I’m Kyla Painter. Today I am doing an essay all about me and stuff I do. For example, my family, the schools I have attended, my education, interests, special talents, my opinions about the world today, and a few more things. There is a lot to know about me. Keep reading to see. First, lets start with my family. There are a lot of things to know. For example, I am the oldest child in my family, as far as my mom, my dad, and my sister. On my mom’s side of my family, I have 3 younger cousins, 2 older cousins, 4 uncles, 1 aunt, my grandparents, and my nana. There are a lot more down in my family tree, but for this essay there are too many, some that have passed away, some that I have never meet, and some that I can’t remember. Lets begin with my cousins. My 3 younger cousins, in order by oldest to youngest, are Clayton, Madelyn, and Rowen. My 2 older cousins are Hannah, and Matthew. There is a story that goes along with …show more content…
For my education I would like to become a vet which means I have to get a PHD in vet school. To help me get started next year I will Medical in 8th grade and also take it in high school. If I take Medical next year and find out it is not for me I will try to become a teacher and follow the line of teachers in my family. My grandma, on my mom’s side, is a high school teacher and as you know my mom is the AP at Shivela Middle School, or I will follow my dream in acting as you may know I am in Theatre, and I love it I have been in plays all throughout elementary elementary school I was the main character in my 1st grade christmas play, I was also little miss muffet in my kindergarten play, also I has the sign holder in my after school program play that would introduce each scene like “Twas the Night before Christmas.” Some of my career goals are to be an intern at a local shelter and graduate high school ready to go right into college and know what it would be for like teaching or vet
Before I was born, my parents used to call me goblin. This was because I ended up being born around an hour after Halloween night, and at the time i was expected to be born right on Halloween. Since then it has been 14 years and I am now a freshman at Turpin high school. I have an awesome family that consists of four people. It’s me, my younger brother Michael, and my parents. Michael is an eighth grader at Nagel, and just recently turned 13. My parents work together in their own company where they recruit people for jobs. Also, the two families (the Kotts & Meeks) that live on either side of my house are pretty much like my second family. I am closest with Elizabeth, who is 17, and Sara who is 16. I love to go on different
life is stupidly hard sometimes, and only made harder when we pass 18 and have to make our own significant choices. It used to be that society and our parents shaped our futures and even pushed us in the direction they wanted us to succeed in, however hard I tried though I always fell short of my parents expectations. I didnt believe people could change and that neither of my parents would change their way of thinking and that I would never be able to change what I was, but people can change and I know that now. They wanted me to go to college and develop myself in a successful career insted I ran from what my parents wanted, got emancipated and married at 16 and then divorced at 21.

Seated in my petunia pink room at my tan desk an excruciating voice rang through my eardrum. “Again!” the voice bellowed. I hurried to rewrite my work. I started at the beginning with printed letters. A,a,B,b,C,c… I wrote every letter of the alphabet capitalized and lower cased. “Now cursive!” snapped the voice sharply. Again, I wrote all the letters but in cursive this time.
I lost count how many times I blinked, just to make sure I wasn’t suffering from caffeine overdose, but after what seemed forever, I finally closed my gaping mouth.
Ever since I was little my life has been changed. It all started when I was 8 and woke up to my parents fighting. They were throwing things at each other, calling each other names, and hitting and pushing each other around. I went outside of my room to go to the bathroom and saw my birth mother, Katie, laying in the floor with a pool of blood by her head. As soon as i saw this I went back to my room and pretended that i never saw anything. I tried to go to sleep, but I found that unbearable. The next morning I was getting ready for school and I noticed that my birth mother wasn't there. It was then at the moment that I realized that she was never coming back. I continued on with my day and when i get home later that day my father wanted to
My friend ,Kendrick, is diligent and self-sufficent.He gives his best effort at everything that he does. One time Kendrick and I were at school walking to the cafeteria to have lunch. Before we opened the door to enter ,we was stopped by Mr.Douglas. Mr.Douglas was Kendrick's R.O.T.C instructor who had a high rank as sergeant major. He stopped us to talk to Kendrick about some important R.O.T.C business.
Throughout life, writing has been one of the major struggles I faced in order to succeed as well as others. Growing up, I would envy success from others, and I would wonder why I wasn’t better than them and why I couldn’t accomplish as much. Therefore knowing my weakness, I worked hard all of middle school to avoid the image that others placed me in, based on the fact that I didn’t do better than others. In high school I tried to avoid it, and it became easier to do as well, but as I arrived to college I wasn’t ready to all of the new expectations that surrounded me. Therefore, I have begun by taking classes that were the perquisites to help my writing improve. The first class I took was English 60B. That class wasn’t as difficult as I imagined and it taught the skills I would need for English 50. After I took English 50, I challenged myself by actually doing research and having to improve my organizational skills. Now being in English 1A, and although it is
My Signature Themes are achiever, arranger, responsibility, input, and significance. Each of these are very significant in defining my strengths and showing me how to best use my strengths in my future. My first strength was achiever and this is representing me as a whole, and is what I use in everyday life. I am a driven person who wants to accomplish many things and I visualize my life as a mountain that I will overcome every day and at the end of every day I will have a beautiful view of what I have accomplished. I use every day in events such as: relentless volunteering, working long hours and everything is done with an impeccable sense of satisfaction after completion. My second and third strengths are arranger and responsibility. These
I'm William. William Henderson. I'm eighteen years old, and the biggest dork you'll ever meet. I'm a sweetheart, well at least that's what Phoenix says. I have floppy brown hair, and grayish green eyes that will melt your soul. Well, that's what I've been told. I have never really been a popular, well known kid at school like Phoenix is, I'm just your average nerd who's a little too obsessed with playing video games.
An important part of every humans life is having something they believe in. Having something to care about is essential for people to reach their full potential in life. People need a special person in their life, or a great job that sparks passion in them to bring them happiness. There are many of these types of passions in my life but to better understand who I am, there isn't just one, there are three people who have shaped the young adult I am today. My two little sisters and my little brother. However they aren't exactly normal siblings, they were given to us by the City of Cincinnati for temporary care, while their mothers tried to recover from heroin addiction and battled in court to explain why their child was hospitalized because of a lack of food.
When I look back on these last weeks I have to smile. I have to say that this class has been a much needed and long awaited step toward reaching a higher goal. I have not been to school in thirty-seven years. I had to leave school when I was fifteen years old. I was a fairly good student and loved to read. I never stopped learning, I never stopped trying to improve, however, I didn’t have any way of knowing whether what I was self-teaching was correct, and whether or not I was improving. I didn’t have a computer, the internet, google, wikipedia, or any of the tools I feel so lucky to be able to utilize now.
difficulty choosing which art to pursue for the next four years. But when I was
What do you want to do when you grow up? This is a question we are all asked as a child. So, what do I want to do. Good question but sadly, I have no answer. I have ideas but no definate answer.Among many different things I want to say a doctor or a lawyer but what I really want to do is be a Theatre and Chorus Teacher. I love to act, sing, and teach; So why not do all three in one job?
I remember a past experience that has influenced me to how I am today. I used to be afraid of heights until I went on an airplane. It had been my first time to ride an airplane and be in the air. When I first stepped on the plane I was very shaky about going. When the plane began to take off from the airport I was very nervous. We were up in the sky and I wanted to be back on the ground in a few minutes. It took a few hours. When we landed in Georgia we got off the plane and got our items.
