How do I handle this? Do I need to contact the Sheriff’s office directly and do they accept credit card payment, or cash or check only? If Maria goes to pay, what paperwork does she need? I was present at the trial through Richard’s cell phone. Please thank him. He did an excellent job of representing me. The Sheriff needs to be aware that there are two other people living in the house: a very tattooed guy and his young girlfriend (she may be underage). They need to be evicted too. They may be wanted by law enforcement. They are probably druggies. Could Sheriff look for drug stashes in the house and attic, and weapons hidden in the furniture. Will the sheriff call the humane society to take away the 5 dogs and two cats. Do they turn
So when I first got there I had the idea that it was a mock trial. It was not until we start and they started going over the history of the Texas Supreme Court and how they are able to travel thought the state did I realize that the court cases were real. Which, I am glad that they were real cases because that would have been boring if they were mock. So once I got that all right in my head I started to focus on the cases the first one was at some point difficult to follow to quote my friend who’s in high school “I don’t get why everybody is so mad about so ranch there is plenty of it at Walmart at leas that’s what that one dude said”. Now, my friends, he is the class clown, so I knew it was a joke but he did ask me “for real why did he keep
A teenagers boss put him on the corner holding a sign, but it wasn't to drum up business for his company, Precision Construction & Investments, LLC.
On my way to one of the greatest concerts, thoughts were swirling around my head. How good will this really be? Will I make it out alive tonight? Was it worth the wait? The thought that the next highly anticipated song that plays may cause a riot so large it ends my life. I soon found out after I entered the House of Blues, or rather, as I prepared to enter The Rodeo.
After checking every photo taken during the investigation, the Deputy District Attorney, Michelle Trego asked the detectives to interview the witnesses again. “We want to make certain she pays for this crime,” Michelle said riding up in the elevator with Detective Wallace.
I remember it like it was yesterday. People thought just because, I was from Mexico, I wouldn't be able to succeed in life. People laughed at me just because of the way I spoke English.
As I am sitting in my smelly, old jail cell I am thinking why did I pretend to be someone else. I’ll tell you why I got into jail. This is the story of how I got into all of mess and what I did that made me go to jail. Once I was stealing from a store and I was about to big escape while my partner was outside by the car covering for me. My partner and I always robbed places because this is what we did since we were in high school. We got in the car started to drive, went across the bridge and BOOM. We quickly jumped out of the car and got in the boat under the bridge in enough time to get in the boat before the police got to our car to find us. We drove back to the warehouse in the boat because we have to drop the money that we got and we almost
On 08-24-2016 at approximately 1700 hrs, I received a call via the city issued police department phone in reference to a pet that was killed by the neighbor. Upon arrival, I made contact with Carolyn Perry (TX-DL # 13247289), her residential address is 404 W.3rd Avenue # A. Perry was the reporting party about her small 8 month old kitten that was killed by the neighbor. Perry advised me, her small orange and white kitten went missing around last night with an unknown time frame. Perry was told by her nextdoor neighbor identified as Linda Bustos (TX-DL # 08437684), Bustos advised Perry that she had seen a cat lying in the roadway deceased the other day. Perry was upset with Bustos due to the fact that Bustos does not like
We’ve all heard the saying: keeping a positive attitude can mean the difference between success or failure. Fittingly, going through the police academy put this saying to the test! I’m not sure what was harder, going through the police academy or raising a child as a single mother. To be fair, the two are completely different and some might say there’s no comparison. But, as I sit here, memories from that journey come flooding back and I can not think of a similar or equal comparison that captures my struggles I had in the academy the way motherhood does so well. For me, the police academy was an arduous journey of blood, sweat and many tears.
I quickly woke up to the sounds of loud sirens, I have no idea what is going on as I try to regaining my position. I'm noticing my hands are cuffed as I start to quickly realize what is going on. I start to frantically panic as my eyes finally adjust to my surroundings. I see that I'm clearly in the back of a cop car. I observed that the police officer is seeing that he is periodically looking in the rear view mirror then back to the road. I irrationally start to spit out nonsense before I solidly ask him in a shaky voice, “w-w-whats going on, why am I in here?” He looks back at me, giving out a quick chuckle, “oh you clearly know what you did darling, don't act innocent.” I then reply back, quickly giving him a confused stare “n-no
Deputy’s Assignment: On Sunday November 26, 2017 I, was dispatched to 3986 West 171st Street for a burglary complaint. I arrived on scene and spoke to the victim Ron Sober who advised his barn was broken into and items were missing.
Most people are all grown up when they finally figure out what they want to do with their life. I was 4. I realized what I wanted to be when I attended my very first Rodeo. Even though it was so long ago I can remember that day like it was yesturday. That day got me on the path to my future.
As a Nigerian-American, Muslim female living in Baltimore City, Maryland, I am honestly very lucky and extremely blessed to not have had any encounters with the police. I have never been pulled over by a police officer, searched, or arrested. My parents constantly reminded my brothers and I to avoid the police at all costs. My mother always forced us to always drive literally drive 25 mph on the highway and while traveling through residential areas and my father refused to let any of us get tints on our cars to avoid the possibility of being pulled over. Their philosophy was to not just obey the law, but avoid the slightest possibility of even bringing any type of attention to yourself. My parents viewed the police as these powerful individuals who have the power to take your life away in an
The Detective had apprehended and interviewed enough rapists and violent criminals to be able to mirror their moods and aggression without a second thought. In fact, if it hadn't been for his usual business attire and lack of shackles, observers through the one-way glass of the police interview room would often-times have been hard-pressed to guess which was the criminal, and which the Officer of the Law. As a method actor would do, Tom transformed into the character he was to play, on the journey home, and convinced himself that what Lila desired was to be fucked, used and treated like a common gutter-whore. Wasn't that a fantasy that existed in the recesses of every woman's mind, even if at all other times, they wished to be treated as equals, and with respect?
When I got fired from my job over the summer I realized there wasn't a lot to do. I was bored. This led to me exploring the woods around my house.I found lots of things, old oil cans, empty budweisers, and coyote traps, but the biggest thing I found was a trailer.
It was two days after I murdered the old man. I am now sitting in this cell staring at the ceiling wondering why I did it and if it was worth the rest of my life in jail. Thinking back to that night, I was debating whether I wanted to kill him or not. I never had anything against him, he was a good man and I did love him but my babysitter had the same evil eye that he did. When me and my brother were younger he threatened to go get my brother from school and kill him unless I gave him the combination to the safe.5 I had no choice but to give him the combination, I didn't want to disobey my parents but i had no choice I didn't want to loose my brother. When my brother got home from school he grabbed him and told me to say goodbye, I was really
