When it comes to making a budget plan, investments, paying bills, and saving money, I prefer to manage my own money instead of seeking someone for assistance. While it is true a financial advisor is skilled at providing advice for their clients, they can sometimes deceive you. I am not saying that all financial advisors are like that, but this may happen to some people. They might take your belongings behind your back. Though I am not an expert in financial activities, I am willing to learn how step by step.
The career I became interested in is a Physician’s Assistant, or a few people call them PAs. I became interested in this job in my sophomore year of high school. It all started when I attended the STEM fair after school one day. STEM fair is only offered to students who are in either the biomedical Stem academy or the engineer academy. At this fair, students tour around to different classrooms to acquire information on different careers. I attended the Physician’s Assistant one, where there was an actual PA to give information on what PAs achieve. For example, PAs examine patients for diseases, injuries and illnesses.
In the article, Advisors Involved in Financial Planning, authors Mendlowitz and Kess talks about how financial advisors are people oriented and want what is best for their clients. The authors prove that the difficulty of the financial advising processes is typically overlooked by others by stating, “The different kinds of financial advisors and their role in the overall financial planning process is difficult” (Pg.66). Many might think that financial advisors have an easy job, but there is more to it than telling people to save small amounts of money here and there. Advisors must go through several specific steps to figure out the exact amounts their clients must save. The author of this article talks about situations that a financial advisor might go through as well as how the advisor should
Choosing my career was not an easy choice but becoming a Medical Assistant would be my “foot in the door” to becoming a nurse. I started Alaska Career College in fall 2014 to become a Phlebotomist. I thought that with my experience as a medical receptionist, I can further my career as a medical assistant rather than a phlebotomist. I love to draw blood but because of my personality, I thought that maybe it would be more beneficial to become a medical assistant instead. As a young Hmong child, I loved helping people especially the older folks who did not speak English well. It is my goal to help others who are in need of help and because of that, I chose to become a Medical Assistant. I do hope that one day
I interviewed a dental assistant by the name of Cheandrea Sanders the 19th of December and got plenty of information I could use in my career along the line. Her job is the same exact job I plan to do once I finish at Lawson. Working with kids has been something I’ve wanted to do since I was younger. One thing I may not like in this occupation is bad breath or a kid biting me, but seeing kids happy and smiling is something I live for on a day to day basis. Three ways the interview influenced me was to get a step ahead and look around for dental offices now, dental assistants will always be needed, and to never give up even when life throws a curve ball.
During the course of my college years, I have considered alternate career options. I have contemplated becoming a physician’s assistant, a dentist, or a podiatrist. Physician’s assistants and doctors play similar roles in clinics; I would still be able to see patients and enjoy the interpersonal aspect of delivering healthcare. Additionally, I would still be able to play an important role in primary care and do my utmost for the sake of my patients, which is hugely appealing.
I have had many jobs that could be labeled as both an occupation and a profession. Profession is defined as a job with prolonged training that allows continuous use of cognitive knowledge, there after bringing significant service to the overall community. The profession I chose was a financial aid counselor, because I was employed in that capacity for 10 years. I have always seen it as a profession, but after reviewing the definition of profession I am unsure. We will review the duties of a financial aid counselor, the different components of profession and how it impacts it, and the role it plays in the hierarchy of needs in order to understand was this a profession or just an occupation.
It has been an honor for me to participate in the event. Those 3 days have definitely been one of the best experiences I've had. It was amazing to be with such rounded scholars. Going into the camp, I was unsure what I wanted to do, but after listening to the different career paths at Goldman, I realized that GIR would be a be a division that I would like to do more research on. The Goldman Employees are some of the nicest people and smartest individuals I have met. I look forward to hopefully obtaining an internship in the summer and be around such great people. Goldman Sachs made me feel like family and it is a company where my career can grow. This summer I will be working for a landscaping company. Towards the end of July I will be traveling
Today was tedious. I was assigned two patients to do a chart review of. I did not write down some key diagnosis because I thought it was not important. The most difficult part of this task for me was figuring out which information is important for the evaluation. We went to see our patients for the day. The highlight of my day was seeing a patient who already knew what occupational therapist does. She was the first patient who knew what occupational therapist does, and she gave a short and straight to the point definition. I was truly impressed. I wrote four evaluations today and I forgot some information that I could not remember or put into words. Goal writing is easier in this setting as oppose to in class. All of the goals were occupation

Planning for your retirement is something you should begin doing at an early age, and it should be a part of your personal finances. A financial advisor can assist you in many ways with your retirement plans. The following are only three ways they can do this.
Back in 2006 my family and I were in a real bad accident which lead us into a financial/mental struggle. Both my of my parents got their settlement, but at the time it still couldn’t get us to where we were at before the accident. Months later, my sister, being that she broke her jaw and had a blood clot came into the most money. Because my sister was still a minor my mother made the decision with a financial advisor for my sister to get a decent amount every few years. With that being said, my sister received a good amount when she turned 18 and gave my mother close to $20,000 with that money my parents were able to get back on their feet. With the left over money they fixed up our house. The day she turned 18 she met with her financial advisor and they discussed what they were going to do with that money. Long story short my sister will have over half a million by the
Rather than asking the question "What can a financial advisor do for me?", it is probably better to start with looking for an answer to the question "Am I making efficient and effective use of my finances?"
I have been trained to become a chemist since the first year of my high school. This is a challenging career, requiring analytical thinking, attention to details, and adaptability. It is also a well-paying and promising career. However, chemistry is not what I have always dreamt of doing the rest of my life. As someone who is concerned about the development of sub-Saharan Africa, I came to a conclusion that what this region needs is not only scientists but also people who know and understand leadership and international affairs. In this paper, I compare my strengths and abilities to the qualities that one should have in order to excel as a chemist and a diplomat.

Advisors have to make sure they do what is the best interest for the client because it is their money at risk. This article has evidence that can
