At the resort there was a huge waterfall surrounding beautiful pool. We also had the opportunity to drive a 4 wheeler! Unfortunately the line was too long so I was unable to drive the 4wheeler(that may have been for the best). All in all after all the walking, hiking, and dancing we have done this week the day at the resort was well deserved. PS. Did I mention I fed a baby pig?! Con Amor, Nayo
We were pulling up at the parking lot of Knott's soak city it was so full. I was so exited. First we had to get our tickets. Second we had to find some chairs. Then we went to a pool called The wave cove. And every 5 minutes waves would hit. It was so fun to swim over them. After that we went to a big water slide that was 50 feet tall. My little cousin went on one that was 4 feet tall. Then we ate pizza and salad. Then we went to the Lazy river that took you around Knott's soak city.
The best trip I ever took was when my husband and I went to La Romana in the Dominican Republic. It was beautiful there.
First and foremost we went to a snorkaling and scuba diving park.We had to take a shuttle bus from our resort to get there it took about an hour. When we got there we had to buy our tickets and our equipment. There were lots of other thing you could do there like swimming, jumping off of cliffs into the ocean, or ride kayayks along with lots of other things. The snorkaling and scuba diving park was filled with fun.
The rest of the trip was very entertaining and I enjoyed the beach even more. The difference between the Pacific Coast and the Gulf Shore was completely different, but in a curious way. It expanded my horizons of the world we live in and what natural beauty it contains. It also taught me that having patience can give better results. Even though we had a long drive to get to our rental house, it was
I also wrote about "Once More to the Lake", but I enjoy long descriptive sentences. When you read your chosen sentence, did it give you a feeling or, bring you back to a moment in your past? When I read that sentence, it brings me back to laying on the beach smelling the the salty air and listening to the
So one of the best thing I have ever gotten to do is go to Six Flags. The one I got to go to is in Van Texas. It is a crazy amusement park that has the third fastest roller coaster in the country.I got to go with some people too. Me Anne Mae, Jack, Jonathan, Mason, Alison, Olle, Davis, and my mom. It is a very cool amusement park. My favorite part was the Mr. Freeze ride. Jonathan said, “Mr. Freeze was his favorite too”.
I have been in the now disturbing Quetico lake for the last 12 years of my life. I can’t take this. I have one way out, and that is to get someone in, trapped. I am captured in the deepest part of the Quetico lake, 300 feet below, I have gone mental. Around every month someone passes and I restrain myself from knocking, pleading for help. The only way I can get out is if I knock on a boat that passes and put them in my place. I never wanted too, for twelve years I haven’t. I know they will be trapped with a terrible way to escape. It will mess with their mind, but I could not take the pain of going insane. I was stuck...until now.
This summer was full of tons of fun activities and places! I went to Tennessee, Mackinac Island, the lake, and went camping. I also did other things like shopping, the fair, the movies, and cheer camp! Something very big that happened this summer is that I became a big sister! Even though becoming a big sister is very memorable, my favorite part of summer was going Mackinac Island and I have so many great memories there that I can’t wait to tell you about!
The thing that I miss most about summer is King's island. I had a pass so I could go when I wanted to and it was always a fun time. It is a good time to hang out with friends and go on rides. My favorite ride there is the beast because it isn’t too bumpy and it has a ton of sharp turns and caves. It also is slightly scary with all of the fake warning signs. The food at Kings Island is also decent so I wouldn’t have to go get lunch. If I get tired of the rides then I can go on the water rides and the wave pool. The water rides don’t usually have the longest of lines if you get there early but if not then they are worth it. My favorite overall is the Tropical Plunge. This ride has the drop shoot, You stand in a vertical tube and you wait for the countdown and the floor drops underneath your feet. You then shoot down the tube and you make it to the end. All of these factors make Kings Island a very fun place, and the thing that I miss the most from summer.
It was cool because we went to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, something that I remember is when we were at looking at the elephants we were walked by a rhino statue and it sprayed my sister with water. We didn’t know that was going to happen, come to find out there was a sign that said it sprays water. Also we went to the Broadmoor hotel it was so cool. One thing about that hotel is that there things are very expensive, a small candy was$20. I was like oh my goodness.
the rain falling , it was an amazing day. Also ,we went to the clear water beach , it was one of the
On September 1, 2012, I walked into my fifth grade teacher’s classroom for the first time in my life. Mrs.Cullen was standing in the front of the door with open arms ready to welcome her new fifth grade students. As I made my way to my desk and sat down next to Charlie Schutt and Quin Timmerman, I got the feeling that middle school would be a time of talking to some of my best friends and cruising through classes. As the school year progressed, and classroom seats changed, my thought of how Middle school would be changed as well. On the first day Mrs.Cullen explained our schedule, Homework detentions, and demerits. After about fifty questions, she sent us off to our first class, and the first step of our Middle School journey. The fifth grade
Majestic springs also had a saltwater swimming pool. My family and I went to the cabins and stayed four nights. My two cousins and I went swimming for hours ,while my brother and my father played pool. My mom and aunt went out to the hot tub with our grandma most of the time. My cousin and I are gamers so we also played the arcade game machines they had upstairs.
We did a great mass of marvelous things. One of the most amazing things we saw was Hogwarts, the school from Harry Potter. We drove back to the Briscoes’ house and stayed there for about four more days. The fun was not over. The next day we went to Clam Pass Beach in Naples. You would not believe how incredibly soft that sand was! It felt like I was walking on marshmallows! As I watched the sun sink into the ocean I spoke to myself, “This is the best vacation ever.”
But one of the coolest things there was when nightfall came. They would shine lights on the falls to make them look red or purple or blue. It looked amazing took so many pictures that my sim card was full. It was the best vacation I could imagine going to. Never would I ever thought my parents would take me to the Niagara Falls. We stood at a hotel for the weekend and my parents thought that it would be ugly or regular hotel. But it was amazing! Mirrors all around the room, two King Beds and a Jacuzzi ugh it was like heaven. The beds were so soft and cozy and warm. All I was thinking about its taking the best nap ever. But I was just so excited that I wanted to keep exploring Niagara Falls. My sister and I had left and enjoyed our night together, just the two of us.
