On the 17th of July Friday we went to the Texas Christian University located in Fort Worth, Texas for our field trip. When we arrived at the TCU I was overwhelmed by the size, and beauty of its massive structure. Sassan the coordinator of athlete facility who is our guide for the TCU facility field trip take us to the first facility. Amon G. Carter stadium home of the TCU Horned Frogs football team. Many upgrades were made such as press box, TV broadcast booth, small video, score board, and seats to develop and increase the capacity number with the renovation in 2012 cost 164 million. Looking around the facility I learned that they made great effort for stadium renovation and all these implementation (process) was to enhance the game day atmosphere. The first facility is much related to the chapter 4 facility planning, because they went through various renovation for future uses of facility and to make attract more fan to support their beloved …show more content…
The facility tour was guided by Sassan again. When I entered the stadium the first thing I noticed about the stadium were the beautiful, well-made baseball field with kids playing baseball. Then when we walked to the locker room their corridors were decorated by TCU’s past players with illuminated name indicates major league player. Their lockers rooms were huge, well arranged, with good bathroom that provides good atmosphere, comfortable and feel pride for athletes that they are TCU players are the all the things that come to mind when I saw their facility. This also remind me about chapter 5 facility site and design. The baseball stadium was located different and away from football and basketball stadium. Therefore, they would considered various requirement and issues before deciding on the right site to build the baseball stadium

I am currently enrolled in the Middle Level Grades 4-8 online teaching program and I feel comfortable with the online class format. Even though I am approaching my final semester with Stephen F. Austin State University, I do still feel nervous that I might miss an assignment or a due date. I find being disciplined and organized helps in my success with my online classes and the text and email reminders through D2L are extremely helpful in keeping up with due dates for assignments and quizzes. I also like receiving my grades quickly and that I am able to easily contact my professors and receive prompt responses. Utilizing the online program through SFA has made it more convenient for me to complete my bachelor’s degree while working and taking
How will I make the best of my time at Colorado Christian University? The same way I have made the best of the rest of my life. You see, I am very much the anomaly of almost every statistic on troubled teenagers. My childhood was not a pleasant one, as my mother’s second husband was not a very nice man. Because our family fell through the cracks in the Child Protective system, I found myself in a precarious position very early in life. Despite being a good student in high school, I was at the age of 16, a teenage runaway. While living on my own and working full time to support myself while finishing my junior and senior year in high school, I made every attempt to complete my education. However, life did end up getting the best of me, and I ended up dropping out of high school in my senior year, just three months shy of graduation.
There is a ticket in my hand that grants me the admission to the University of Texas at Austin. With this ticket I will go to UT Austin and make the most out of my time trying to get a degree in computer science. I have worked very hard for this ticket and I’m glad that I finally got it. At UT, I will take the best classes and study hard to get the best grades so that I can get my degree. This is important because I want to reach my goals and make new higher goals after I complete them. Also, I would join many clubs and organizations to stay active while I am in college. This will help me do many more great things after I finish college.
“Fragile! This Side Up.” Simple words printed alongside an arrow on the side of a cardboard box. Red, faded letters that have reflected my past and have hinted at my future. Throughout my life I have moved over twenty times. I have lived in seven different states, over fifteen different cities, and upwards of twenty-five homes. Through each of these moves I have learned countless lessons that have and will continue to affect my life. Embracing new experiences and following God’s plan for my life are two lessons that I believe will influence my academics and goals during my time with Colorado Christian University (CCU). New experiences are life’s freebees that gave me the involvement and skills, I believe, I need to reach my goals at Colorado
My first year at The University of Texas has been an amazing adventure. I took very intriguing classes such as: psychology, genetics, chemistry one and two, microbiology, ethics, sociology, physics, political science, environmental science, and creative writing. I greatly enjoyed the different people that you meet. The students that you are surrounded with have the same mind set and the same goals. Everyone is very friendly and kind. My first day of school I was lost for the total of an hour but a few students were kind enough to walk me to my building just to make sure I got there. I love the environment of self-teaching and striving for the knowledge you wish to achieve. The professors are all very kind and helpful if you are willing to ask.
The first interesting fact that Mr. Howard presented to the class during his presentation was the price of a master plan for the University Athletic Association and its renderings of facility upgrades. I was shocked to learn that a master plan with renderings of 7 to 8 facility upgrades from an architecture costs $90,000. Nevertheless, the detail of each of the rendering to buildings such as: the football, baseball, softball stadiums and among others show that the University is taking steps to further improve the fan experience within the stadiums that will seamlessly correlate with all of UF’s championship winning teams. However, to get great results you have to spend the money to receive the outcome you want.
It is important to me to chose a school where I think I would most fit in. My tours to the University of Houston have really shown me how diverse the community is, and I love it! I am a very active person who loves to chatter, make friends, and educationally challenge myself everyday. The social, yet focused environment that I felt on my trips makes me believe I would fit right in. The people are so friendly, and to me, it is amazing to see the different races and ethnicities come together to watch and cheer at football games or sing along to everyone’s favorite song the way the students do at the University of Houston. My family is another big part of my decision to apply to the University of Houston. My family is very tightly knit. From attending

I have already come to a decision that i will like to apply to California baptist university. Every student who wanted to further their education had to experience starting a new chapter in their life, which includes move in day. I chose to further my education at North Carolina Central University, which is located in Durham, NC. Moving into a new area, starting a new journey may seemed scary, but I felt like I was at home when I arrived for move in day. Everyone was so welcoming, and had smiles on their face ready to help in any way they could. I still cannot believe I started this new journey in my life, but move in day at North Carolina Central University, was one of the best moments of my life.
These new athletic domes will appeal to everyone’s senses for a long time to come. Many enthusiastic athletes will approach the fields inside these domes, smell the new, freshly cut turf, and immediately fall in love. They will feel the fresh, smooth ball in their feet or hands and create a strong desire to stay there forever. These individuals will find comfort in hearing the massie roar of the crowd rooting for them. The crowds won’t believe their eyes as the talented athletes bolt across the field and will develop a desire to never stop
Building a stadium any city can cost the state a lot of money. However when it comes to Stadium Subsidies project, I believe that the government providing should not be responsible for the cost .to my upstanding government funding should be used to help those t6hat are in needed, not to build stadiums. Throughout this paper I Will answer two questions below to address stadium subsidies. What are the benefits to a town of building a new stadium and Can a new stadium revitalize a decaying section of the city is the questions that I will be answer in a paragraph form.
