Considering your lifetime goals, discuss how your current and future academic and extra–curricular activities might help you achieve your goals. My Lifetime goal are to become a well-rounded engineer and to hopefully create something new that will benefit society while keeping the environment close in mind. I plan to use everything I have used and learned throughout school. I have learned that being persistent is important, because not everything is easy to figure out on a first take. Creating new will contain a great deal of trial and error and persistence will be key to accomplish my goal. A great deal of planning is going to be required to fabricate something completely new, and school will help me be able to plan more efficiently as I plan my schedule in order to have time to study, work on assignments. My classes in school have also help me tackle challenges in different …show more content…
Making connections is important, because they can help you achieve things you cannot do by yourself. This is essential to designing and creating something new, because I might need a resource that is not available to me or simply advice on how to approach a problem. Being able to talk to professors and staff is also a good thing, because not only can you make good friends, but you could also gain mentors that can guide you in the right direction. When working on my goal to create something new I could always reference my connections and friends for their thoughts. Communication is a great skill I have acquired in school. Whether it is communicating with a professor or my fellow soccer players in the recreational center, getting a clear message across is vital. Soccer and class project have taught me how to work in teams. My goal will require for many engineers and technicians to work together, I plan to work efficiently in teams as I try to convey my ideas as clearly as
My legacy began when my family taught me to read. My mom and grandma took turns teaching me different letters and sounds out of an early reader. By the time I reached kindergarten, I read well enough to strengthen my skills on my own. My favorite author from kindergarten was Eric Carle. I brought home Brown Bear Brown Bear so many times that my mother told me I was not allowed to read it again.
Starting high school can be a little scary, especially when you have no guidance from siblings, like me, being the first one from my family to have an education. But that did not stop me from succeeding, I?ve always been confident and determined. I?m an enthusiastic when it comes to trying new things. Who would have thought I was going to be a good athlete plus a book geek, when in my past years I was just a regular kid. I was pretty excited about joining a club that had a connection with high school, that way I didn?t have to start from zero, I always want to be a step ahead. Fortunately, in summer, a high school coach was recruiting freshmen for running either cross country or track, they both involve running, so I considered it like the same sport with different timing. And this is when it all started. Running
I believe everyone has established goals during their life. They might not write them down or even have a plan of how they will be successful, but the ultimately outcome is based on the individual and their persistent to accomplish it. One goal that I have dedicated and work so long for seems to be coming to a close, but it is a step forward in achieving my ultimate goals. Through planning and being focus anything is possible. Goals that I have established after my post-graduation consist of areas in my personal, academic and professional life. My personal goal is to continue to make every day count and see it as an opportunity for growth. For my academic goal is to obtain my Licensed in Clinical Social Work. The professional goal is not to be passive, but instead begin
I think that the most important aspect that Peters stresses is image building. My end state goal is to become a College Professor. So surrounding myself around like minded people as well as building a relationship with the heads of the department would aid in building a reputation that can be called upon come the time I can make the transition toward my end state goal. As we see in the news almost on a daily basis gossip in politics has profoundly negative effects. Any thing that could be construed in a negative manner will look poorly upon you. Best practice is to stick to the known facts and stay professional. Attitude is everything and maintaining a "cheerful disposition" works two fold as one setting yourself up to be more positive and
Many people have left legacies from when they were alive. Some are good, and some are bad. Those people may not agree with what they have left behind, and some may be perfectly okay with theirs. For me, I would like to leave behind a legacy that shows my family that I was a good person. I would want them to know that I had good intentions for my life and that I wanted to do good for myself and others. In this essay, I will explain what I would like my legacy to be like.
Have you ever felt robbed of a childhood? At the age of six, I was placed into the DYFS system. I moved from house to house, not really having the chance to grow up like normal children. I didn’t get to experience things such as ; asking my older sister advice on boys, learning how to cook grandma’s favorite recipe, or going on family vacation to Disney world . I worked hard to get where I am right now. My experiences have made me of who I am today , my story will tell you my background, where I came from and why my application is incomplete without it.
When I think of the word legacy I think of how I will be remember and what I will leave behind for generations to come. I think of people like Martin Luther King Jr and Gandhi, whose impact changes the lives of many and the world as it was known during that time. I don’t think that my impact will be received on such a big scale like Martin Luther King Jr., Gandhi, and many other but hopefully I will be able to touch the people who were close to me during my lifetime.
The lives I would touch for my legacy would be my family and friends because those are the people that care about me and what I do. That they would help me out with anything I need. My major accomplishment would be a pro soccer player and go to Rutgers College. The other accomplishment in my life would be to get very good grades in school to get a good education.
Think of what you would think of on your final day of life. Sitting in your hospital bed,
I am applying for the opportunity to be places in the student affairs and college counseling progam because I have always had an aspiration to help students obtain their educational goal. I am a first generation college student in my entire family and I am a vivid imagine of all the obstacles I had to overcome to obtain my education. For example, some of the obstacles are that I had to work while being a full time student at Fresno State, numerous people doubt and criticize my education and myself for wanting to success, and I had to commute to school which is about 45 minutes away. During these 4 years I has to commute because I am also a caregiver for my two younger brothers. For this reason, I made the decision to apply to the master program
From a young age, athletics were a very important part of my life and soccer was my passion. Whether it was playing on boy’s teams and summer leagues, or refereeing tournaments and coaching soccer camps, I was constantly trying to improve my game. When I came to college, I was excited to have the opportunity to continue playing soccer. Unfortunately, I received several concussions and I had some complications that ultimately forced me to stop playing soccer after my sophomore year. At first I was distraught, all of my personal goals were gone and I was no longer working with my teammates toward the goals we set together. However, I realized I needed to find new interests and new objectives to work towards during the rest of my time in college.
Fortunately for me my personal, professional, and education goals is one in the same. My goal is to one day preach and teach the word of God. I must first equip myself with the skills necessary to bring forth God’s word. I understand being able to be an effective communicator and a critical thinker are some skills that I will need in order to be successful in my ministry. Being a responsible leader is very important in today’s society. I want to not only a have church of my own, but go aside the four walls so I can be a global citizen with the gifts God has gave me spreading Christianity through the world.
Truck driving is very dangerous you have to be prepared. It is a very dangerous job and requires knowledge. The way I am going to be successful is if I graduate high school. Next I need to first get a class b driver license and then get a class A license. These process take a while to get but it is worth it.
My 3 Goals i want to achieve: My first goal would be to improve on my overall maturity. My lack of maturity has let me down multiple times in the past, however, I do believe that I am on top of this issue. It will still be good to improve it. My second goal would be to work on player relations. To elaborate, I am well aware that not all players like me. That's fine, I won't at all let this get in my way of applying, but I would love to resolve a few issues with players. My third and final goal would be to help HcZone expand and reach its full potential! I don't believe that I need to elaborate on this as it's fairly self-explanatory. On another note, I would also like to stay clear of drama. Not starting drama comes under this additional goal.
