My first day in cheerleading was stressful, because I felt afraid but I was happy because I was making part of a new team. I always wanted to be a cheerleader. My trainer introduced me to all the teammates and he said that I was going to be the new flyer so I got really excited because that sounded really cool and I felt like I was going to experience lots of adrenaline and that’s what I like, my trainer and teammates helped me in everything and throughout the weeks I learned very well and
If everything was easy, then everyone could it and it wouldn’t be an accomplishment. Last year I joined an all-star cheerleading team, and that’s when I found out that this wasn’t going to easy that I have put myself out of my comfort zone. I was 17 years old and I was very shy, but I knew that you couldn’t do anything if you’re shy. Cheer was the best choice I had ever done by the second week of practice I was talking to everyone on the team they became my second family my coaches became so important to me they believed in every single one of us they pushed us to do our best and to never give up.
Cheer Athletics in Plano is one of the most prestigious competition gyms in the country. There are other Cheer Athletics’ branches in other places like Frisco and Austin, but not one is as successful as Plano. It is the absolute best place to go for a serious cheerleader. The best and most experienced coaches work there and they are hungry to win. They expect every ounce of energy and athleticism to be left on the floor when we are finished performing. I have never had any problems with an authority figure until I started at Cheer Athletics.
Twelve years ago my mother enrolled me into cheerleading. Cheerleading has truly impacted my life, every day for 3 hours we have practice leading up to major competitions. We are given extra responsibilities, go through training to stay fit, meeting academic grade requirements to participate, show up for games and practices and take the sport seriously. I uphold a enormous amount of credit to my coaches over the past years, they never give up on their team no matter what the cost is. You have to have true compassion and respect for you and your team to be a cheerleader, its a team there is no i in team. I continue to work hard at all i do to keep a good reputation, keep my high morals, and standards at all times, be prideful in my work ethic,
Not all cheerleaders are created equal, they do not perform the same or work as hard. Any All-Star cheerleader will tell you that high school cheerleading is not nearly as hard as All-Star Cheerleading, but why is that? Cheerleading is a mix of chanting, dancing, tumbling, and stunting. Each level of cheerleading has its limits and regulations. To understand why exactly All-Star girls believe they put in so much more work, one must look into the differences between their coaching, training, limits, and requirements to see who really is on the top of the pyramid when it comes to cheerleading.
Hi, I am Arabella, a junior in high school and a varsity cheerleader at Siesta Key High School. I am four feet and eight inches tall and a flyer on the cheer team. I often dress like a nerd, and do not care what other people think. I am dating the star football player at SKHS his name is Tom. Tom was not only a star football player, but he is also very good at soccer, basketball, baseball and volleyball. He is a liar and a cheater too. Anyways, people just call me Bella. I love sports and love spending my days off at the beach. I especially love Major League Baseball; Tampa Bay Devil Rays is my favorite team. I am a happy person most of the time. Who’s dedicated to my cheerleading career; and I want to get a scholarship for Northwestern
Everything was dark, black and quiet. Nothing felt right and when the flickering light at the end of the hall stopped and stayed lit I wanted to run. Slowly shadows grew on the floor and on the wall, people I knew appearing from the darkness. Zack the cheater, My hate filled mother, abusive father, my brother. Every person that causes me pain appeared even my once best friend Nikki who left me for the cheerleaders. I felt uncomfortable and was slowly suffocating from the blank looks and the little light that shined in the hall.
One of my favorite memories that I’ve is my freshman year of football. This is my favorite because we turned ourselves into a 1-8 8th grade team to an 8-1 freshman team. This is a good memory because we came together as a team instead of individuals. This all happened week 1 in August of 2012. One of our teammates shoes were thrown on top of the rafters in the main gym at East Noble High School. Coach Amstutz was told about the incident and the whole team was punished and was forced to run 2 miles.
Becoming a cheerleader at such a young age, being on the cheer mat became a happy place for me. I spent thirteen out of my eighteen years of my life cheerleading and it is definitely something that means a lot to me. Being on the cheer mat whether at practice or at competition has taught me many life lessons that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Having such caring and dedicated coaches made my experience so special and unique. My passion for cheerleading shows tremendously as soon as I step on the mat, and learning many life lessons from cheer has shaped me into the person I am today.
Every since a little girl, cheerleading has been one of the biggest aspects in my life. It has caused me to make hard decisions but it has also taught me to be myself. I have made some of the most reliable friends due to this sport. In cheerleading, we learn how to depend upon each other, support one another, and always be there in a time of need. Although I have only been in the PHS cheerleading program for one year, I am very proud to say I was part of such a strong one that stands out from all other programs that surround our district.
I am a small town girl who has attended a private school in Lebanon, TN my whole life. I have been involved in many things at school to get myself out there and make a difference in my community. To get out of my comfort zone I joined the soccer team my sophomore year and auditioned for plays my junior year. Cheerleading has been a part of my life since fifth grade. My job was always to choreograph the dances. These activities helped me grow as a person and take on leadership roles.
Being an cheerleading for me is like the best thing ever that is going to happen to me, because I love jumping around and doing stuff that includes flexibility. I always wanted to be one since I was little but i never could participate because my parents thought i couldn't do it. When my mother realized that I was flexible and I could some of the things that cheerleaders can do she said I should try out. I can promote the school in many differents way but in good ways. I can make the cheerleading team by getting good grades and doing everything in school first. Not being disrespectful and treat others the same way they treat me back. To be an ambassador for the school I have to Keep my appearance clean, be friendly, and approachable. Another
The countless hours of sweat I had spent on seemingly the hottest days of the summer and once again during the reopening of school, the occasional bruises I would receive when a flyer wasn’t able to hit her spot on time and came tumbling down into my arms, and of course the persistent itch I would feel along my neck from my body suit all served as reminders of one of the biggest aspects of my high school life till date — cheerleading. Ever since I had sat in the bleachers as an 8th grader during the first fall pep rally, I had been mesmerized by the way the uniformed bodies seemed to move in sync. The way they seemed to hit every step with precision, the way their glimmering bows sat atop their head, and the way that confidence radiated off
I waited weary in anticipation of what name would break out of the happy-go-lucky collegiate cheerleader’s boisterous mouth as he was announcing the two lucky 2017 National Cheerleading Association All Americans out of all 4 Belton cheer squads. I replay this moment in my most vivid dreams, feeling the excitement of the halcyon moment grow greater and greater as the nerves and emotions grew stronger and stronger. A moment as imperative as this showed me in the most transparent way that hard, continuous work and growth pays off in many more ways than one.
Stop drop and rumble! I remember the first time making the Atkinson county cheer team. At first I did not think by any chance i was going to make it.Going by that you should imply that when I saw my name on the paper ,stating who made it, i was so happy nothing could bring me down.I felt as if I just made a million dollars, that is exactly how happy I was.
Running the same routine over and over since August 14, 2004 and it is now October 6th. Bodies are aching, feet are sore and we all feel as though
