I spent nearly five years getting rid of the shadows that I have experienced sexual assault. This incident occurred in the winter when I was a five-grade student in primary school. However, until now, I still remember it.
On Monday, 11/30/2015 at approximately 1755 hours, Officer Lauritzen and I responded to intersection of Holt Blvd and Plum Avenue to assist Sergeant Ortiz to subdue a suspect who was fighting him. Upon arrival, I saw other OPD officers trying to handcuff the suspect, later identified as Kevin Larry. Larry was on his stomach and he was yelling that he did not do anything. Larry was resisting arrest by turning his hip side to side and was trying to pull his hands to the front of his body. Larry was grabbing our handcuffs and he was not letting them go after being told to let go. We told Larry to not resist arrest and stop fighting. He refused and we forcefully pulled his hands from his sides and placed them behind him. We handcuffed him and he
The midnight sky is pitch black with only a slight gleam of light emanating from the moon. The night is so silent that even a pin drop could be heard from miles away. No one is stirring and the world has drifted off into a deep sleep. The night seems blissfully peaceful. But the silence is torn by the sound of rustling leaves in the distance. Two dark shadows emerge from the forest and gaze heavily at the sleeping house. The two figures slowly creep towards the house with devious thoughts racing through their minds. They begin to tear open the window screen and quietly crawl into the house. A flashlight pierces through the darkness and flutters through the rooms. The figures begin to rummage through the house and fill their hands with wealth.
On 04/18/2016 I assisted Sgt. Patterson on a traffic stop in the 900 block of East K-53 HWY, Sumner County, Kansas. When I drove past I observed an older four door passenger vehicle stopped on the north side of the road with Sgt. Patterson's patrol vehicle behind it with emergency equipment activated. I turned around of K--53 and pulled in behind Sgt. Patterson, I activated my rear emergency lights and walked to the passenger side window of Sgt. Patterson's patrol vehicle. In the vehicle he had stopped I could see two white males sitting in the front driver and passenger seats, Sgt. Patterson was already back in his vehicle and was running the occupants information with SUCO 911. Sgt. Patterson told me that the passenger was moving around
“Breaking News! During the afternoon of April 23rd, Dr. Phil Johnson was found dead in his office. The murderer is unknown, but luckily for us former detective Stan Walter, a good friend of Phil’s has taken the case into his hands. If you have any thoughts to who the murderer is please report it to the police. Back to you Alex!” The tv turns black and I look over to see who the culprit was and it was my wife Rosalind. “Honey, I know it’s devastating about your loss, but your food is getting cold. Now come eat.” “Ok” I respond, annoyed. At dinner my wife and I talk about the decision of taking the job as the detective for Dr. Phil Johnson’s death since he is my friend. Eventually, she gave in and let me go to my office.
Regardless if the officer felt threatened or not, he lived. He got to see his family. The person he killed can’t. This victim will never see his/her family again, his/her mother lost a child. The hardest thing to do is bury your child before getting buried yourself. With the thought of having to bury their child, the family goes through tough episodes – grief. They mourn the loss of the family member, but also let the grief get the best of them. Some retaliate. Retaliation is payback, and some people feel an eye for an eye, leg for a leg. These broken families try to get justice the best way they know how, because they know that they will not get any from the justice system. There are many ways to cope with a loss through faith, and just being around positive
I, Sgt Noe 1737, arrived on scene to interview the suspect and witness. Suspect stated he attempted to break up a fight when he was attacked by someone he thought was a plain clothes Officer (Bouncer Hunter Knight). Officer Herman was in full uniform. Suspect apologized for his behavior and requested leniency. I observed the suspect to have minor scratches on his face and tazer prongs in his lower abdomen. Witness, Hunter Knight, statement was consistent with Officer Herman's statement. Crimelab was summoned to Ft Sanders for photographs. Officer Herman's car was out of video range and the camera had powered down prior to the incident. When Officer Loveday arrived to assist, the suspect was in custody with no further incident.
So when I first got there I had the idea that it was a mock trial. It was not until we start and they started going over the history of the Texas Supreme Court and how they are able to travel thought the state did I realize that the court cases were real. Which, I am glad that they were real cases because that would have been boring if they were mock. So once I got that all right in my head I started to focus on the cases the first one was at some point difficult to follow to quote my friend who’s in high school “I don’t get why everybody is so mad about so ranch there is plenty of it at Walmart at leas that’s what that one dude said”. Now, my friends, he is the class clown, so I knew it was a joke but he did ask me “for real why did he keep
As I was leaving work this week, I saw my wife racing the other direction trying to flag me down on my motorcycle. Once I reached the house I called her cell. She said, "DeWayne, Sophia just drowned in the pool." I asked if she was alive and she said, "Yes Ashley gave C.P.R. and the neighbor has Olivia." Our old granddaughter is Sophia and Olivia is our newborn granddaughter. Something inside me for weeks has been preparing, As my son-in-law and I were building the swim deck, something inside said, "Sophia is going to jump in the pool soon and drown." Normally I would have been completely stressed out. However, something inside said it is okay go see how you can help the kids not feel guilty.
I am working with children from birth to three years. The big challenge for me this week is to get all the required paperwork done, but I have trouble completing these papers. As a result, I have to change the place and my supervising professional, and that is hard to me especially when I completed the paper getting started and the interview with my old supervising professional. Now, I have to find my new supervising professional and to do all the required papers for getting started. I finally met with the principle of the new place today and she told me that they just have one child who diagnosed as having Down syndrome. In fact, as I understood that I have to work with more than a child and that is not available in the new sitting.
Most of my drumming moves was OK, but I wanted to get even better. I was pretty excited when my instructor showed up at 430. "Hey, professor, I'm so glad you came to learn me to play!" I said. He got to the point. "Lets see how you play now, and then we'll improve it," he said. I played Tapper's Suite Better than ever, but my skill went unnoticed. "First," he said, "You must set the drum at elbow level. Then we'll worked on your arms and hands." We positioned the drum, and I played again. "Your left hand your weaker is lagging," he said, "and, what's worse, your holding the stock wrong." He made me hold my elbows in grip the stick securely, and straight with the same force from each hand. I was happier before I knew how worse I was

It was a dark and stormy night when the woman entered my office. Ms. Silverfox slinked into the room, legs up to here. I was reclining on my chair smoking a cigar when the Broad slapped a wad of bills on my table. By eight o’clock she was done rambling about her case and it seemed like a easy fix. Little did I know this easy fix that pertained to her marriage annulment was covering much more than a cheating husband. I had been hired to go undercover in a covert investigation to find proof that her ex-husband had swindled her out of a million dollars.
A victim who police have taken hekto police station gives testimony. She looks at a man in a police lineup and says, "That's the person which saw in my car." Researchers that now claim that the eyewitness stories what courts often rely on are not always reliable. which Psychologists have conducted experiments who revealed some surprising results. They played a crime scene video for participants and then asked the participants to remember details. Results showed that participants often described events, which they knew nothing about and had not
She had quickly set up her own private science laboratory in her private basement the Institute had provided her. She started spending time on the experiment and began to experience again with little success. Weeks passed by and still no success.
