Ally’s family is very wealthy but, their money couldn’t help her father’s sickness, he died in 1947. Her mother remarried to a rich man that had a daughter of his own. Ally was sure that her stepsister Ally hated her guts she just didn’t know why. Ally hated that her mom had to choose a man with so much money because it felt like he was trying to buy their love. Ally had to get used to the new house. One evening Ally went exploring in the house. In the outside, there was a gorgeous garden. She skipped over to the small fountain, there was frogs on the outside and one bright white flower. She thought it was odd that there was only one, she touched one of the petals, a secret door opens. She felt like it was calling her in, once she walks in …show more content…
She walks in and sees one of the butlers dusting expensive pottery. She walks over to the buttler and asks him to knock over the vase he swung his hand and knocked it over. Ally now new how much power she had that she can use. I can use this on Victoria. Then maybe she would stop being so cruel to me. The dark magic was taking over her. Later that night during dinner the table was silent. This is a great first dinner well I wish it was. Ally got the perfect idea. The maids coming in the room with the drinks she commanded them to accidentally drop it on Victoria. Victorias face went red she stormed off. The next morning she woke up and the rose was all dried up and black. She threw it away and went to get another one. The place didn't look the same, dead flower laid on the ground. Ally didn’t care she grabbed many more roses. Day after day Ally plots more revenge on victoria and the more power Ally got. The secret place with the roses was getting worse and worse. One late night Ally was still awake and heard someone crying, to her surprise it was Victoria. Ally lightly knocked on the door. Vitoria face streaming with tears and her eyes red. What do I do? Do I hug her or what? Ally sat next to victoria, victoria hugged her tight. Why is she crying? Is it because of me. Ally was starting to realize victoria didn’t hate her she was just sad that her dad married another
Three weeks ago my fiancé, Jenny, and I moved into a beautiful old home in the outer suburbs of Boston. Jenny and I met ten years ago at Boston College and have stuck together as I toiled through medical school and she supported the two of us with her job as a paralegal. I bought this old house to celebrate finishing my residency and as a way to thank Jenny for working so hard to provide for us while I chased my dream of becoming a doctor. I could imagine Jenny and I raising a family and living here for the rest of our lives. Well, that changed soon after we moved in and I found something terrible living in our attic.
I did not meet with Pt. , I was paged by Lisa Micciulla, front desk in the emergency room to please come to the ED concerning an "urgent" situation regarding this Pt. When I arrived in the ED registration area an MGH Security personnel stopped me to talk with Pt's daughter, Charlene McDonald. Pt's daughter explained she was not being allowed to see her father, who she understands was brought to MGH for surgery after a fall. Explained to Ms. McDonald, I was aware of Pt having a gaurdian, and that there was a court ordered visitation schedule between Ms. McDonald and Pt. She reported this was an extreme situation and she showed me text messages she had sent to Pt's guardian, Attorney Tine Hajjar. I advised I could not allow Ms. McDonald access to Pt. Based on the order from probate court. Ms. McDonald has visits with Pt on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday 11:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m.
She got through and tiptoed over to Daisy’s bed. She grabbed up the dog as fast as she possibly could, then she dashed out the gate. When she got home she opened the door and shoved the dog inside. Daisy was laying down in a corner and Katherine figured she would be fine for the night where she was. Katherine got into bed and quickly fell asleep. She got up the next morning and walked into the living room. Her couch was torn to shreds and the glass tray full of cookies that was on the counter was shattered on the floor and there was crumbs everywhere. Daisy was sitting in the kitchen licking the floor.
Walking back into the living room, a noise outside the back window caused her to stop in her tracks and turn to look out it. Slowly advancing the window, she noticed a figure sprinting off into the distance. Her face paled, as she reached for the door-nob to the back door. Slowly, she turned it and placed one foot in front of the other, her bare feet coming in contact with the damp
Only twelve hours before, Minnie came home from school in tears, “Mutti, Viktor held me and wouldn’t let me go,” she sobbed. “He tried to make me do things that I know are wrong.” She could not bring herself to tell her mother what happened to her. Instead, she pressed her lips to her mother’s ear and through sobs, breathed out details of the assault.
This summer, I took a shopping trip to target for a late night snack attack. Before checking out at the cashier stand, I strolled through the one dollar spot. If there’s anything I’ve gained from my mother, it's to never ignore a good deal. It was mainly cheap plastic toys for kids but, yet something caught my eye. A Dr. Seuss section, filled with little metal lunch boxes, pencil pouches, sippy cups, and pencils. From Green eggs with ham to One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish. I immediately started sifting through these goodies. Dr. Seuss had been the foundation to my reading journey. Reading all his books since I was six. For Dr. Seuss to fit into my epiphany moment, let me give you a brief but important background to me, Belinda Coronado.
