“When I was a little kid I had a good friend who lived down the road from me. Her name was Aria Robin Hunter. I always thought it was cool she had two first names but she thought it was bothersome since she had to explain it to everyone. Aria Robin was always a very creative girl, even for a kid, she seemed to have all these never ending ideas. She was perfectly fine with being left to her thoughts even when it was because all the other kids thought she was weird. She never minded them when they saw her creations as strange alien things. All she said to the boy who told her an animal she drew was strange looking was that he simply hadn’t seen one before. She didn’t seem odd to me when we were little but I began to see her differently as we …show more content…
I was about to say we should go back to her house when a light began to glow in a nearby tree. Within a few minutes more lights appeared and the woods around us were lit in every color imaginable. The colors mixed with the setting sun and it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. When the sun was completely gone the lights slowly disappeared with the colors in the sky until the moon was the only light left. When I asked Aria what the lights were she said they were pixies. I gently told her pixies weren’t real and I thought she’d be upset but instead she reacted like she did in art class when we were younger, except this time it couldn’t be because of her age, as she was perfectly capable of knowing what was real and what wasn’t. She looked straight into my eyes and said, “I know they don’t exist in this world but they do in others.” “That was the night I thought she’d gone completely crazy though I didn’t tell her that until much later. I didn’t tell her until the time when I knew without a doubt that she had been right about
After walking in on his sub cheating on him with the security guard, Taden McIntire had decided it was time to make a change. He wanted to have a life where he didn’t hate himself at the end of the day like he did working on Wall Street. Reading an advertisement for new entrepreneurs in the small southern town of Cedar Falls, Taden decided to roll the dice and move.
The front door chimed at Theron & Son’s Tuxedo Shop as the proud African-American Mr Hayden Lewis was trailed by his aloof muscular college freshman son, Jayden. Jayden’s only sibling, Cassie, was to get married the next morning; he just flown-in for her wedding against his feelings to her soon-to-be husband.
The igniting spark between himself and Camila did not dwindle, everlasting and perpetual; a conundrum yet to unfold.
First of all I was in my dark room with the only light being my t.v, I playing Xbox with my friend Skylar, we were playing Rainbow Six Siege a counter terrorism shooter. It was a late on a dark, stormy night, it was bomb objective and only I was left on the team to face five other enemies defusing the bomb and I slowly and stealthy with his silenced pistol picked off about two enemies outside the objective roaming and then pulled out his primary the 416-C Assault Rifle and went in blazing in the objective and his heart was racing he picked off another two enemies and that’s when he began guarding the defuser waiting to find the last enemy. “Can you search cams Skylar?” I asked Skylar.
“Shut up, Alec. Tessa, this is Alec, my pain in the ass cousin.” I waved as a way of greeting. Talking would just hurt too much right now.
Ella Wood. That’s who I am just Ella Wood a 16 year old girl who never really had much going on and who not many people knew. She chanted the words while circling around a mirror that had seemed like it was enchanted. It was sparkling with purple and silver stars, and it sounded like some sort of choir was singing inside of it, singing in awe of its glory. Danielle was extracted from this white world and now belonged to the mirror, she looked at herself and there were words floating around her. Creative, funny, enthusiastic, fit, beautiful. Danielle was astonished at what was going on. This was who she was. All of a sudden, she found her self in a room of green. “The words! They are all items that are green! So green is my favorite color, I like avocados, cabbage and pickles, and um… grass… oh outside! I love being outside and I love tortoises! It all makes sense now!” she murmured. “I know who I am, it feels great to know who I truly
Sitting with my laptop in the front room of my house, I nervously wait for one of my church youth leaders to arrive. Family pictures smile from the wall above the dusty piano and colorful patterns burst from pillows thrown haphazardly on the old, brown couch. At last, I hear a knock at the door and rush to open it, revealing a woman standing at the door. Seeing her cheerful smile, I begin to relax. What was I so worried about? This is Emily Wilson, an amazing, wonderful woman. I lead her over to sit on the couch, taking my place across from her. Despite her apology for being so “gross” in her purple tank top and black workout leggings, she has an aura of confidence and cheerfulness that leaves no room for my own nerves.
I send my mom a quick text to let her know where I am going, and we are off in five cars lined up like a Mardi Gras parade. I have a bad feeling about this. I have never been to Micah’s grandmother’s house, and I am totally alone in the last car. If I lose them at a turn or a light, I might never find my way, but I have no other choice but to drive myself because of my early curfew. My friend, Ben, is in the car in front of me, and I am staying close behind him, so I don’t get lost.
Freshman Ella. It’s a scary thought, but for this story we have to go back to March of my freshman year at an event called Chamber Festival, which is basically when you play in small groups instead of large orchestras. In our school orchestra I was second chair viola which, me only being a freshman, was a very big deal. At least it was for me. Many of my other friends in orchestra already had their own instruments, and I felt like it was time to get one of my own. So for months I begged my parents. I insisted that I wouldn’t give up playing in a year or two, that I really would stick with it long enough for the investment to make sense. Finally, in the beginning of 2015, they agreed to get me a viola. Now was the hard part, agreeing
To survive was the greatest challenge that I’d ever faced in my life. Hello, I’m Harry, and I was subjected to something that I’d never forget, mainly due to my PTSD… So, yeah. Anyway, we’ll get into that later; let’s start at the beginning.
I watch the expression on her face drop before she replies,”Nothing… Nothing. Why would there be anything wrong with you?” Her voice sounds unsure, like she could choke on her words at any moment. ”Then tell me,” I scream, “tell my why everyone always leaves?” I caught her off guard, I know it. “Tell me why everyone leaves. Why I am always alone at night when the monsters come out and I most need someone. Or why no one ever seems to care. Am I just a temporary thing? A pit stop?”
I was known for being the awkward girl from apartment ten. I would spend my afternoons watching all the boys playing soccer and all the girls playing dress up with their Barbie’s. They were enjoying their childhood and I longed for that happiness. Whenever someone knocked at my door, I dropped whatever I was doing and I would run to answer it with the hope that it was someone wanting to play with me. One day the manager’s daughter, Melanie, knocked at my door asking me if I wanted to play with her. My heart skipped a beat and I ran to my room and grabbed all my dolls my little arms could hold. My heart was filled with joy, I was ready to play whatever game she wanted.
Aria went on her usual path home, It had no other walkers on it but that 's why she loved it so dearly. As Aria walked home her quietness got interrupted when she heard crunching in the leaves. She looked around and saw no one. ‘’Aria honey is that you,I have been looking for you”said a voice Aria couldn 't locate. ‘’Leave me alone how do you know my name’’shouted Aria. Suddenly a thin figure comes out of the woods. As it approached Aria she saw a thin light skinned women with green eyes wearing jeans,a tshirt, and a face filled with joy. The women also had the same
