It all started when i was in fourth grade. It all changed what inspired me came by whole big dream that i wanted to be successful at. I was at school just a normal day, and it was times to go to PE, and my coach got out a circular ball that i had never seen in my life. It was kinda colorful, it had some weird word written on it, but i couldn't see from where i was standing. My coach handed us each one of these balls, and coach called them volleyballs. My coach told us what to do and what not to do, so i was at this net, and just gave the ball a high five because that's what he said to do. Coach came over to me, and kinda directed me through and told me it was called a serve. That day i went home thinking about it, and i decided i want to do
I believe that everyone lives life in a different ways. There isn’t a certain way to follow in life. You have to make life fun and live it to the fullest. Whether it be by yourself or with somebody you love. To me I don’t think anyone should be individual their whole life. Everyone should have somebody male/ female that they can be happy with. Life is full of surprises and it throws new things at us every day.
Lesly Campos Running defines who I am today Starting high school can be a little scary, especially when you have no guidance from siblings, like me, being the first one from my family to have an education. But that did not stop me from succeeding, I?ve always been confident and determined. I?m an enthusiastic when it comes to trying new things. Who would have thought I was going to be a good athlete plus a book geek, when in my past years I was just a regular kid. I was pretty excited about joining a club that had a connection with high school, that way I didn?t have to start from zero, I always want to be a step ahead. Fortunately, in summer, a high school coach was recruiting freshmen for running either cross country or track, they both involve running, so I considered it like the same sport with different timing. And this is when it all started. Running
To start off, in high school, I was the captain of Football, Basketball, and Track. As captain I am held to a higher standard because the other athletes are looking up to me. That being said, if some one was messing around or not doing something right, it was my
I stepped on to the field, On a hot summer day. It was seven in the morning, I was tired, but ready to play. We all proceeded to the locker room, with no warning. There was no expression on our faces. We all ran out to the field at our own paces. I put my helmet on
Angle On The Sidelines Doctor Larry Smith was the Pediatrician in Toombs County for as long as I can remember. He was well-known and loved in the community and a member of Lyons First United Methodist Church. Dr. Larry was married and he had two daughters, one stepdaughter and a stepson.
When I was a freshman, I tried out for the dance team. It was a terrifying experience. I felt as if everything was going against me. The minutest thing appeared so menacing at the time. I didn’t only fear the actual tryout, but I had to imagine how utterly frightening it would be if I made the team.
I want you to know just how much I miss you. Life has been very different out here living my life on the front lines. I miss running through the fields and playing baseball with you. I miss going down to the lake and fishing with you. I hope that you know that I would do anything to be with you right now but sadly I can’t. I have now realized war isn’t what it is made out to be. Some movies make soldiers out to be some extraordinary heroes and show that the good guys never die but that's not the case in the real battlefield. As it turns out underneath the uniform is just a normal person like me or you. Also, as it turns out the good guys die too, and a lot of them. Life in the trenches might be worse than it is made out to be. Living conditions
I joined the Make a Difference club on September 2016,where I completed my community service. I completed a total of 37.5 hours in the club.
“Please, don’t go.” My best friend since middle school was asking me to do the one thing I couldn’t. “If you leave now, you won’t be captain of the tennis and debate teams. Come on man, we’ve been dreaming about this for years,” he pleaded. “Sorry, I can’t miss this. Besides, we’ll always keep in touch,” I replied while trying not let my voice catch.
I have never been an athletic person. I was never very fast, or skilled in athletics, and I always preferred reading to running. But during the winter of my seventh grade year, a close friend talked me into joining swim team, and in the spring, several of my other friends talked me into going out for track. As it turned out, I still wasn’t good at athletics, and I still didn’t enjoy most of it, but I think it all ended up being worth it in the end.
Happy Tuesday! I just wanted to send over a note of thanks for taking the time to speak to me yesterday on the phone. After our conversation, and my Skype call with Kirby I truly believe with my experience in handling food & beverage, lifestyle, talent and entertainment clients coupled with my strong media relationships across those fields I would be an asset to the Joneswork team.
Is my judge ready? Is my opponent ready? Resolved: Most meaningful extracurricular activity: Debate, no contest. During my first years in High School, I was afraid of public speaking because I did not anyone to notice my English accent. However, when I joined my school Debate team, somehow I forgot
The Skateboard Park – Conquering the Half Pipe – 2 I slung my backpack over my shoulder, grabbed my skateboard and helmet, and headed to the park. The weather was perfect and I knew this would be a great day to ride my skateboard. The skateboard park was only a few blocks from my
Matt, Very excited to be back on the team. I hope you are also enjoying the spring holidays. Classes are getting knocked out easily. I do have a question, I forget what time my day started. I usually showed up when Graham arrived.
