I will never forget the first time I went fishing, and how I instantly fell in love with it. The first fish I ever caught was in a local pond, it being a 5 pound catfish. I was four years old when I did this, and it seemed surreal to me that I could catch a fish like that. 10 years later, my family and I have competitions to see who can catch the most massive fish. My mom currently holds that record, with a rainbow trout weighing in at a whopping 22 pound 14 ounces. A typical rainbow trout would normally weigh anywhere from 1 to 4 pounds. She was so proud of that accomplishment that she had an exact replica made, and it is now mounted on her wall. I never seem to tire of fishing, as it is an activity that I never say no to doing.