“Hey Dad I’m off to work” I yelled as I raced out the door to my first day at my new job. The local soccer academy hired me to work twice a week after hours to clean their building. Having witnessed my lack of cleaning skills for 16 years my dad looked shocked. For years I had been getting yelled at and called back out to “finish my job properly.” I would often leave crumbs all over the counters or left over food in the sink after being asked to clean the kitchen after dinner, or sometimes I wouldn’t pick up all the fallen sticks in the front lawn before I had to mow it, Determined to change my dad’s belief, I hopped in my car and drove off to work.
She sat at her computer with an anxious wonder at what she would write. As she typed she felt the familiar cold rhythm of the keys clicking. Tap. Tap. Tap. She became lost in her story and her tapping became more and more rhythmic, like the songs of her tribal ancestors. It was symphony of tapping. Her fingers melted into the keyboard and, and the hard plastic became a part of her. An instant sensation of peace washed over her and she began her story. She was no longer typing, but simply thinking, for she and her story were one.
“Trick or treat!” I say, nearly breathless. The pencils in my hair are slipping, my bathrobe is stifling, and we’re running out of time. “We’re with the Key Club, and we’re trick or treating for canned goods to donate to the food pantry. Do you have anything that you’d be willing to donate?”
My superhero helps people who gets bullied. It all started at Timber Creek Academy when there was this girl named Maddie. One day at Timber Creek Academy she was walking in the hallway looking at her book, and then this girl named Jennifer said “how would you like to be my friend”.Then Maddie said “are you sure” and then of course Jennifer said”why not you seem so interesting”.She went along with it,but then Jennifer texted Maddie and said “do you want to come to my house and hang out” then Maddie replayed “let me ask…..” .She said “yes, where do you live” then replayed “5698 Poetry Lane” then she said “ok see you soon”.
1. Two year ago, my friend found out he got cancer and could die in a few months. It was a big shock for all of us because we all thought he would be okay after a surgeon cut the normal hyperplasia in his neck a couple months ago. In his birthday, we asked him what he wished. He said that he used to want to be a doctor, but in that time, he just wanted to be a normal person who could go to school in the morning and play games at night. Therefore, my friends and I helped him out. We took turn to tutor for him and sometimes in the weekend we came to his house to play game together. From that moment, I understood him and this life more and more. It wasn’t easy time for him and for me too. We together went through our difficult teenage. He used to be fear to die. I used to hate God and this unfair life because it took my friend away. However, after day by day we spend time together, he help me Ito realize that our lives didn’t count by days we live, but by memory we did together. That was me who waste too much time for myself. Then, when I had no more time with my friend, I tried to blame to God. I was so apology. I didn’t help him, but he helped me to realize the
The water was green and murky, with no telling which area was safe to jump into. The wind was still and cold, surely the water would be ten times colder. I have dreaded it all day, the end of the hike. Nervous I took steps closer to the verge of the cliff. I looked off the edge in disbelief that anyone would willingly jump off. Only a select few would decide to make the jump, and one of them was me.
“Mouad; you better take care of your brother, I’m going to do shopping and I’ll come back in about 2 hours”, Ordered Mother. I was still sleepy like a man who hasn’t been one night sober, scratching my scalp since my hair was long and oily. I still remember one of my classmates calling me snow head towards the end of term 4 since I was shattering dandruff all over the carpet in my classroom. I then ate Nesquick cereal and had a moment of clarity to decide on what to do today. My brother then pursued to start watching Toy Review channels on Youtube which I believe does nothing but make little children spoiled, like brain washing children in Sierra-Leone to fight in the local militia. He then put the volume on the television to 62%, the reviewer
“ Grab your, things we are leaving,” my mom said. From that moment, after those words were said, my life completely changed. I was a little girl when my world flipped upside down. I went from having everything to having nothing at all. This all happened due to “a little fight” that became big; a fight where hands were thrown and tears were dropped. My brother got into an argument with my grandma’s husband and her husband hit my brother. My mom was at work through all of this and I was in a corner, crying, hoping that someone walked through that door for help. My grandma was just there, watching, trying to blame my brother for something that just happened. Thank god in this moment an angel walked through that door, my mom. I run crying to her
Every time she heard her mother call out a man 's name it ignited a small flame of anger and indignation in her heart. She shouldn 't have to sleep out here in the cold, scary living room all alone while some man took her place in the bed. She hated all of those men with a passion. They were nothing, yet fully capable of stealing her mother away from her completely. They only wanted to use her mother, why did
