is pretty scary to me, but nothing sounds better than getting out of Columbia where I have grown up my whole
I am Hayley Romero. I attend Anna L. Klein school. I am 13 years old, and have big dreams. I was born in North Bergen, New Jersey. I am Ecuadorian, and I am proud. I am the only child, but I have a dog named Snoopy. I believe that I am an excellent student for County Prep High School. It would be a great opportunity for me and it is something that I am very excited to be a part of. I am a very sterling student and work very hard in school. I care a lot about my grades and continuously find areas where I can improve. I feel that being a part of County Prep High School would be a great jump-start to my future. I love to learn and always strive to improve myself. I always take pride in my schoolwork and work hard.
During my four years of high school, I have felt an impending doom at having to answer one question. “What do you want to do?” This question brings stress to millions of high school seniors each year. When I began to answer this question I evaluated my skills, interest, and passions. My research was inconclusive. I’ve realized that picking a major is a huge stepping stone into my future. A decision that is best not to be rushed. Because of this inner turmoil I previously decided to enter college as undecided, but I have recently had a self-realization which has lead me to apply to Loyola as a Political- Science major and hopefully continue on to Loyola College of Law.
My senior year has gone by so unbelievably quickly. It had been only four years ago when I first stood in front of the school a mere freshman. Throughout the years I gained a new experience that either made me a more global citizen or better prepared as an academic student. This year has been no exception and I feel ready enough for what’s ahead.
The Perris High School District Statement states that they want to create high-quality learning opportunities for every student in an environment that is caring and safe. It also says that they want to care for the students and help them develop growth mindset from creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking. They want to help the students achieve their goals in life and pursue that dream they have of being whatever they want to be. They will have caring and happy teachers and staff to help the students achieve these goals that the students want to achieve.
I am impressed with the academic and athletic program Archbishop Mitty High School has to offer. When I shadowed at the school I felt the spirit and camaraderie amongst the students. The instructors were welcoming and some had me participate as if I were a part of the class. The campus is impressive and I noticed plans of expansion with the construction of the science building. Continuing to receive religious educational instruction will reconfirm my familial belief in the Supreme Being which is important in the making of an individual's spiritual and moral convictions. This is another aspect why I choose to study at AMHS. Opportunities to explore my interest is plentiful at AMHS through clubs, sports, and charitable organizations. It
I am interested in working as a second grade teacher at South Row Elementary School for many reasons. After reading the mission statement I strongly believe that my educational philosophy matches the districts vision for their students. The small student population, as well as, the different sections of faculty allows for strong teacher to student relationships and opportunities for collaboration amongst faculty members.
I am interested in working as a Third Grade Teacher at Fort Lewis Mesa Elementary, for Durango School District 9-R, because we share valuable goals such as providing innovative education and instilling the love of learning to encourage children to become life-long learners. I have experience with primary and intermediate grade levels and I would enjoy teaching in a third grade classroom. I would like to teach for Fort Lewis Mesa Elementary, because I would enjoy being part of a school which values community and student growth through closing the achievement gap.
Vance Matthews: I am from Marina, California where I attended Monte Vista Christian High School. It wasn’t until my sophomore year of high school that I decided to push myself so that I could get into a four year college. I shot-gunned my applications, applying to twenty two universities. When looking into Tufts, the passionate students and professors, and the varied programs the school offered, aligned with what I wanted in a school. Now, I can’t believe that I am a rising sophomore. My friends say I am an anomaly because my interests are extremely varied and I’m involved with so many activities. At Tufts, I’ve been mostly involved with the Institute for Global Leadership’s EPIIC program on Russia, and the ALLIES Civilian-Military organization.
I attended fifth grade at Northside Elementary School, but was very excited to get over to Martha Brown Middle School!! I remember, even though I was excited to be in the sixth grade, I was nervous! I remember on the first day of middle school, I was lost trying to get to classes. I could not remember my locker combination and had to ask for help from the very tall Mr. O’Dell. I just felt that nervous because I could not remember what seat to sit in and the classes seemed like they were going to be difficult.
The mission I decided to choose is schools. I picked City High School. In their mission statement and on their
I attended Mercy Catholic High school for my first two years of high school, but because I saw my mother struggling to pay for my tuition, I decided to attend a public school for my last two years. When I graduated I received the gold merit scholarship at Coppin State University. I decided to take advantage of the summer program that it offered called the Summer Academic Success Program, SASA. Through this program I began taking rigorous college courses immediately after high school graduation. I earned a 4.0 and 7 college credits during SASA.
I would like to briefly go over my high school situation, school accomplishments, and some of the qualities I feel that I have, to hopefully clarify and enhance my application. The high school that I have been to for the past three years is called Tuacahn High School for the Performing Arts. Because of its smaller size, there isn’t a large variety of classes similar to what you would find in an average public high school. This made it impossible for me to enroll in AP or IB classes. Also, the school only had a couple concurrent enrollment classes we could take without going to the local university. While the school lacked these types of certified classes, they still offered many good honors classes, and performing arts based classes in which
I am interested in working as a Paraprofessional within the Minot Public Schools system. I knew that I wanted to work in Education since I was young. I had the oppertunity to assist students and teachers during my Senior year of High School. I have worked primarily with students in 3rd and 4th grade classrooms. I worked in a 4th Grade general education classroom,a 3rd grade general music classroom, and a 4th grade general music classroom. I have also volunteered within a Special Education classroom. I completed my First Practicum when I went to college at Minnesota State University Moorhead. My family relocated to Minot. I have relocated to Minot recently and I am looking for work in
Dickenson County Public School’s mission statement is ‘to provide a safe, nurturing environment to educate and inspire students...’ To achieve this DCPS has a zero tolerance for bullying. On page 46 of the Parent/Student Handbook bullying states:
A lot have people have been nervous about their freshman year but eventually we all make friends and end off the year with a lot of great weird and sometimes depressing memories.
