Remember those trips to the store or the mall you took with your mom because you either wanted something or you had to go? Everywhere you went, there’s always that one family with that one child that does something to the extreme that embarrasses them to cause everyone in the store to look. They could be running around knocking things down, screaming to the top of their lungs because they couldn’t get what they wanted. Then you always have that one in the family that believes they are invisible and runs around the store with little to no clothes on. It’s funny at first because you know you would never do that at all. However, that is when you’re older and you don’t believe the stories your parents tell you. I, undoubtingly, fall into that category. Back in the early 2000s, my grandma, …show more content…
Now, this was back when the mall the fountains running in the middle of the mall and the Looney Toon store or Disney Store was across from it. I don’t really remember. Any who, my grandma stated that my cousin and I were to sit on the bench outside of the store she was in. While she was in there, my cousin and I were chatting and that’s when a stroke of pure genius hit me. As I was there pondering what I desired to do, I said, “Que, let’s play a game of truth or dare. She looked at me as if I was speaking another language. She responded by saying, “Niqua, we already got in trouble for messing with my mom’s belongings. My butt still has whelps from the belt, she used.” I just rolled my eyes and told her, “That’s because we didn’t plan on her arriving so early. She probably would’ve thought we ran away if she stayed away long enough.” She gave me a blank stare. She just took a deep breath and sighed. My poor beloved cousin didn’t know what she was getting herself into (Bless her heart.) Our little game went from little things as running to touch the fountain and back, to going up to random people, tapping them and sprinting off. After that we got tuckered out and rested by the
As I get out of the car, I hear a girl screaming in the distance. Hearing such a noise instantly made me feel a chill go down my spine. As I walk against my own fear, I approach an overwhelming sign that says “Welcome to Six Flags over Texas”. My mother looks at me with a huge smile, reassuring me that there is nothing to be afraid of. Being only 8 years old at the time, I was a very hyper and ecstatic kid. Going against my own fears, I timidly rushed to the entrance. As I stood there before this monstrosity of amusement, my jaw was on the floor with astonishment. Leaving me in a state of shock,I could only slowly walk in with aw, and marvel at what was before me.
My dad told us we could, but to make sure not to get lost. We said ok and went over to Six Flags Park. Asia was trying to force me to get on this big, gigantic roller coaster called The Batman. I told her she must be out of her mind. She said I was if I did not get on. Reluctantly, I said ok, but told her she was going to be the one paying for my funeral if I don’t make it! She told me to stop doubting myself and grow up already. When I finally got on to the ride I was like, “Oh heck no! Let me off!” The ride man told me I would be fine as he locked the bar into place. As the ride started and we began clicking up that first huge hill, I was like “Oh my God I’m really goanna die!” Then, I was like, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”, and, “AHHHHHH!” Then it was over I was like, “That was so awesome! We got to go again!” Asia said I told you so as we got back in line again. We went on to ride it a total of 7 times. After the 7th time we finally decided to do something different. We wanted to do the Mr. Freeze coaster, but there was a 60 min. wait. That was when we looked over and saw the Scooby Doo ride only had a 15 min. wait so we decided to ride it instead. The ride was a lot more fun than we thought it would be. We were all in these 4 passenger “Mystery Machines” that had lazertag guns and score counters. Asia and I competed to see who could get the highest score. Six Flags had a lot of other cool
My family and I traveled to Six Flags this summer for a family vacation. Six Flags is located outside of Atlanta,Georgia. While traveling to Six Flags we stopped at the Birmingham Zoo. when going down the Goliath,I panicked and started to scream. We rode another roller coaster and my fear became more magnified. We also rode the bumper cars and my brother ran into me. We didn't want to spend our summer patrolling the neighborhood on our scooters. We also went because we didn't work interfering with our family time. We wanted to go somewhere fun and exciting. While dinning at our vacation this summer we saw a chef chopping vegtables. The weekend we went to Six Flags qualified as a vacation. On our trip to Six Flags my brother interfered with
I don’t ever want to forget the day we went to Six Flags. In the morning I woke up my parents at 9:00 in the morning so we can get there early and get tickets. Next, I ask my friend if he can come and he said “Sure I’ll come”. So, when my friend was ready to go we left to Six Flags Great Adventure. In addition, when we got there we started off with the games. My friend and I were versing each other on different games. We also went into the haunted house. When we got bored we went on the roller coaster. We went on Superman, Green Lantern, and the Joker, and the most coolest part the Ferris Wheel! After that, we took a break and got back to the rides. Later, when we were tired out, we went home.
