Hi Detective Infanger, I am sorry, I know that by now you probably see an email from me and think, ‘oh my gosh, is she ever going to stop?’ I will, but I need ALL the gory details before I can. It may seem insensitive of me to need this information, but I’m his wife and I wasn’t there, and while I realize that you were not there either, I’m sure that you have a much better understanding of exactly how it happened and to be quite frank, I’d like to be enlightened. I am not sure if you and Detective Nelson are interchangeable as far as your job duties go, but from the way the narrative in the police report read, it sounded as though you got to be the one who dealt with the families this time rather than the recreation??? I could be wrong, …show more content…
Smile So I just received the accident photos and here is the quick run down that I have surmised... Kevin is traveling in the middle lane probably going about the speed limit, he is traveling extremely close to the bus or actually riding the line(we’ll come back to that). Anyhow, he sees the car turning, and hits his breaks, he slows down a bit, I assume only has time to make that correction since he‘s traveling at over 18 ft per second. He hits the CRV with his front tire somewhere along the rear passenger side door(impossible for me to tell from the photos, since he took the door off with him) and then since there is still has quite a bit of momentum behind the front wheel, the bike’s back end literally has to pivot one way or the other in accordance with the front wheel hitting the car. The bike swings to the right and hits the car a fraction of a second later swinging it flush and against both passenger side doors. The car continues on toward the curb and the motorcycle, Kevin and the door remain at the point of
On February 9, 2011, at approximately 7:15 AM, I, GBI Special Agent Abigail Wilkes, arrived at 293 Stone Road to process a crime scene involving two deaths. When I arrived, the crime scene was secured with yellow tape. I met with Deputy Sheriff Ray Chandler. Chandler told me that the two victims, Steve Campbell and Sherry Campbell, had two gunshot wounds each. Sherry Campbell died in the master bedroom of the residence, but emergency medical services (EMS) took Steve Campbell from the scene. Chandler informed that the EMS personnel entered the residence through the front door and placed Steve Campbell on a stretcher. Steve Campbell 's injuries created a blood drip trail when he was transported to the ambulance. The drip trail began in the master bedroom, went through the hallway, out of the front door, and into the yard of the residence. Steve Campbell died on the way to the hospital.

It started as typical Tuesday with a couple of court hearings, maybe an arrest, but nothing to exciting. That all changed at dawn.
On 07/17/2016 at approximately 0618 hours, I was notified by Detective M. Carter #181968 of a traffic fatality involving two (2) Toyota Camrys on Broadway Avenue, west of Pine Lawn Avenue. Upon arrival, I observed the involved vehicles at final rest on the outside edges of Broadway Avenue. I observed heavy damage to the front of both vehicles. I made contact with Deputy R. Lariz #4826 and was informed the driver of the red Toyota Camry was transported by Hillsborough County Fire Rescue to Tampa General prior to my arrival. I assumed the responsibilities as the lead detective and Detective M. Carter took the responsibilities as the scene detective. Deputy J. Winters #246608 was assigned the DHSMV traffic crash report
Prior to the murder taking place, the marriage had started to crumble, physical altercations between the two occurred
I spoke with Ryan, who stated he was eastbound at about 40 mph when he stated he could not stop in time & struck the trailer. Ryan stated he was wearing his seatbelt & was alone in the car, a 2015 Nissan Altima bearing MN registration of ADT800. Ryan’s car had severe front-end damage & appeared to be stuck on the left frame rail of the trailer.
On July 23, 2017 at approximately 0645 hours, Ofc. Furr (#9345), and myself Ofc. Kelly (#9340) were on the scene of a fatal car accident located at Martin Luther King Jr Hwy and Glenarden Pkwy, in Glenarden Maryland 20706. While blocking the road and conducting traffic control, and while the accident reconstruction investigation was underway, an unidentified suspect arrived on scene in a vehicle after driving down the wrong side of the road. Suspect jumped out of the vehicle and began charging towards the car accident screaming “that’s my sister!.” The suspect was first confronted by Lt. Jackson (#9330), who blocked his way and advised him to stop and halt and that he could not go to the car crash. Suspect pushed Lt. Jackson arm down and ran
Crossing the median can have deadly consequences, as the above accident demonstrates. When one vehicle crosses into the wrong lane, it is likely to hit another vehicle head on. Head-on collisions account for only two percent of car accidents but head-on collisions result in ten percent of fatalities from traffic accidents. One reason a head-on collision is deadly is it is as if the driver’s vehicle ran into a brick wall because both vehicles are moving forward at time of the impact. This increases the severity of the collision. Even at low speeds, a head-on collision can be deadly.
I always say to my family, “One day we will cross la frontera!” Living in Guadalajara, Mexico was not for the faint of heart. My family didn’t have much money and it was hard watching them sleeping on dirt floors. Mama, Roberto, and Francisco deserved better that what they had. I always imagined us crossing over to the beautiful United States. I knew one day we would cross that border so my family could have a better life.
The extent of the injuries is not certain at this point. Detectives are actively following leads, and the
He releases the break and begins turning the wheel in the direction of the spin praying the tires catch before running full speed into the median. After, what felt like an eternity, spinning around and around as if caught by a crashing wave the tires catch. The truck jerks violently as Paul regains control the truck bangs up against the side of the exit ramp a few times while the brakes gently applied. The truck starts to slow down and Paul turns right to avoid the median and swerves left to dodge the light pole. They hit the curb rocking the pair ridiculously hard before running head on to a group of
Do you remember when you were in elementary school and you were asked what your parents did for a living? Whenever I would get asked that question by teachers I would get really excited and say “My dad’s a cop!” He’s put robbers and murderers and in jail, so of course I would be- and still am- proud to say he was one.
1. Introduction Is there more to life than reproduction, survival and, eventually, death? What is the purpose of the existence of human beings, if there is one? These are the questions that Arthur Schopenhauer, Peter Wessel Zapffe, Thomas Ligotti and Rustin Cohle, one of the main characters in the HBO hit series True Detectives by Nic Pizzolatto, have asked themselves and tried to answer. The tragedy is that we, as human beings, know that there should be more to life than reproduction, survival and death.
