Personal Narrative: Joining The Music Classroom

Satisfactory Essays
Music transcends language and barriers. One of my closest friends lives halfway across the country. We met each other via a music class at our camp. We bonded by playing together, and formed a band of four: two violinists, a clarinet player, and a guitarist. The friendships formed onstage linger, and create some of the strongest bonds in life.

Playing music goes outside the classroom. What I’ve learned in music classroom applies to all parts of life. The confidence I’ve built from singing in choirs helps me present in front of class or perform in front of crowds. The musicians I’ve met have become some of my closest friends. The ability to create and write new melodies and songs helps me to become a better writer.
