My mom and I were walking through Walmart and we had directed ourselves towards the produce section. As my mom counted one by one the tomatoes that she was placing in the plastic bag, I wondered off. All that I could think of as I walked was how money was tight, but somehow we still need to buy groceries. As I entered the frozen aisle I noticed a woman in front of me with her cart. As she was exiting the aisle she got a call and while looking for her phone in her purse, she accidentally dropped some folded dollar bills. I continued walking towards the end that had the money and as I got closer my eyes would dart around looking for any witnesses. Before I knew it my toes were an inch away from the money. Getting a closer look to the money I
When I was working at Target there were two mangers that I was to train and help if they needed it. The conflict was that they come in and changed everything in our stations. Which was uncomfortable due to that I had more experience and was working there longer. Nothing work well within the ream after that point.
The Mall of America is known as one of Minnesota’s most famous landmarks. Did you know that about half a billion people have visited it since the day it opened? Today I will be telling talking about MOA which happens to be one of my favorite places.
Have you ever tried something new? Well I did one day at Kroger a few years ago. It felt funny, because no one else in my family but my dad would eat the food, and it was also a really weird food.
When I found out my aunt had breast cancer I was devastated because I thought of all of the things we used to do before she died. I remember when I was younger she would take care of me and my brother since my parents would be working or my mom would be at school. When me and my brother was younger she would drag my brother in the wagon and carry me in the wagon since I was smaller then my brother we would go up town and run erands with her we would go to the Piggly Wiggly so she can get groceries, To the drug store so she could get her medicine and the people that worked their would give us some candy everytime we went and we would go to Bonnies when it was open and get a cheese burger. When she would cook she would let me and my brother
I’m Fred James and my carpenter shop hasn't been selling as frequently as we used to when business was booming. My businesses peak was way back when the neighborhood was filled to the rim with people before the rush the Oregon trail took them away. Just today I told Claira, my wife of twenty years that we must move west to Oregon before money becomes an issue. Of course Claira wasn't thrilled and neither were my kids. Milly and Matthew are hysterical about not wanting to leave all their friends. Sadly they'll have to make new ones at our new home.
I came into your store today at around 5:30 pm. I had purchased a t.v from the electronics department, for $800.00. When I got home I noticed as soon as I took it out of the box, the base of the t.v was scratched. It wasn’t scratched badly enough for me to want to take it back, until I plugged it in and the screen was broken. I immediately called Walmart and the manager of the electronics department, and he told me it was nothing he was able to do. I couldn’t get my money back or even a new t.v to replace it. I wanted to contact you personally to see if there was anything we can set up seeing how I bought a $800.00 t.v from your store that was broke. Thanks for your time.
I can see the punch coming, it lumbers closer and closer to me just like a basketball when it is passed to you. Only I had to dodge this punch, which was still coming. The punch itself had several unique aspects, except for its slowness, - it was coming from my best friend-David- and he was ‘trying’ to get us on the same page. Looking back, it was the punch itself which lead to so many things changing between us; however, in the present moment it spurred my other best friend to try to come between the punch and me. Maybe he was making fun because he moved as slowly as he possibly could and the punch was still coming my way. Whereas Paulina sitting on the other side didn’t even bother looking at the commotion going in this side of the room. This made me wonder how did it

When I was seven years old I used to live in Minneapolis, Minnesota, I attended Harvest Prep Middle School. A lot of my friends talk about what I thought was a dream, The Mall of America. It was the biggest Mall in the USA. I begged my mom can we go, but it was always the same answer NO! Javaughn, We don’t have the money for that rite now! I was devastated, all my friends came to school talking about all the excitement that was there.
It was an average weeknight, my brothers and I goofing around, my mom sewing, and my dad was out getting groceries. All of a sudden my dog Rascal started spazzing on the ground and breathing really heavy. It was very confusing at first because he was fine and then he wasn’t. We put a blanket under him and relaxed with him. When my dad came home he said stuff in my private with my mom and they came back in and said it was time for bed. So we all went to bed hoping he was going to be okay.
At the young age of __, I would watch my my mom leave and then come home glistening, talking about everything she had learned at Michaels craft store. I decided that I wanted to participate as well and begged my mother to allow me to accompany her. When I first got there I did not know what to expect. Our instructor was teaching us the wonders of fondant and how to maneuver it into different forms. I was so intrigued, how could something so plain and boring be transformed into such beautiful petals, roses, trucks and more. My small hands could not do the same things as my mother. I would see my mother do everything with little to no effort as I practically killed every rose the instructor asked me to make. My hands were not delicate nor kind to the fondant, but instead I would accidentally ruin every petal I attempted making.
Have you ever tried to avoid someone while in a store? Thousands of people go shopping everyday. On any given day, at least one person will be stalked at a store that they frequent. I will never forget the day that in Walmart when I tried to avoid a creepy lady who then took my picture, while I tried to get away to find my mom.
It was an awkward day at Wal-mart. I was tripping all over the place. It felt as if I was blind. I thought it was going to be a normal day at Wal-mart. We parked our car and headed inside. It was pitch black. The only lights you could see were from the self check-out boards and they were hardly bright at all. My mom said we should go and come back another day, but my dad said we needed groceries badly. I thought we could use our phones, but we left them at the house. We hardly brought our phones with us anymore. So, it was going to be a weird grocery shopping day. Once we walked in we started our usual route and I bumped into a couple of people. I kept hearing people saying “ouch”. I bumped into the aisles hit my head a couple of times. My
As I was walking in the hallway I knew something was going down as I saw Coal in the reflection of a picture,Coal was following me and then in a flash my bag gone and all of my stuff then I looked 1 hallway down I found my bag but my homework was gone and then I knew I was getting into trouble....
Life has pushed her put of her comfort zone. After graduating high school, she moved to another state completely alone. There was a time to become self-reliance, to become independent. This is an example of recentering( Professor T. Rondinone, personal communication, April, 2017). Grace found full time job at the post office as a dispatcher. “For the first time I felt wanted. People started acknowledging me. I realized that I can be good at something.” However, the job was making her feel good about herself, she still wanted something more. She was craving for close intimate relation with that special man, who can love her and in return she can love him. She had such a strong need for meaningful, profound bounding with that romantic partner,
