Personal Narrative: Expedition Everest

We were walking and then we stopped at the ride called “Boomerang”. The ride was another roller coaster. I begged my dad not to go on the ride because he said let’s go on the ride. Unfortunately, I gave up begging him and he we went in line. The good thing is that the line wasn’t really long. After waiting for twenty minutes, we finally got on the ride. I looked around and was frighten. I knew the ride would first turn forward and then backwards. The ride started and I screamed. The ride wasn’t as bad as “Medusa” which is a good thing. After the ride was done, I was happy to get off the ride.I thought the ride was actually really fun and I loved it.

Ever heard of the Appalachian trail, it’s 2,000 miles of wildness stretched of all you see.

Humans are animals. Even as developed, personalized, and intelligent as we are, we share a deep connection with every living thing. However, many of the problems in the world result from the human belief that technology is more powerful and can replace the serene, perfect essence of nature. I believe that a connection with nature can heal wounds and help humans find balance in their lives.

We were all scared. My grandpa, dad and I running straight into the track. The only thought there was in my mind was, he isn 't okay. Making sure that he turns over and lays on his back as someone calls 911, I left to go get the cart from the trailer. As I left the track to get it, I start crying, fearing the worst. I run back the track and have my dad help me put the car on the trailer cart and pull it back to the trailer and run back to my uncle. As I got back to my uncle, he was talking some intolerable words. After a few minuets, I heard my name from him.

Then That's when the anxiety kicked in. As the creaky cart started to go up the tracks creek creek as the cart went up. I kept my eyes open as I watched us go up. Once we reached the top I could see the beautiful day and the bright white clouds and the… aww as the cart went down, the cart was going so fast It was like I was flying a 100 miles per hour. All I could hear were screams of everyone and myself but mostly myself. Once we went down the big drop it was not that bad, I couldn't believe that I survived the drop that was normally the part I cried on. After the big drop we went in a big circle as it headed for the little drop we went down in the big circle as I had my hands up feeling free like a bird. Then the little drop hit you could hear the cart starting to speed up on the tracks again and I said “woh” and then the cart started slowing down again as we reached the station. We all clapped and said We SURVIVED! Once we exited the cart with are legs numb from all that excitement and impact we headed down to get some drinks and to discuss which to ride next, and that was the time I survived Six

           As soon as we pulled up me and my brother Spencer jumped out of the car like we were bungee jumping, although I still kinda felt really sick, but there was no time to chicken out and ruin this perfect day so I sucked it up and went with it. We took the Six Flags bus to get closer to the park. The bus had a circle in the middle that spun so I asked my mom if I could sit there and she said, yes! They were sitting in the front of the bus where I couldn't see them but it didn't matter. I felt like I was already on a roller coaster because every time he would turn a corner I would go flying. I looked out the window and saw the most beautiful tree I have ever laid my blue eyeballs on, in my life. All I could think of is I will never see a tree that beautiful in my life! After what feels like an hour on the bus I get really sick and tired of the “pretend rollercoaster” so I look out the window to see another really pretty tree! “My goodness they have a lot of beautiful trees” I say under my breath and think nothing of it. We both wanted to ride the same thing first so we stood in line and waiting to go on. When we got close to the front you could see the name of the ride it was called fire ball. That name just makes it seem fast the ride was a circle shaped of obesely its going to be fast. So finally they opened that little gate so we could enter, there was these steps you had to walk up then we sat the third seat from the front. Then the ride stared moving side to side it scare me I just sat there terrified and screaming that is how scared I was. Then it started going side to side even fast to were half of the people on the ride were upside down an I was one of them so I stared freaking out and laughing I could control myself then I look over at my sister and she’s screaming her head off. That mad me laugh even more then it stared go even faster and it got to the point were everyone was upside down and there was a moment were when everyone was at the top it stopped and stayed there for a few seconds then finally it went in a couple more circles then it was

There were thoughts of actually dying and that gave me a strong excitement. The ride had begun it was slowly going up at first I could see myself getting higher and watch my mom wave at me. All of a sudden the ride had stopped. It was about to get much faster and at that exact moment my mind went blank. The ride had started going up instantaneously as I started to yell at the top of my lungs. I was faced toward the theme park as I went higher I felt butterflies squeeze my stomach. Once I reached the top the ride it stopped moving. The whole theme park was so small from the top of the ride I was surprised to realize that my mom looked like an ant. The rays of the sun were flashing into my face but I was feeling fantastic. Suddenly, there was a sound of gas release and boom the ride started to go down and things started to get bigger again.

I was standing in line with my sister and cousin waiting to get on the “Viper”. We were at Six Flags having already been in the long line an hour and a half. We all went on our favorite rides, then we decided to go on the roller-coaster. This was going to be my very first ever roller-coaster in my life. Then the roller coaster conductor told us to get on the coaster. I jumped in, put my seatbelt on and listened to the safety precautions. Then the conductor pressed the button and we were off.

We finally reached our destination which felt like hiking the Appalachian Trail. We took a deep breath and scrabbled straight towards the bread aisle. Unfortunately, they ran out of Sunbeam bread, so we were forced to get the bread that made my organs to come out. Whole wheat bread!

We got on the ride quickly there was no line and I was scared, like about to pee myself scared. We all got strapped/buckled in and the ride started, it started climbing the first hill to then drop us onto whatever came next.It seemed like

So my mom didn’t want to get on a roller coaster after.that which made me kind of sad and happy because we got to get on the other rides and so after got the iron riddler.we started exploring again and we got on a water ride based on the looney tunes.so when got and we had to catch a log to get on it.so me my brother,sister and dad got a log.it kind feels like we were on a river just the way it swayed and moved. as we moved it went slow at the begining it but all of a sudden is got fast and made a big splash.we all got wet then a head of a dragon started following the log and spray water.

I was always scared of roller coasters, something about them made me feel weird inside. I would go to Great America with my friends and wait outside the rides that were scary for me. I never really thought about getting on any rides that dropped at the speed of lightning and loops that make your stomach flip upside down twenty times. I would just sit down and watch the rides as they dropped. That was until one day, my friend told me “Close your eyes I’m taking you to somewhere that’s fun.” I didn’t know what she meant by that but I did what she told me to do. She also covered one of my ears I didn’t know why. “Open your eyes Steven.” I did and at that moment my mouth dropped. I tried running from the line but it was too late. My friend had made me get in line for the scariest coaster in the park. It was named “Flight Deck” .The seats were empty and the small gates opened. She pushed me into the seat and locked me in as fast as she could. I heard the snap which meant the seat was

When we got there my brother Anthony got to go first on the huge and biggest hill ever. He went so fast I couldn’t believe it. First he was on the huge hill, than he was at the bottom of the hill. Than it was my turn. I was so scary. Then I took off I went so fast I was already down the hill and the scary part was ever and then all the rest was easy and awesome at the same time. When I got up my little sister Starr was scary to go by herself. So she ask me if I could go with her. Of cause I said yes and when I said yes she hug me so tightly. We went together she took all of the room and I was smash in one spot.
