I will never forget July 27, 2016. I went on my first inversion roller coaster, Medusa at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. When I first saw the track, I got intimidated. I wanted to go on with my friends but I wasn’t comfortable because I’ve never been on one. Earlier, I planned to go on another coaster to get me comfortable with inversions before Medusa. It was now or never. We sat in the 5th row with 5 people in each row. I sat on the edge with my counselor behind me. “Are you sure you want to go?” My counselor asked me. “ Sure. I have to try at least.” I replied ready, but nervously. The train dispatched and we took a slight left turn. I felt like I was going to puke. I always have that feeling, but I know it will be fine. As we went up, my …show more content…
My stomach felt like it was floating. I loved the airtime! During the drop there it was. My first inversion in my life! At first I tried to closed my eyes, but when we were fully upside down I looked, I felt like the YouTubers that go on these rides! “Wow! That was awesome!” I told my friend. We took a high sharp turn. I was really enjoying myself. Then we went through my first corkscrew. It was so cool! It was literally a 360 degree spin. We went through more corkscrews and turns and soon the ride was over. When we got off I told my friends, “I can’t believe I just did that!” We were all so dizzy that we couldn’t walk straight. I was so dizzy but happy that now I can go on the most intense coasters ever. I loved it so much I told my group, “Hey, let’s go on it again!” So, we went on it again and it was even better now I can go on more coasters no problem. I wrote this personal narrative to show that you should get out of your comfort zone and do it. I was scared going on my first inverted coaster and I loved it! If you are not comfortable with trying something new, you will just be a regular person. Try everything. When you say you don’t like it when you never tried it just try. If it doesn’t work out, it’s okay. Fine something else you may
Deciding to be the dare devils that we thought we were, we went on the Rock Bottom Plunge which is the supposed scariest ride. It also happened to be one of my favorite rides. As we approached the ride, I could hear the blood curdling screams of the current riders. The line was quite long, but I knew that it would be quick since the roller coaster went really fast. To pass some time, I decided to take a look around and see what we should ride next. Before you knew it, it was time to ride the Rock Bottom Plunge. After picking out our seats and “listening” to the muffled safety rules, the ride began. I could feel the fluttery feeling in my stomach as the ride went up to the mall’s ceiling. I felt relief as the ride finally reached the top. Much to my dismay, that relief quickly ended as the ride decided to quickly drop. The rest of the ride was like a blur after the drop and before I knew it the ride was
All I hear as i'm going down is ;Grunt, gorge! Plop,Smack,Splash. The slide throws me out and i'm now in an gigantic potbelly. That's when I caught up to my other friends. It felt good for a second but then,Sizzle,Fizz,Rumble.Awwwwww,it burns! It felt even worst than the lava in the restaurant. I sat there for 3/4 hours of burning, disintegrating with some of me over here, and other parts over there. Then finally it opens up and I am push out of the gigantic potbelly into an crazy fun roller coaster.
Since the first day I went on a roller coaster, I knew I always enjoyed being up high and the feeling in my stomach and heart where I feel the world stops for a moment. I have been on many rides and enjoy going
I was standing in line with my sister and cousin waiting to get on the “Viper”. We were at Six Flags having already been in the long line an hour and a half. We all went on our favorite rides, then we decided to go on the roller-coaster. This was going to be my very first ever roller-coaster in my life. Then the roller coaster conductor told us to get on the coaster. I jumped in, put my seatbelt on and listened to the safety precautions. Then the conductor pressed the button and we were off.
The anticipation of waiting in line for the most exciting ride in the park is like nothing you'll feel anywhere else. Waiting through the zig zags of a long line can sometimes bring the bore out of us but, once you sit in the seat of the ride the attendants snap the buckles around your waist your feel a rush of adrenalin as the roller coaster moves up the first hill it bring a feeling of emptiness in your stomach as you go over the first hump. It causes you to feel like you're traveling at the speed of light.
When we first got on I had a physically pain in the pitt of my stomach, the real realization that you are in the predicament that you're in is on the edge of the first hill going down, it's at the time that the ride goes down at speeds unfathomable to you at the moment that your heart skips a beat and when you go up the first loop you feel that the G-force is going to rip your spine out. But when the ride is done you feel like you have just been injected with pure adrenalin right into your heart, you need more excitement to quench the thirst of excitement. Well after the demon and I craved for more thrill, well more thrill is what I got, after the demon Tyler told me the only way to get used to something new is to get right into it, so after the demon we went straight to X-flight one of the biggest rides there and my eager turned into dread as I saw the monumental ride and my heart sank deep inside. But I prevailed and we went on a a few more rides, but after a while we had all decided to take a rest to enjoy the fine
I was at Disney world. I was about to ride to the greatest ride of all time, Expedition Everest. It has always been my favorite ride. This roller coaster is on top of a mountain about 270 feet in the air. Once you get on, there is no turning back.
My first Disney trip was everything I imagined and more. Disney is the most magical place on Earth. Although I was scared to get on all the big rides I still managed to get on. I would stay calm in all of the lines, but whenever I saw I was about to get on the ride I would get the biggest knots in my stomach. On Tower of Terror, I was very close to crying, but I got through it. A very scary ride is Space Mountain. It was like I wanted to start balling out crying, but it was just tears falling out of my eyes. I also hated big drops at the time. The rides with big drops like Splash Mountain, Tower of Terror, and Space Mountain made me lose my stomach. My favorite roller coaster is Rockin Roller Coaster. Rockin Roller Coaster is a fast loopy loop ride, but it’s very smooth and easy going. I do not like jerky rides like the primeval whirl that jerks you every which way.
The roller coaster went up and down then, it was time… As we approached the loop my legs literally started their yearly hibernation. We were finally at the loop. My eyes slowly started to shut as if someone had turned the lights out.
Have you ever gone on a roller coaster? Well I had was fun at first then it was not .Why you may ask well I’m about to tell you why.
My hands were sweating like a waterfall. My knuckles were white from how hard I was holding on to the handle. We kept going up and up, until the ride stopped for a second. The next few seconds were terrifying. I was screaming at the top of my lungs. There were loops after loops, but then I stopped screaming. The ride was still going but I wasn’t screaming. I was enjoying the ride. The last loop came around and the ride came to a complete stop. I looked over to my friend and we both just started laughing our heads off. We rode the ride six times in a row! After that, I got on every coaster in the park. I had gotten rid of the fear. Now that I think about it, I remember the the reason I was so scared of roller coasters. When I was seven, my parents and I went to DisneyLand. We went on this huge ride named “Matterhorn bobsleds.” During the ride, these two huge monsters came out and I got really scared. But what I learned is that fear can be tolerated and can be
I used to be afraid of riding a roller coaster. When I was little I went on a little one. Then one year we went to Magic Springs and I was afraid to ride the big roller coaster. I didn’t ride it that day because it broke which made it even harder to ride it when we went in the fall, but I rode it anyway, first with my step dad and it turned out that the big roller coasters weren’t as bad as I thought. Then I went by myself 3 times. Then I went 4 more times with my cousin. This experience changed the way I thought about trying new thing forever.

Olivia had persuaded me into it. I am now glad she did because that ride was so fun. When I was in the air I wasn’t even thinking about the downside that I would fall and die or something like I usually do. I just had the time of my life. When the ride came to an end, we started walking around and looking for a new roller coaster to ride. She wanted to go to a
That day I overcame my fear of heights took place at Six Flags over Texas. The day started out with my five friends and me going to a Student Council convention. After the convention we were granted access to Six Flags for the whole day. Now the only problem for me was Six Flags had roller coasters.
