Lauren Rezac- My weekend did not really start off to exciting. Right after my Fast-Pitch game I was picked up by my dad in our 1962 jeep. When we got home we had supper and we all stayed up for a little bit and went to bed. On Saturday I had the house to myself, my dad was helping our neighbors while my mom and sister were in ST.Cloud.So When I was at home I was pretty bored so I did what most bored kids I know would do turn up the music and make a little mess, basically I made slime. When mom and Alexis came back my sister got a call from my dad to go help out so I went with her.I helped by steering the tractor when she got bored and she did the speed and stuff like that. On Sunday we gave mom her gifts then we got ready to trapshooting me
As a third and fourth grader, I participated in choir. I enjoyed it then but decided to stop so that I would have more time for homework. In the beginning of seventh grade, when it came time to decide if you want to join choir, Maria Abbulone and I chose to sign up. We thought it would be a fun experience because we enjoy singing, and we had done it in past years. As choir practices began, Maria and I thought that it would be a fun experience for the year, and we might decide to do it in eighth grade. As the choir kicked into full swing, everything was going well.

I don’t recall if you remember but we met about a year ago. My daughter’s name is Julia Talamo and she is going into 11th grade. She has been here since freshman year and is very happy with the atmosphere of the school. As you already know she has been on the swim team placing at finals states since freshman year and swimming is a big part of her life. However, over the past 8 months we realized that Julia was struggling. The stress of such a wonderful but rigorous academic life was taking slowly taking over her positive and lively attitude. We noticed that she was very anxious all the time. We tried to help her but as a determined girl she is she put on a smile and pulled through with all of her responsibilities. However, during

Courage is a theme that is shown throughout the entire epic of Beowulf. By definition courage is the state or quality of mind or spirit that enables one to face danger, fear, or vicissitudes on ones own will and determination. There are many things form the epic that could be used to prove this statement, but I chose to use the section entitled "The Final Battle." In this section there are two great speeches given by both Beowulf and Wiglaf. I believe that in both of these monologues courage is portrayed by the two warriors, and it is easy to see why.
Patience is wearing thin , the shocking moment is almost here. Then a miracle happens! A beautiful brown eyed baby is born into this world.
One night as I was walking back home from work, I heard a scream coming from a nearby house. I did not pay much attention to it until, I started to hear it more often. I was curious about what was going on inside the house, so I approached the house where the scream was coming from. I looked
Character transformations are vital elements to the narrative process. However, in certain stories, characters transform settings and other characters around them. In short stories such as Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Fall of the House of Usher”, Julio Cortazar’s “House Taken Over”, and Joyce Carol Oates’s “Where Is Here?” and television series like Mr. Robot, transformations in the settings and characters enable readers to recognize the repressed feelings in the characters, who remain oblivious to the transformations around them.
I walk down the stairs, surprised by the sight of all my family in my living room. Instantly, I'm wondering what's going on. Usually, no one is up at this time. I see everyone sitting down, and my dog Murphy laying there right in the middle of them all. I stare at my mom and I see the sadness in her face, but she's staying strong.
I yelled for her to come quick scared out of my mind to the point of tears still trying to process everything. I will never forget the look my mom and brother gave me when they saw her. My mom immediately took her from me and told my brother to start the car. The neighbor who witnessed it came over to see the damage, he felt horrible and said he would pay the vet bill. At this point my brain finally processed everything that was going on and I broke down into tears. I cried and cried and just couldn’t stop. It had just happened on my watch and I had felt it was all my fault. If only I had done something slightly different. If only I hadn’t went on a walk. If only we were packing our bags to get ready for camping. If she died it could only be my fault. I truly thought I had lost my best friend. She had to have major surgery but she made it through. She came home and could barely stand for two weeks. Today, she is alive and well. Now we never go on a walk without mace and we carry her past the house where the dog
Courage to me means the ability to do something that frightens you even if there are consequences. Use your fear, it can take you to the place where you store your courage - Amelia Earhart
My dad then told my mom and me that he was going to take her to the vet to be put to sleep. Obviously he didn’t say the “put to sleep” part; I just assumed that being in the state I was in; knowing that the vet wouldn’t be able to fix the mess that had been made just minutes before. Next, he picked her up by using the ugly green rug, my mom opened the door, and he carried her to his ugly green truck. He lifted her inside so that she was facing towards us; so that you could stare deep into her eyes that were as dead as the grass underneath the
