My friends and I wanted to go to a haunted house without telling our parents. It was going to be the 5 of us, but at the last minute, our 5th friend thought her parents were going to find out so she didn’t go. She was right. A couple weeks later all our parents found out and we all got grounded. I told my parents that I was going to the home football game. My friend Lexi picked me up at Four O’clock to go to the game because we volunteered to work at the concession stand. We wanted to make sure that people saw us at the game so if our parents asked if we went there we technically wouldn’t be lying to them. The three of us got picked about Six O’clock by my friend Payne who lives in Geneseo. Payne was only 16 but there was going to be 4 of us all together in the car so he said we needed to take the back roads to Peoria because there would be fewer cops there than on the interstate. We got to the haunted house at Six O’clock. Payne had to drive around a little because he couldn’t find a parking spot. As we walked up to pay for the haunted house there were weird, creepy people following us up to the booth. We got our tickets and then we had to sit down for like 10 minutes because they were waiting for the line to go down. Finally, they told us we could go get in line and we waited for 2 hours in line.
