Andelynn Meloche California I went to 6 flags for my 13 birthday I was so happy and excited. I went with my mom and my cousin Mikaela. When we first got there we stayed at this amazing hotel that had two bedrooms. One for my mom and one for me and my cousin to share. You could see the beach right out the bedroom window. When we first woke up we ordered some pancakes for breakfast. Than we got ready for the beach. It was so beautiful there we were all playing in the water. We would try to ride the waves with a knee board and it was so much fun. My mom said we can only stay for a little bit because she had a surprise for me.
In the summer of June 2014,I woke up at 4:30 Thursday morning and got ready, packed our suit cases in the trunk of my car. Then I woke up my 4 daughters and they got ready really quick. Funny how for school they drag to get up from their bed and get dressed. But that day they didn't even hesitate to get up because they knew we were on vacation. Me and my girls were really excited to take our first road trip to the beautiful beach of South Padre Island . Of course it is gonna be a long drive but we were excited because we will be sight seeing and singing along to the radio. My family lives about 35 minutes from the beach, in a little town not to far. So when we all got in the car ,I drove to a gas station to fill up my car with gas for our trip and to grab a strong cup of coffee with hazelnut creamers.
For the first ten years of my life, I had a very normal childhood. I went to a private catholic school in a small town called Westwego. We were about twenty five minutes south of New Orleans. During the summers, friends and family would come over to our house and we would all swim and boil seafood. The summer of 2005 was no different; I was looking forward to entering 5th grade. Fast forward to one week before school is about to start when Hurricane Katrina formed in the Atlantic Ocean. Hurricanes were no strangers to us as we have been through several throughout the years. However, a few days later the storm is upgraded to a Category 3 and is predicted to hit New Orleans dead on. My parents felt it was time for us to leave and we traveled
We parked our car and took the shuttle over to the park. When we got off the shuttle I still remember the sight of the park. When we got inside the first thing we did was take a picture, then we went and ate some lunch, and then it was off to ride rides. I had an extremely fun time with my brothers and parents while we were walking around experiencing all kinds of different rides. We were all having a really good time.
It was a cold autumn morning when I heard the news coming from my alarm clock radio. Two people had won the lottery winnings from yesterday's drawing. They get to split a great prize, both people got to take home over 3 million dollars. I have been playing the lottery for about ten years now, I have only won three or four thousand, hoping to hit it big. For eight years I have been cleaning and cooking in a half kitchen with dinette. The small apartment had that smell as if something had been wet and moldy. I have had to listen through paper thin walls of, shouting, fighting, and the occasional grunts from some dirty old man upstairs. The constant running trains echo inside the entire apartment building. The living room was just big enough for
Chelsea woke up with the most peculiar feeling on monday. She felt like she had had the most vivid dream last night—one of those really disturbing ones that you couldn't quite remember but you seemed glad it wasn't real when you woke up. Shrugging off the thought, she quickly got changed into her uniform and headed to the kitchen to grab a bite to eat before heading off to high school. It was the last week of term before the holidays, and she was looking forward to spending some time with friends over the break.
My best experience was meeting up with my cousins in Minneapolis. That was the best weekend I could ever ask for. Our moms surprised us by letting us leave school early and go to a hotel to meet up with each other. It was a girls weekend there were no boys aloud. Swimming, shopping, and going out to eat were the first few things on our bucket list that we made when we got there. Unloading the van was the first thing we did. Us younger girls Ellie, Abby, Madison, LeAnn, and me shared on room and the parents got the other room. One of the rooms had a hot tub and jets. The other room only had a normal shower. We went out to eat the first night we were there because we were all so happy to see each other and get to hang out. We went to Emacrumbies to eat supper, and I got a stuffed animal that now is my favorite stuffed animal.
I often feel trapped in my everyday life. It becomes boring and routine. So when I received the opportunity to go to Belize in 7th grade, I was thrilled. I could escape everyday life for a week, spend time with friends, face fears, maybe even feel free.
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t ropable about leaving my home, my friends, and my school. Ever since Mum left us, Dad’s heart bad been set on leaving. Dad’s new life moto: “We have to leave our memories in the past, move on, and start a new chapter in our lives.” Anything I said didn’t even come into consideration. I had just finished the most stressful year of my life, and was finally on the right track, but now the track is coming to a wobbly end.
I thought it was a costume party. When I showed up at my friend Steve?s house I had expected to see demons, ghouls, zombies, monsters, and Steve in his iPod costume he had been planning to wear, but I was very wrong. The moment that Steve opened the door I knew that I had made a mistake.
How I miss our old days it crazy how time can fly by so fast in front of our eyes. I wouldn’t be able to explain in much words how I feel, how much I miss you guys and how I wish to go back home.
I couldn't remember for the life of me what I was running from but I kept hearing whispers saying over and over again you can't run from us we are what you know you are your not what you think you are you cant keep running as I ran I felt the cold air sharp as razors i finally gave in to weakness I feel to my knees and coughed up blood I looked up to the sky as the rain poured down I couldn't move my legs felt as if they were lead I could just sit there my eye wide with fear and filled with fear and regret I eventually was able to pull my self up to my knees and turn to face the horrid thing chasing me, even though I was once one I feared them more than I should fear the demon hunters, it was an angle, something I once was I was shaking in my boots no weapons no nothing to protect my self...the only hope I had was to pray to the Egyptians god I would be safe, if I even believed in them at this moment in time, I was lost with in my self with in my own secrets of my mind, before I could finish my thought I felt myself fly across the cold, hard, wet concert as my head made contact with a loud THUNCK!
Being excited all day, I ran home as fast as I could wind in my braids my shoes were getting stained, people were looking at me like I was on fire. My mom didn’t want me to go but me and my dad thought it was time for me to have my first night out without my parents. I was so scared but so excited at the same time. I ripped off my ugly school uniform and hoped in the shower. My worrying mom yelled out all the ''don't leave the movies and don’t talk to strangers or boys ''rules. As I put random stuff in my bag I texted my friend to come pick me up. As we all three arrived at the movie we three teen girls gossiped and got snacks while we waited for the movie to start. The scary movie was good and now we were waiting for are ride back
So, I had this really weird and scarily realistic dream last night. I’ll try to remember as much as I can.
It was Mexico three years ago. My dad's job was celebrating in Mexico and our family ( which is my brother, mom, and Maria) could come with him. We went to this 5 star resort by the beach. IT WAS AMAZING! There were so many pools and the hotel room was so fancy! The aqua blue ocean was so warm, that it felt like there was a heater in the water. We went swimming multiple times and I think i saw a whale jumping from the water.
We had to stop at her house in Vegas for a good night sleep. We had taco bell for dinner. I ate the spicy bean dip, and a normal taco with lettuce. Me and my sister had to share a room, it had a huge tv. We watched, well, I watched Full House. When we got up in the morning we had McDonalds for breakfast. I was scared to eat in the car, cause I knew I would spill. When we got to California I was so excited.
