While being a student at New Prague High School, I have been on the A Honor Roll for all semesters and trimesters (we were on a trimester system my freshman year). I have also been granted the Academic All-Star Award two times throughout my academic history. In addition to being recognized as a student, I have received numerous awards as an athlete as well. My summer going into my junior year, I earned the Sportsmanship Player Award in a summer softball tournament; recognizing me for my positive attitude, composure, and team leadership. That following spring in my junior softball season, I was awarded All Conference Honorable Mention for the first time. As a senior it is a goal of mine to regain these awards as well as exceed
Going into college, I would like to peruse many of my goals. I would like to start out getting my general studies in and then build up to become a Registered Nurse. After I accomplish becoming a Registered Nurse I would like to work on becoming a Nurse Practitioner. One reason I am striving to complete these goals is to be able to have a good future and hopefully a good job will come out of this. Neither of my parents went to college and I want to be able to accomplish that for myself.
My College and Career goals include graduating college and getting a job. I wish to attend the University of Alabama. I plan to major in occupational therapy or speech therapy. After I graduate with my bachelor's degree I wish to get my master's degree. After I finish my schooling I want to receive a job that allows me to provide for my family. I wish to receive this job in my degree's field. After receiving this job I wish to improve to reach a leadership role.
I believe everyone has established goals during their life. They might not write them down or even have a plan of how they will be successful, but the ultimately outcome is based on the individual and their persistent to accomplish it. One goal that I have dedicated and work so long for seems to be coming to a close, but it is a step forward in achieving my ultimate goals. Through planning and being focus anything is possible. Goals that I have established after my post-graduation consist of areas in my personal, academic and professional life. My personal goal is to continue to make every day count and see it as an opportunity for growth. For my academic goal is to obtain my Licensed in Clinical Social Work. The professional goal is not to be passive, but instead begin
It was May 25, 2018 at 7:47 in a steaming hot gymnasium when the name Anthony Joseph Sansalone was getting called from the loud speaker, the sixth to last person to receive their diploma I begun shaking the hands of all the board members and everything that I had known from the last 13 years at the same school was over and a new chapter of my life was stating to begin. A few seconds after receiving my diploma the Class President guided us to changing of our tassels from right to left then commencement was over and I was walking out with my future roommate at BGSU, Vincent Zhang, we looked at each other knowing that our high school career was descending and our college careers were lifting off together. High school was tuff for me due to the fact that I have know what I wanted to do since I was a freshman, I want to become an animator and work for an Academy Award winning company such as
As a junior in Early College I would more or less consider this my second year, as I have been taking college classes for three years now. However, I can still identify an issue I am facing with my courses. As I am trying to graduate a five year program in only four years, I have taken on a lot of responsibility as a 16 year old. I am currently taking 6 courses this semester, and I will have to take five courses every other semester to graduate on time. As I thought this would be a busy course load for me, I ended up quitting my job because they could not comply with the hours I requested due to school. I completely regret this, as I now have to work at a job that I am not making much money at and I have even had to take on some side jobs just to be able to pay my insurance on time. Sometimes, people make decisions that they think will better them and make life easier, but they make these decisions without careful consideration and at least trying the circumstance before changing everything.
The progression of my education goals are as follows: My short term educational goal is to accepted as a nursing student here at York Technical College. My next goal will be to graduate from the nursing program as a Registered Nurse.
I wrote this inspirational and persuasive book to stimulate all college bound student’s career decisions. A stimulated choice means that your college aspiration is prayerfully pumped-up with two of God’s counsels: spiritual enrichment and spiritual empowerment. These two activators serve to remind new college students to put God as their first priority.
Although most people would continue post-secondary after high school, I plan on going to college, most likely Langara college, first after graduating. At first, I did want to go straight to UBC or SFU after high school, however, I started thinking of what I wanted to do. Then it occurred to me of how this is going to affect my entire life. From what I heard from others, people sometimes change their decisions based on what they want to do as a career. Not only does this take a lot of time on studying something else after changing their primary focus, but also costs a lot of money. Unfortunately, I know that I won’t have enough money to pay off the financial expenses just to study for the career I want for my future. I need to make sure that
One of my educational goals consists of graduating the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) in Santa Fe, New Mexico with a BA in Indigenous Liberal Studies as well as, a certificate in Business and Entrepreneurship. Since I joined the IAIA community two years ago, I had expanded my knowledge aspects and had the chance to meet various people from various Native communities from the United States, Mexico, Canada, to Alaska and Hawaii. IAIA is one school that projects a unique atmosphere with various cultural perspectives. While attending the Institute of American Indian Arts, I have discovered I am passionate in the fields of cultural and language revitalization, the history of the various Native American communities and nations, and tribal
College was always that one thing that seemed so far away to me. My whole life I remember people talking about it and all I could think about was how it seemed so for away; that I couldn’t possibly make it that far. But lo and behold, here I am; a freshman in college. Starting college of course comes with many fears; “What if I miss a class? What if I forget to do my homework? What if I get too homesick? Am I even ready for this?”. But out of all of those minor concerns, only one really makes me worried: What if I fail at my dream? I have always wanted to be an artist. I doodled everyday, taught myself the skills and even experimented with different methods and media. So it only seemed fitting that I become an artist (An animator to be more
In high school I always believed that I was capable of achieving more in life. Although I initially felt that I had a strong work ethic, the college admissions process soon showed me that I had a lot of growing and maturing to do in order to be successful. Thus, under the Blinn Team program I was able to realize my true academic potential, and began to work towards gaining full admissions with a degree in Nutrition,
After graduating High School in 1975, I married and moved to Mississippi. There used my skills from gymnastics and assisted teaching for three months. Assisted with teaching children from the ages of six to ten years old.
Until third grade, I was homeschooled. Kindergarten through second grade, I worked in workbooks at my own pace. From third grade to sixth grade, I didn’t hate math, but I wasn’t a fan of it either. I had the same teacher for both 7th and 8th grade math, and that is when I started disliking it. I have always been good at math once I figure it out, but I don’t overly enjoy doing it. Ninth through eleventh grade I had a one hundred or higher (extra credit) in math because I was in regular on-level classes. Tenth grade year was my favorite though. The teacher was really kind and would take the time to explain if I didn’t understand. Twelfth grade, though, made me hate math. The teacher did not like me and told me I needed tutoring because I “obviously”
In the beginning of my college academic career I thought I had it figured out. Like most naive young adults, I soon came to the realize that I didn’t. My first year of college I decided to go away to upstate New York and study at a vocational school to be veterinary technician. I had always loved animals, and I thought that this was the career for me. I slowly came to realize that it wasn't. For some reason the career was not fulfilling, and I quickly lost interest. I struggled a lot balancing a rigorous course load my first year of college, and on top of that I was far away from any support from my family. After my first year had ended, I felt lost and had no idea what to do next. I knew that I wanted to study something in the health or sciences,
I have been trained to become a chemist since the first year of my high school. This is a challenging career, requiring analytical thinking, attention to details, and adaptability. It is also a well-paying and promising career. However, chemistry is not what I have always dreamt of doing the rest of my life. As someone who is concerned about the development of sub-Saharan Africa, I came to a conclusion that what this region needs is not only scientists but also people who know and understand leadership and international affairs. In this paper, I compare my strengths and abilities to the qualities that one should have in order to excel as a chemist and a diplomat.
