INTRO. I knew at the beginning of my Sophomore year that the teacher I was to have for English would be especially challenging and that his homework would be lengthy and time-consuming. Nevertheless, I decided also to pursue theatre because in doing some introspection, I felt shy and introverted and was not satisfied that was what was best for me as I moved forward through high school and into college.----.
CLASS. First, in English class the teacher instilled within me the motivation and inspiration to offer my best and be creative. It was not a honors class per se but I think I learned more than in any honors or ap class I’ve been in, not only educationally, but about myself. Introverted. I had excelled in choir at school in 7th-8th grades with the same teachers, and I was comfortable with them. But then the next year choir changed into performing arts. I decided that for me this class freshman year would get me out of my comfort zone and challenge me. Needs lots more info here (so what happened 9th grade year). I enjoyed my 9th year experience so much that I followed through into 10th grade. Leading role, etc. I loved performing so much, I gained so much self confidence, and I learned what it means to push myself far more than I had before. However, junior year of high school changed that: I was given the opportunity to take either AP Psychology, or AP European History. I felt that the obvious choice would be to take AP European History, since I’m European and therefore already had a solid foundation for succeeding in the class, but something inside me told me to take a blind leap of faith and choose AP Psychology instead. This choice proved to be one of the greatest decisions I have made in my life. Through this class, I emerged myself into the world of psychology and fell in love with it. It was the last last few days of summer before I started my Sophomore year of high school. My freshman year I applied and ran to be Sophomore class president, and I won. Before the start of school SGA (Student Government Association) had the responsibility to welcome and show new students around the school. While showing and bonding with new students I meet two new sophomores students named Ethan and Olivia. Ethan was a very attractive young man who was six feet and had nice dark hair, that was swooped to the right. During my Sophomore year I interned with the Pennsylvania Democratic Party. As an intern I trained and recruited volunteers, registered people of all parties to vote, canvassed and phone-banked for the 2016 Presidential election, ensured that voters had transportation to their polling place, and watched the polling locations to ensure the safety of all voters.
It was during my Sophomore year in high school that I was failing classes like math and science. My parents and I where very concerned about what to do and what help I needed to get. So they decided to test me to asses where I was academically, and to gauge the ways to get me where I wanted. The results of this test concluded that in subjects like math and science along with reading. I was still on a middle school level, and on a fifth grade level in math yes I said fifth grade.
Starting at a young age, I was enrolled in honors classes in elementary school and continued to high school because I had parents that wanted the best for me, I was naturally talented with absorbing knowledge, and I was dedicated to school.
Being a freshman is the hardest of your four years in high school. Have you ever been pressured to be the best person you can be? This is how my year was as a freshman. Freshman year was the most different I never thought I would of found my way around the school when I first started to go there. Freshman year I took a chance outside of my comfort zone, and that risk gave me a future in a career I am extremely passionate about. Since freshman year I have been shadowing my high school athletic trainer. I have learned how to; prevent, asses, treat, tape, and rehab a variety of injuries. However, what has fostered my interest in my major is being able to see an athlete through the entirety of an injury. In all my years of school, I never really enjoyed reading or writing. In elementary and middle school, I didn't hate it but I didn't look forward to it. Although, the books we had to read were not bad and I did enjoy some of them. Once high school came along, all the assignments got harder and my dislike for reading and writing grew stronger. Overall, I would say my Sophomore year was the worst but not because of the assignments but something else bigger than that.

Junior year has been my most challenging year because it was a time where I balanced academics, work, and extracurricular activities. To begin with, it was nearly the end of the fifth grade and everyone had to choose what elective they would like to have. The choices were band, chorus, orchestra, and art. Over the two years I had to do multiple essays on themes of various books. One on Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, one on Night by Elie Wiesel, and one on Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger. All of these essays helped me by refining the basics of paragraph structure and other things like what exactly is thesis statement.
