After a few minutes, I pull into the parking lot, parking right next to a little blood red sedan with a license plate that gives me a chuckle, FME HRD. Shaking my head I walk into the office and toward my desk, sitting my satchel down I knock on Lucy's door. I walk in quietly as I hear her on the phone, walking over to get a soda from her little fridge. I hear her talking to an unknown party as I look at her wall of pictures, I can see pictures of her with many high powered people. I see her with the mayor, as well as with the governor and many others I don't recognize. I watch her face go a bright shade of cherry red. "Well, you can take your idea of a deal and slam it up the crack in the road," she yells as she slams down the phone. "Damn defense attorney's think I'm dumb as an ox just because I have a pair of boobs. I really look forward to getting that child molester in a courtroom, showing him exactly what this idiot with boobs can do." I watch as she shakes out her hair a little, stretching. "You know, being on the phone that long listening to that twit talking, I feel like I've lost a few brain cells," she chuckles as she walks around the desk and gives me a little kiss. "So did you get lost? I didn't think you'd be gone this long because we have the next case to work on. It's some guy named Tyrone Mitchell, arrested for spousal abuse, assault, and assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer." She hands me a pile of files. "This guy really gets around. I think this one will be a pretty open and shut case, cause he's got a really bad temper as well as a long history of abuse. Personally, I kind of wish they had the death penalty for child molesters and spousal abusers, but I know that's never going to happen. Anyway, It doesn't surprise me thought that he attacked an officer, as long as I've known the man he's had a problem with authority. I can remember when he even threatened the landlord of the building I live in. He told him that he would put his head through the mailboxes, one at a time if he didn't get thing water fixed. The reason that sticks out in my mind is because the landlord told us just the day before that he had the part ordered, he was just waiting for it to come in. It rather surprised me when he went
