Hey, guys! I'm Nicole and I'm a communications major; I couldn't remember the book that I loved as a child.
I've spent the last two years as a business major mostly due to my father putting the fear of God into me by telling me that if I major in anything other than business that I would end up poor and permanently jobless. As a naive 17-year-old that had always done as told, I chose not to research his statements and opted to pick a major in the business field that I felt I could handle at a school that I was told had a good job placement rate. So, the two years that I spent studying marketing at Clarion were two years that I never thought much about humanities majors. In fact, I was so far gone into my little bubble that I refused to acknowledge
It all started from the end of my middle school to the beginning of high school. There I was, being a rebellious child. I would always come to school late which later then turned into a bad habit of mine. It progressed from being late to school to just not going to school at all. During those years where I was not taking my education serious and just acting out, I was struggling with how I was setting priorities for myself.
My College and Career goals include graduating college and getting a job. I wish to attend the University of Alabama. I plan to major in occupational therapy or speech therapy. After I graduate with my bachelor's degree I wish to get my master's degree. After I finish my schooling I want to receive a job that allows me to provide for my family. I wish to receive this job in my degree's field. After receiving this job I wish to improve to reach a leadership role.
Going into college, I would like to peruse many of my goals. I would like to start out getting my general studies in and then build up to become a Registered Nurse. After I accomplish becoming a Registered Nurse I would like to work on becoming a Nurse Practitioner. One reason I am striving to complete these goals is to be able to have a good future and hopefully a good job will come out of this. Neither of my parents went to college and I want to be able to accomplish that for myself.
During my two last years of high school, i've been in contact with a lot of colleges and universities. Many of which don’t get my attention. Throughout my whole high school years, there was only one college that i wanted to go to, Liberty University. I have heard so many wonderful things about Liberty and what i loved the most was that it was a christian school. Liberty had the number one thing that i am looking for in a college, that is a christian school, but many of my other things that i look for in a college where just not there. I used to live in Florida approximately 11 years ago and let me tell you, it's hard not to miss the sunshine state. Liberty is in Virginia, a state where it doesn't feel like home. When i received a brochure
Before I became interested in Spelman college, I knew the type of education that I wanted to receive. I wanted an education that would cater to my many endeavors. I wanted to learn wholly, passionately and creatively. During NSO, when Dr. Burnett spoke, I realized receiving a liberal arts education is more than learning it is an act of resilience, and an act of courage.
It was May 25, 2018 at 7:47 in a steaming hot gymnasium when the name Anthony Joseph Sansalone was getting called from the loud speaker, the sixth to last person to receive their diploma I begun shaking the hands of all the board members and everything that I had known from the last 13 years at the same school was over and a new chapter of my life was stating to begin. A few seconds after receiving my diploma the Class President guided us to changing of our tassels from right to left then commencement was over and I was walking out with my future roommate at BGSU, Vincent Zhang, we looked at each other knowing that our high school career was descending and our college careers were lifting off together. High school was tuff for me due to the fact that I have know what I wanted to do since I was a freshman, I want to become an animator and work for an Academy Award winning company such as
Although most people would continue post-secondary after high school, I plan on going to college, most likely Langara college, first after graduating. At first, I did want to go straight to UBC or SFU after high school, however, I started thinking of what I wanted to do. Then it occurred to me of how this is going to affect my entire life. From what I heard from others, people sometimes change their decisions based on what they want to do as a career. Not only does this take a lot of time on studying something else after changing their primary focus, but also costs a lot of money. Unfortunately, I know that I won’t have enough money to pay off the financial expenses just to study for the career I want for my future. I need to make sure that
I have accomplished lots of things in my lifetime. I have accomplished getting a job and getting my license to go to that job. I have accomplished working two jobs one is being a machinist and a referee.
Certainly by now, you know my name. However, I prefer to go by Mia. I have been a student at SBVC since fall of 2013. I know... it seems like a long time. The reason for that is I am a double major. In Spring of 2018 I will be graduating with my Associate's degrees in Business Administration and Accounting. I work extremely hard on my educational career goals. For example, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA and am an honor student. I currently work on-call for a local school district and enjoy every minute of it. I am also a creative writer, which I haven't had much time to do lately, but plan to get back to it as time allows. In fact, one of my newest ventures is marketing in the digital economy, so my creative writing will definitely get

I am currently double majoring in Broadcast Journalism and Public Relations & Advertising. I have an open availability for the weekend starting friday since DePaul does not hold classes on fridays. I was also wondering what this is regarding. Looking forward to hearing back from you soon.
On March 31, a variety of speakers from various media industries came to TCU to enlighten students on career possibilities after graduation. I listened to the keynote speaker in addition to the industry panel, where the panelists discussed their journeys within the media industry. As a result of this event, I feel that I have a much greater understanding of what it is like to work in the media, and I have heard crucial advice on how to be successful. While each speaker offered a diverse and unique approach to entering their current jobs, there is a common theme of diligence and dedication that must be adopted to succeed in the media industry. Nathan Brown, the keynote, offered stories of his time on the business side of media, while other
I’m nineteen years old and I am a sophmore in college. I am currently majoring in Public Relations with a minor in business and a minor in politics. My original major was pre-law, but I want a degree that can hold its own in the real world regardless of the career path I choose. I grew up in smyrna all my life, but I have traveled to many places around the world. I love traveling the world and learning about new cultures. I work at Lifepoint Church in Smyrna Tennessee. I am a part time assistant in the nextgen department. I help them with pretty much anything that is asked of me. A whole lot of my time is dedicated to writing curriculum for the students, kids, and preschool ministries. I use word, excel, powerpoint, Photoshop, Indesign, and
I have been trained to become a chemist since the first year of my high school. This is a challenging career, requiring analytical thinking, attention to details, and adaptability. It is also a well-paying and promising career. However, chemistry is not what I have always dreamt of doing the rest of my life. As someone who is concerned about the development of sub-Saharan Africa, I came to a conclusion that what this region needs is not only scientists but also people who know and understand leadership and international affairs. In this paper, I compare my strengths and abilities to the qualities that one should have in order to excel as a chemist and a diplomat.
