My summer of 2015 was pretty amazing. I mostly played baseball, went to Helen, the beach, and a whole lot more ! This was one of the best summers I ever had . Two-thirds of the summer I played baseball . All together I played with three teams ; two of them were travelball and then I played with my rec team. The three teams were the Shockers, Outlaws, and my rec team the Rebels. I won a lot of games and won a trophy. I had hundreds of hits and got hit by a pitch once. I played three positions : pitcher, outfield, and a little bit of third . You could say i had a career going on there . For vacation my family and I went to a mountain range town called Helen, Georgia. We stayed in a beautiful cabin on top of a slope. The cabin had three
I had a lot of fun this summer and overall I could say this is one of my best summers. I did a lot of things over the summer, it was all baseball we would alway have games and it did not feel like we had a break. For a tournament we went to Jacksonville, Illinois for a baseball tournament and i had a blast! Even though we came in 3rd and did not win, we still did stuff after the games like swim, play PS4, and much more. Another thing I did was going to South bend Indiana and go to a South Bend Cubs game which is a minor league team for the Cubs. While we were up there we also stopped at Notre Dame and walked around and looked at the campus. We were going to look at the football stadium, but it was under construction. I thought that the campus
I had a very busy, yet fun summer. It went fast, but I had a good time. My summer mostly consisted of; playing baseball, going on vacation, and attending my family reunion.
Over the summer Megan and I went to Wisconsin with her family . It was an outstanding trip with my best friend. We went to many different places and got all kinds of things. We stayed for 6 days. We stayed in a cabin on Lake Twin.
I first worked for Summer at Saints last year, as a volunteer unsure of what this experience would entail. Between the first drop-off and the final pick-up, I was quickly impressed, and to some extent intimidated, by its ability to transform. The timid became unafraid, the wild became calm and the rancorous became kind. The experiences of being a volunteer, and seeing these children mature, even in the smallest ways, has been the most rewarding experience at Summer at Saints.
Hey guys Artisy here how are all of you doing? I hope well. So I know this chapter is late, but I needed some time for family issues that are going, on, for me and my EOG is next week, so I've been really busy, but dont worry summer is coming soon, so more chapters yay, and hopeful I'll be able to finish one of my books during the summer because I have, so many story ideas, and ones that are in progress, but enough about that let's get onto the story, and please comment what you think about what happens in the chapter.
We’re only several days away from 2017 and I’m sure we can all agree that 2016 was a really, almost unbearably, long and turbulent year for many of us. We’ve been graced with everything ranging from people becoming dogs on Snapchat to Vine being shutdown and lets not forget McDonalds introduced a 24-hours breakfast menu. Although 2016 was the worst we’re going to recap on all the good and bad things this year has given us incase you forgot.
I regret a lot of things I’ve did in the past. I was a follower and I did crummy things just to fit in. From stealing, fighting and smoking; I wanted to be one of the popular kids because I looked up to them. I just needed a reason to stop doing these things, and it only took a few hours to make me realize that I was going down the wrong path of life. I had to make a change and I had to make it a change for the better.
The brain is 3.3 pounds, has 86 billion nerve cells, and makes up 2% of 100% of people. Though this organ belongs to all people, it is still unique to everyone. The decision made, emotions felt, and life that was lived can be held in the palms of a person's hand.
Sometimes it is hard to keep two groups of friends, especially if they don’t like each other. For me, while reading the book Wonder, I connected with the character Summer because I have been in her place before.
I never saw it coming, everyone but me knows it doesn’t just form overnight. They can be perceived at least a few days in advance, but how was I supposed to know, I’m no storm expert. To me the days prior had an uncanny tranquility floating about, not even a moonlight in sight and then it changed like a spark in a fire. Everything had altered almost instantaneously above my head, transforming into a ferocious beast that would take over the town on the murky July day.
It Was a calm day in Mid-July, Although very hot outside, everyone at my house was cool. I had some friends over the night before, and we were all very tired from last night, there was Jeric, a tall, African-American, Teenager, Aaron, a short, white, teenager, and Jacques who was a tall, strong African-American Adult. We were all so exhausted from the previous night, and so were the girls that had joined us somewhere over the course of last night. It was all well and good until I received a phone call from my mother saying that she would be home in two whole hours.
This summer I spent a lot of time doing fun activities. My favorite thing that I did this summer was go to cedar point. The conveyor belt pulls the carts up and releases them on the top of a hill. The momentum from the hills on the roller coaster keep it going the whole time. I also went swimming a lot, I would use my arms and legs to make my self-move by paddling and kicking. Over the summer I played a lot of football, I would use the momentum from my arm to throw the football to another person.
My initial plan for the summer was to finish all my summer assignments in the first two weeks so I can relax for the rest of the summer. I have already failed this goal because I haven’t touched any assignments due to all the lovely homework given by my early morning math course at MA. I am a indoor person so I rarely go outside during the school year. However, every summer my family and I take a two week trip to some out of state destination. This year we are going to Oregon to visit several National Parks. Because of my father’s deep love for nature, unless I persuade him to put other destinations in the schedule he never plans to go to famous places other than parks. So it is my responsibility in the family to google other places that we
Spring break! Always the time to lay and relax, but the deadlines are approaching rapidly that I can barely have some time do so.
It was the Saturday of Fourth of July weekend, the busiest day for restaurants at the beach, and coincidently, I was walking to my first independent shift for my new summer job at a quick serve restaurant on the boardwalk in Avon-By-The-Sea. I was mostly confident in my abilities; I could make drinks, smoothies, coffees, write food orders, and charge customers but there was one task I was dreading: making a cone with the oh-so-unforgiving soft ice cream machine. I was hoping by some miracle I would not receive a soft cone order but given the huge mob I saw standing in front of the quick serve windows as I approached, I knew the chances of that happening were zero to none. I hurried behind the counter, grabbed a pen and an order pad and reluctantly
