Can I hold Pickles?” Rosie said in a quiet whisper. Izzy said, “Sure you can keep the dress. Here's” Pickles.” Rosie took Pickles but he jumped out of her arms and ran away. in 2014 I had done a lot of fundraising in the past year such as selling about 50 spam musubis a day plus cookies and brownies and even selling bentos and doughnuts ands finally trail mix bars during school. even outside of school I did fundraising from car washes to even mowing yards. eventually I made enough money with the help of all my family to get to go on the trip. I even made more money so I could relinquish it so I can buy gifts and such things like food. I'm not infallible at Japanese because it so happens that I cant read any of the signs that are in japan. when we landed in japan it was amazing because the airport was so huge and had paintings that look so amazing. when we got our luggage, it was pouring rain when we went outside to the bus. it was about an hour and a
I have heard the phrase, “life isn’t easy”, so many times in my life. And I finally realized the truth in it.

Addy said well it should be something else then sean to hide the fact that we found the fountain of youth . So
I entered the gym door with 16 people, walking to the lockers on a hot summer day. One by one we all changed into our uniform. When we finished the coach called us all out and made us get a volleyball. Things got really interesting and fun. From there we practiced serving the ball over the net. Next, he made us get in a circle to serve the ball to each other. Tomorrow same time 2:30, we will start again. The objective for today was to play against the team. He split the girls and me into two teams. I got on the black line, feeling anxious but dauntless. I saw the net and the line across the other room and I gazed at it. At practice, I couldn’t hit the ball back when the other team served. I constantly tried and tried, but I failed. I experienced that volleyball’s not my thing, but I had to keep trying.
I speeded up, crossed the bridge, and headed north to Santa Clara. I was going to college. After so many years, I was still moving. Ten minutes later I finally saw it, the Santa Clara University.

Today was the usual day at the base as one of the guards watched the show on the television. Nothing was showing up on the radar as men were looking at it for any sudden changes. Tristan Dimont, a private, was looking at the radars until he heard footsteps and got up to salute. The others soon got up to salute at the captain. He saw the captain walked towards him and looked at the radar. "Has anything changed?" the captain said towards the private as he looked at the radar. The private looked at the radar and said, "Nothing so far, sir." he quickly turned to the captain, "But, the radar did spot a couple Spanish ships earlier.".
I was in 8th grade, but I walked out that high school gym with my shoulders back and head high like I was the big man on campus. My confidence went through the roof. In one day I had gone from extreme anger with my parents. Then I experienced terror as my parents drove me to the high school. Surprisingly this turned around to confidence and pure excitement for the years to come.
While at the restroom Rose turned to Julie and said “that boy needs to stop talking to you”. And Julie said, “He’s just being nice”.

Dyllan heard creaking in the woods. As he was quivering in fear Dyllan whispered, “Guys I think I hear something in the woods.” “BOO!” Sarah screamed. Four teens named Dyllan, Sarah, Stefani, and Carmelo were walking down a path then suddenly a burnt house appeared. Carmelo not being afraid, walks up the creaky steps and opens the door. Instantaneously Carmelo flies backwards. “Is he dead?”, Stefani asks in a scared shaky voice. “Got you!”, Carmelo says while wiping off his pants. He then said, “There is nothing to be afraid of, let’s go in.” So they all went in.
1. Two year ago, my friend found out he got cancer and could die in a few months. It was a big shock for all of us because we all thought he would be okay after a surgeon cut the normal hyperplasia in his neck a couple months ago. In his birthday, we asked him what he wished. He said that he used to want to be a doctor, but in that time, he just wanted to be a normal person who could go to school in the morning and play games at night. Therefore, my friends and I helped him out. We took turn to tutor for him and sometimes in the weekend we came to his house to play game together. From that moment, I understood him and this life more and more. It wasn’t easy time for him and for me too. We together went through our difficult teenage. He used to be fear to die. I used to hate God and this unfair life because it took my friend away. However, after day by day we spend time together, he help me Ito realize that our lives didn’t count by days we live, but by memory we did together. That was me who waste too much time for myself. Then, when I had no more time with my friend, I tried to blame to God. I was so apology. I didn’t help him, but he helped me to realize the
Kara Gubler woke up at her regular time, 5:15 in the morning, took her shower, got dressed; in her purple Adidas sweatpants and black Adidas sweatshirt, ate her favorite breakfast; Corn Flakes with Milk, and headed out the door. It was 6:30 when she got a taxi to 6142 Roswell Rd, where she would get her new Pointe shoes. When she opened the door at 7:45 she was welcomed with the familiar scent of foot deodorant. After a few seconds of awkwardly standing in the doorway, Kara was greeted by an older, heavyset woman. “Who are you and what time is your appointment?” the older woman asked “Hi I’m Kara Gubler and my appointment time was 7:30” Kara answered politely. “Well I would normally decline late appointments, but I’m feeling giving today, go take a seat”. Kara went to the corner of the store where there were dozens of boxes of shoes, waiting to be tried on.
This is the story is about me and my thirst for revenge on the man who killed my parents. One sunny day, my family was cooking together. I was outside playing with my dolls when I could smell an acrid scent coming from the stove.
It was a hot and arid afternoon in June 2000 in Pakistan. People and animals alike sought refuge in the shade. I sat taking notes under an old oak tree in the middle of town, absorbing the writing on the chalkboard propped up on an easel. Despite the fact that I grew up in a culture where a fourteen-year-old boy is expected to join the physically-demanding workforce to provide for his family, I had already reached my personal zenith of the time; learning and acquiring knowledge. This classroom of a handful of students and a teacher was the biggest luxury of my life. It eventually led to one of the most significant achievements of my life: being the first-generation college graduate.