I'll never forget the first time I survived going to Six Flags. The wind blowing every time you pass a roller coaster coming your way, the screams of the children, the fear and anxiety before going into the cart, and the delicious smell of all the food! When I was little I HATED roller coasters I hated the feeling in my stomach I get when I go down, but as you know you grow out of fears sometimes and start liking new things as you get older. For me one of them was starting to like roller coasters.
When I was working at Target there were two mangers that I was to train and help if they needed it. The conflict was that they come in and changed everything in our stations. Which was uncomfortable due to that I had more experience and was working there longer. Nothing work well within the ream after that point.
Have you ever been scared of trying something new and exciting? Well, I once was. One summe day, my family decided to take a trip to Six Flags. This amusement park is full with thrill rides. I had never been on a roller coaster before. Not the ones with twenty stories high drops and speeds of fifty miles per hour.
Have you ever tried something new? Well I did one day at Kroger a few years ago. It felt funny, because no one else in my family but my dad would eat the food, and it was also a really weird food.
When I found out my aunt had breast cancer I was devastated because I thought of all of the things we used to do before she died. I remember when I was younger she would take care of me and my brother since my parents would be working or my mom would be at school. When me and my brother was younger she would drag my brother in the wagon and carry me in the wagon since I was smaller then my brother we would go up town and run erands with her we would go to the Piggly Wiggly so she can get groceries, To the drug store so she could get her medicine and the people that worked their would give us some candy everytime we went and we would go to Bonnies when it was open and get a cheese burger. When she would cook she would let me and my brother
There I was at 6 years old in a corner store with my 5 year old partner in crime cousin Alex. We put our bubble gum on the counter and paid for it with the money we took out of my aunt’s purse while she was in the shower. The cashier had asked where our parent was and instantly we lied and told her they were outside waiting for us. As my cousin and I were leaving the store chomping on our bubble gum like the big bad kids we were something froze us in our tracks. It was our aunt screaming our names: “JORDAN???!!!” “ALEX!!??” That’s when we both looked at each other and started sprinting back to my aunt’s house. As we approached her driveway where she was standing that’s when we realized we weren’t as big and bad as we thought. Our facial expression no doubt looked like we were waiting for the scary part to happen in a movie. Our aunt frantically asking where we went and who bought us the bubble gum, I had let my cousin Alex do all the talking. Boy, were we in trouble after she found out we stole her money and walked to the corner store without an adult. We
“All forces to Star Tours!” Pascal the head security guard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios yelled to his fellow authorized guards.
Just as a child who has come up in a family with lots of kids with parents who don't really pay attention to what they do the all of a sudden one day the mom starts putting them on punishment and fussing at them because she is just starting to notice how her kids are

A small amount of time after school got out for summer my family, Kyla Carson, and I went to Minnesota. It was a long, grueling , and 8 hour trip from Arthur to Minnesota. When we finally got there we could see the Mall of America, which was connected to our hotel. I looked forward to the amusement park, eating the food, and the shopping. From 7p.m. to 10p.m. the amusement park had free rides and games for the group we were in. I had an amazing time because I could do anything since it was free. The pizza we had one day was amazing. The shopping was the best since there was enough shops to choose from. The Mall of America had specialty shops including The Peeps Store, The Lego Store , many specialty chocolate store, and many more.
The first day of summer has just begun. That means that I get to work at the record shop all day with Sylvain! If it isn't apparent, I love Sylvain. The way his brown hair glows in the sun is spectacular, and his brown eyes shine like the stars at night. He can make any outfit look sophisticated. Oh, I have to stop thinking about him! I'm going to be late for work!
