This will be my last post in not only All Sports but in any sports forum. I told Sohil Majdi a week ago that I am no longer going to comment regardless if the Patriots won or lost. The text is saved for anyone who needs to see it. I would like to congratulate all the Eagles fans in here on their Super Bowl win. The Eagles are a great team and deserved to win the game. I think we will see a rematch next season. Tom Brady was unbelievable in the playoffs like I said that he would be even after a few bad games. I know Eddie Babaian and Ali Ghezavat wrote him off after a few bad games and I said bs. He definitely came through for the Patriots, but unfortunately, the defense was historically bad. This forum is notorious for crushing the Lakers
It's been an absolute pleasure to be part of such a wonderful group of ladies and I want to thank all of you for entrusting me with the Captaincy of the Niners. On the green and off the green, the camaraderie of the group is like no other.
Is there really much to say about the Patriots offense? They are the leaders in offensive yards and the second highest scoring offense of the year (ESPN). They are led by the transcendent quarterback Tom Brady and exemplary offensive mind Bill Belichick. On the other side, the Eagles are led by Nick Foles and Doug Pederson. The Eagles are third in passing yards, fourth in rushing yards, and fourth in points in the postseason (ESPN).
Congratulations I.J.! On receiving the first ever Richmond Flying Squirrels Spirit Award. I wish I could have been there in person to see you get this award. After seeing all of the former and current Squirrels players talking about how much you mean to them makes realizes how lucky I am to have you as my brother. Congratulations again and see you
Hey my name is Timothy Wimbley I'm here to speak about my nephew Mark Wimbley. I have not played in the NFL. for two minutes , let alone 18 years, I do not have past seasons to remember about or hilarious locker room stories to joke about. But I do have one thing, and that is love.Your Mark Wimbley , your Number 50, And your friend, is also my nephew. And although I didn’t know every aspect of his life, I did know one particular part very well. His athleticism and talent made him extraordinary enough to make it into the Hall, but it is his passion and heart that made him legendary. Today I would like to honor him and his legendary heart. The two words that fit best to describe my nephew the most are “passion” and “love.” Everything he achieved,
It was a peaceful morning in Trenton, New Jersey when I was introduced to the world as Mary Ludwig on October 13, 1754, also known as Molly Pitcher and Sergeant Molly.
I belivie that in the past and even today men are seen as the stronger sex. They are the ones who make the destions and control most things. This fact makes me want to work more harder and stronger to be able to take care of my self. I see my self as being able to be independent and deserve to be happy. And I want everyone to to feel and see themselves this way. I'm also fully aware that I'm not quite ready to be completely independent. My age has a lot to do with that. Most people wouldn't rent out an apartment at 17 years old. But as I continue to grow and change I will become more mature and capable of reaching that leaves of independence.
Henry had a lot of courage going into the first battle. He didn't truly know what war was like so that might be why he wasn't scared. The first battle was not very brutal and Henry stayed calm. His friends were calm as well and Henry didn't want to seem like a coward if he ran away. Henry got some respect for staying during the first battle. There was a different story however for the second battle.
Moving to the United States is a huge step for an immigrant. As an international student, I have been passing through this event that most Brazilian desire to. However, it is hard to adapt with the new culture and lifestyle, knowing that I have my own values. The “Two Ways to Belong in America” illustrates two views of getting used with this new culture, in which I identified myself with one of these ways: my nationality cannot be change with a simple paper called green card. Thus, starting a new life in a foreign country is tough because I have to find a way to readjust to this new culture, not ignoring
As someone who was raised on stories about American revolutionaries, I have always admired the “Great American Heroes.” After all, my history classes were filled with passages about George Washington, who dared to defy the great British Empire, Susan B. Anthony, who dared to fight the patriarchy, and Martin Luther King Jr, who dared to resist segregation…
Being that i am getting older in age my declaration to you is that i get more freedom and to liberate. I'm writing this because i find it unfair that my brother had more freedom than me at the age of 16. I believe that with the same amount of freedom gave in to my brother and sister i will be more social and a more pleasant person to have around. I will gain more of a personality.
America is a nation built on the backs of the weak. People from all forms of faith, belief, and nationalities came together, from persecuted, backgrounds to build the nation we exist in. My family was one such group of people. Irish immigrants, we moved from the homeland to the New World to be rid of a famine that was starving our people. In America we found new opportunities, but also much opposition. Racial classification and prejudice ruled in the mid to late 60s and beyond. This was during the time that Mr. Bernie Sanders began his rise to power. With a platform of protecting the weak, and building the middle class. This man is poised to revolutionize America. In the face of adversity, he stands firm and strong.
My uncle, Gary Norder, is my American Hero because of his devotion toward me, and my family, The times he spends with me, and the effort he puts toward to support his family and mine amazes me. My uncle and his brothers started a company called Custom Caulking. The Norder brothers say it's been hard for them, but they still manage to sustain a wealthy business.
Thank you, thank you all very much. Thank you. That’s the happiest I have ever seen Charles Woodson since he won the Heisman Trophy back in ’97.
Studying in a foreign country is an interesting experience of an individual lifetime. One tends to learn a number of things relating to ways of life in a foreign land. Social, political and economic values and aspects are usually different from one region to another. Therefore, through studying abroad one is able to learn different issues about another society such as gender and sexuality issues, social class and race/ethnicity issues. Having come from a developing country studying in the U.S.A has been a great experience personally. This paper will attempt to provide a reflection of my personal experience on studying in the U.S by comparing the history of Angola and the U.S.
It was that time of the year when school was finally over and it was summer! I remember being super excited for the summer and having total freedom because I just had got my license. I got my license and my first car so I was excited to do many things during the summer. A couple weeks into the summer, my friends and I hung out a lot because I had my own car. More into the summer, near the end of July and the start of August, my friends and I were out one night and it was about 2 in the morning, I wasn’t supposed to be driving after 9 but I did anyway. We were on our way to McDonald’s and I’m trying to get there as soon as possible to get home and not get caught. As I’m driving to McDonald’s I see the speed limit which was 30 mph and I was
