My experience with writing has been one filled with . When I first began writing I actually enjoyed it quite a lot. I liked that I could express all of my opinions and feelings on a sheet of paper, but as I begin to grow older my interest in writing has significantly decreased. I do not like it as much because when writing there are so many rules and factors that I have to take into consideration. Presently, I have a love-hate relationship with writing. The only time I love writing is when it is an interesting topic. When I am given an interesting topic to write about I could write pages and pages about it. For instance, when I was told to choose a subject and write an essay about that topic I wrote a 5 paged essay about the murders of Nicole
How can I become a better writer? Throughout my writing experiences, I have learned I have many weaknesses along with strengths. My experiences with writing has not always been the best, but over time, with lots of practice and instructions from my instructors, I can proudly say that I have gained a better understanding on the layout of essays and papers. As well as understanding how to write correctly my goal as a writer is to learn how to overcome my weaknesses and use my strengths to my highest ability. I have many strengths, weaknesses and goals that I plan to achieve and overcome in my college career.
My earliest experience with writing was my learning period that formed not only my style of writing but how I studied and the ability to apply words and concepts into a structured format. The process at first was difficult because it was my first time being exposed to structured writing which caused me to put it off until the last minute or lose interest in the topic I was writing about. The rowdy classroom was eager to release near the end of the day, but we knew we had to face one of the more uninteresting subjects of the day: middle school English. The teacher thoroughly explained our assignment which made each one of us cringe. The class finally initiated work mode and I was clueless. I would start to make progress but would be constantly
The writing process has been a difficult process for me for many years. In high school, I did not do well I struggled with coming up with Ideas on how to start my writing. After finishing high school, I worked in the healthcare filled and I was required to chart daily activities for my clients. I found myself constantly misspelling words and writing improper grammar, so I decided to enroll in college and take Composion 1. Writing a complete sentence requires a subject and a verb and has to express a complete though. Also, brain storming was difficult for me to create, I would have my first clue then get lost on what to do next. Over time after some proper tutoring my writing improved a little. I would say writing takes time and what would
The writing process feels different to me depending on the topic I am writing about. Topics I don’t care for feel very long and tedious and it seems like I’m spending more time thinking about what to write than actually writing. Topics that I do like on the other hand feel much easier to write about and can feel like I’m almost rambling. My writing process begins with a fairly lengthy brainstorming session.
I am a writer at an advanced level with good years in practice both on both online and offline. I specialise in a number of topics and discussions and with this experience, i have received good reviews and ratings over a period of time. My client level is broad and most of them don't even have to speak English as their first language. I do good research with good references and citations to all my works.
My journey of becoming a good writer, I have faced many challenges. English being a second language, sacrificing time needed for a good essay paper, and being consistent in writing, has been many of my challenges of becoming a good writer. Repeatedly, I have come to understand that writing is a process, and I can become a better writer by writing more often, and reading novels and magazines.
The sound of Carmine’s snoring from across the hall forces its way through my closed door and into my room. It wakes me before my alarm this morning. I’m not sure what time he came in last night, but I must have been in a deep sleep. Slowly, I go through the motions of my morning routine. Taking care not to wake Carmine, I finish getting ready and leave him a note to tell him I’ll be at the library all day. Just as I finish checking my assignments and pack my book bag for the library, I hear my phone ping with a new text message.
In this semester my achievement of improving my writing skills has increased significantly. My sentence lengths vary in a positive manner along with my word choice improving, becoming more complex and of writing expectation. My main struggle this semester would be the peer editing. Although I have improved significantly I still find it difficult to edit others papers. Further more than the common spelling and grammatical errors. I believe my essays have improved drastically from the beginning of the semester towards the end.
i am fond of analyzing problems that involve decision making process with time constraint. more so, even though i am not really good in written communication, i do like making paper works believing that i can still improve my writing skills, for i believe that learning is a continuous process. lastly, most of my grades in business related subjects are good, so i do believe that i can do
Writing has always been a part of my life. For as long as I could remember, I have always had a passion for writing. I still can recall my first experience. I was in the first grade; also, I just learned how to spell my name. It was no kid in the world more excited than me at the time. I never felt so accomplished. For instance, I used to spell my name with a g instead of a j. I remember going to class with my pencil and my paper every day ready to learn. One of my very first accomplishments as a writer was winning author of the month for being the first student to write a paragraph without any mistakes. That is pretty big for a first grader. It seems like it was just yesterday. Between first and third grade I won many awards, but I had my eyes set on one bigger than a tapeworm appetite. Who would have known that this award would test my writing skills to the maximum
Since earlier today, I’ve had a strong desire to respond to the written “memory” below. So, here goes…
Writing is one of the components in English that gradually took many effort and dedication. My experience in writing so far has improved. Writing was one of the things, I struggled with in school. My writings were on topics, books, and poems. In High school, I knew I needed to improve in writing, so in my Junior and Senior year I took Advanced Placements classes for English.
When I was seven, my mom bought me my own planner for tracking my assignments. A bit of overkill for a second grader, but you know, moms.
“Thank you.” The classroom is stiflingly quiet except for those two soft words. We clap as she returns to her seat, fumbling with her phone to stop the timer. A lull settles as we wait for the next victim. My hands are already trembling when I realize that I’m next on the chopping block.
Sunday. I live right next to the old town Pasadena, so I guess it is better for me just walk to the old town, and to do my writing class assignment. I grabbed my white shirt, black cap and most importantly, my notebook. I started walking from my apartment.
