Many people have said it… we all know it; but may just pay no attention to it; and just go on, feeling sorry for ourselves. “It’s not about how hard you hit…, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.”
Three years ago our 12u Green Bulldogs baseball team had come a long way in the state tournament, with me at the helm. Through this tournament I’ve been in the lead of my team absolutely ripping through the competition. We got the sixteen seed, and our next game would come up against the one seed.

I came in feeling confident and I had their last hitters coming up, seven, eight, nine, and ten. They lead off the inning with a single. Now, their eight hitter steps in, and it’s a ground ball to third! We could turn two here, but the third baseman kicks the ball and everyone’s safe. But hey, life ain’t fair.
