Day 02 – Cuddling Somewhere Somewhere there is a universe where my whole existence takes place within an endless sea of blankets. Where there are no outside forces trying to keep me away from the warm cocoon I’ve created; made of wool and cotton. Quilts create a colourful tapestry of everyday life while the stress of this life adds no weight to my ever tense shoulders. These moments are the ones I cherish. The moments filled with bare skin and intertwined limbs. The ones that I look back on most when a day is particularly stressful and it feels like all the forces of the universe are working as my opposition. The darkened bedroom that smells of coffee with an antique couch shoved against a wall. This room feels more like home than anywhere
There are many times in our life that shape who we are, most of these “moments” go unnoticed. Things happen and change us in an instant so we often don’t remember these “moments” simply because they do not come across as something memorable. They just happen. If you’re lucky enough, you can remember this defining moment, and be able to reflect on this moment in a time of need, to remind yourself of the long journey that got you where you are at today.
In life, there are so many things we take for granted. Some of the most beautiful things we see and
It started as typical Tuesday with a couple of court hearings, maybe an arrest, but nothing to exciting. That all changed at dawn.
Today we are leaving Concord New hampshire. We are very upset because we loved our visit. We were packing up to leave. We walked down to go eat some breakfast. I got toast. After breakfast we went up stairs to get are stuff to leave. When we hopped in the car we looked out the window of the car.
In my opinion, there are two ways that you can make the moments in your life count. One is to fulfill your
Week one has passed by quickly! I think this week was very successful and I can say that I have learned many new things. This week has been an experience for me learning things about the business world. I am not a business major so I was not expecting to take these classes. I was assigned them, but have found them very beneficial. As I read through the first couple of chapters I read things I had heard before. This was a good thing that I could put the information with the terms I had heard previously.
“I’m going to break you.” She said. “Every single bone in your body and once you recover, I’ll do it again if I have to.”
When you don’t have to do anything or be anywhere in particular…but mostly in that moment may you realize here and now what a gift your life is not just to you, but to everyone who knows you.
In the past, I associated my most cherishable moments with things physical and current. I was most influenced by the actions of my surroundings; including those made by my family and friends. However, when I attended a summer program at Columbia University during the summer before my senior year, I had the privilege of unraveling a journey within a poem. This journey has had the most impact on the way I view myself within my surroundings.
"More than anything, I just want you to know that there is more than one person you can lean on. You may have someone up their who you are relying on, but you have two incrediably strong sons who would never wish to see their mother in pain like this. Whatever the outcome we finally get your boys will be strong for you and in return I'm sure you will be strong for them."[/b]
"You can't keep holding on to stuff like this, James." Natasha sighed, slipping a delicate hand through her hair. "It's not healthy."
Moments, completely oblivious to us as children, that can change the path of our future. Moments separated by differences in time, put together to complete a purpose in the end. But I cared less about 'moments' as I was an arrogant, overconfident, and impatient child; I thought my future was set, and that nothing was going to come in between me and my 'dreams'.
Moments are special and hold my families greatest and sometimes worst moments. Every picture my family takes tells a story with a beginning, middle, and end; even though the picture only captures a single moment. My family loves to take pictures because it helps us remember moments that have been forgotten over time. When going through pictures with my grandma, she would

It had been a long day at school. My family and I had just moved into a new house that August. My sister and I had been begging our parents to let us get our own cats for months but they wouldn't grudge. My sister and I had even been looking on the internet for some free ones and we even found one that was 6 weeks old for free! It turned out he had come from New jersey in a car compartment, and he was stuck there for three days because the family didn’t notice. The family couldn't keep him because they owned three dogs already there own but they still didn't grudge! Two weeks later my sister had an orthodontist appointment so right before it my mom said,” While she’s at the orthodontist I need to take you to walmart.’’ When I asked her why
