About two years ago my sister had taken in a dog named Morgan. At first I didn’t exactly agree with this because she already had a dog that she hardly took care of. When my sister brought Morgan home she was about two months old. I could still hold her in on had. And as I spent more time with her, she became my baby.
Walking up to the shelter only to find that the dog we wanted is being taken home by another family, we thought we wouldn't be getting a dog today. But when we found her, we were glad that the other dog was taken. Her black, slicked back fur shedding off of her perfect dog body. Her black beady eyes are bulging out of her head with the look of excitement. Unable to hold herself back she breaks the leash that the vet was trying to hold her back with. Running to us, she slips and falls on her head. We don’t have a second to worry because she jumps up and starts licking our faces with her slobbery tongue. By the time she is tired from licking our faces, we feel as if we just went swimming in a pool of melting jello
She was a lot of fun to play with and she was very energetic. We did not get her that day, but the employees told us that the dog we were interested in was going to be at Petsmart the next day. We went to Petsmart and we were going to make the final decision if we were going to get her. My sister and I really wanted her but my dad was hesitant about the idea of getting her. He did not know if we were ready for another dog. My sister and I really wanted her so we exclaimed “ we will do everything to take care of the dog!”
I got my horse when I was twelve for my golden birthday. Before I took my horse home, I went to where he currently was to learn how to ride and spend some time with him so we were both comfortable with each other. My first day there the woman I bought my horse from took me out to the pasture and told me to call his name, Kash. When Kash was the first of many horses to come up to the gate, I knew that he was going to be a great horse. Kash is a chestnut brown and his mane and tail are black, he has a white spot on his forehead and one of his ankles is completely white. The first of three days I did not ride Kash; however, I did groom him and repeatedly put on and took off his halter, bridle, and saddle. The purpose of this was for both Kash and I to get comfortable with each other and for me to learn how to do all these things since I had never been around a
When we got out dog My mom and dad surprised us last year with our dog in a pink blanket. When my sister and me came home during the winter. We asked our mom what she was holding she said our new dog.
"Only if you take care and pay for it and all its things." mom replied
It was a bright sunny Saturday afternoon on November 30th 2013 when my mom found me outside doing chores.
Cars were honking everywhere trying to get around traffic. Horses ran in circles kicking dust up in the air making me sneeze. The dehydrated grass crunched under my shoes as I walk over it. The unpleasant smell of cow manure made me want to go back to the car. I kept walking anyway, the smell growing stronger. I walked with my Mom in the house. Where the puppies were kept. When I turned 11, before I got my dog, I had to choose between doing the responsibilities or not doing the responsibilities and not getting him.
On 09/17/16 at 4:28pm, I Deputy Warden N. Christian was dispatched to 3271 Medina Ave on dogs’ at large owner known. I arrived at the location and saw two dogs in front of that address. As I was approaching the dogs, dog owner Jami Puryear came out of the house. Ms. Puryear stated that the brown chow belongs to her and the second dog black/brown mix breed is a stray that hangs out in the area. Ms. Puryear placed her dog in the house. With the assistant of Ms. Puryear I was able to capture the second dog and place it in my van. I asked Ms. Puryear if her dog had a current license, Ms. Puryear stated it didn’t. I asked to see Ms. Puryear identification card, Ms. Puryear complied. I issued Ms. Puryear a violation for failure to license
One day around two o'clock pm I got a phone call from my dad. I answered it and it was awful news. He told me that our dog, Cruiser, had passed away. He was only four years old, and none of us were expecting it. I thought that nothing good would have ever come out of it. But something did. Cruiser and I were never that close, I never really ever wanted to go out and see him at our farm, but I still loved him to death.
After months and months of begging, my parents finally decided to get me and my sister a dog. They did some research first, and thought that schnoodles would be a perfect dog for our family because they are great with young children and have a very low amount of shedding. We decided to go to a breeder. We drove an hour away to the breeder's house and were able to play with all of the puppies. We chose the runt of the litter, Mimi. Two years later, we wanted to get a friend for Mimi. We contacted the breeder and she said that Mimi's parents had another litter. We chose the only girl of the litter, Roxy.
Many, many years ago, there was a boy named Jake. Jake was only 13, he didn't have many friends or many people to talk to, he lived in the woods so it was very hard for him to make playmates. He was always isolated. He lived with his parents, Joy and Bob. Jake had always put in afford to make friends, but the kids were always mean to him at school.
My First dog’s name was Ramon; my parents got Ramon a month after I was born. The funny thing was that we were both born on September. We had this special bond that I have never had with another dog. Everywhere I would go, Ramon would try to follow me; once he tried to jump over the fence to follow me to school. Ramon was a part of our family and we would not want it any other
On 10/17/16 at 6:21pm, I Deputy Warden N. Christian was dispatched to 3944 Carlton Ave on a dog at large, possible owner known. I arrived at the location and knocked on the door; I received no answer, and left a door notice. As I was talking to the complainant dog owner Johnny Allen Jr arrived home. I talk to Mr. Allen advised him that we have received complaints that his dog was running loose. Mr. Allen stated that his dog is not getting out and if his dog is getting out its due its next door neighbor fencing not being secured. I asked to see Mr. Allen dog, he complied. I asked if his dog was current on dog license and vaccinations. Mr. Allen admitted that his dog is not current on dog license due to him not knowing about the law. Mr.
I can bet that all of us here have wrestled with death once or twice in our lives. We all know how hard it is to cope with the loss of something that we love. After, people say that they completely understand death and what it means. There are many times in my own life where I think that I have understood death. I was wrong. Sure, I have lost fish and grandparents, but the one that hurt me the most and made me truly understand is when I lost my dog.
