So i spent the night at my grandma and grandpas and in the morning we all woke up in the morning we all got in the van and all the kids including me took nap in back and when we got there we had to put camper up and take boat to ramp to get it to the campsite
When i went camping and i caught my first fish and i had my first marshmallow over the fire
And it was my first boat ride
And we all had fun as a family and when we were in Shelbyville we went to a circus and i had the best fish sandwich
And when we were sleeping at night we heard raccoons in our garbage and if you point laser at them they will freak out and run
And at the end of the camp trip we went back to my grandma and grandpas
Then we took a walk through Sievers, which is the woods on one side of camp. In the woods we looked for the lost cabin and were told the story about what the Indians did to the kids in the lost cabin. After that we went to supper, had cabin time, and got to know eachother better. Then we had campfire and my first ever serious Devos, which was amazing. The second day I wanted to wake up early to go do early morning clubs, but I was so tired that I fell back asleep. I was woken up again for breakfast later and went on to the rest of the day. The first full day of camp I swam during the entire freetime.
After me and my cousins were done setting up camp we were let to go roam around with our friends. Before you knew it, it was almost noon hour. It
And i met some friends there and i got to eat bacon potato and cheese little lettuce. After that we went to are grandma's house for a little bit then we went home next morning i got to
We started our trip on June 3. It was about 7:30 in the morning when we had to start packing our bags into the car. Well it was more like a bus. We had rented a huge Ford SUV/truck for the trip, since the were seven of us going on the trip. So me my two step sisters, my mom, my step-dad, and my grandma got into the car and left. We were meeting my uncle at the hotel in South Dakota. It was going to be a long trip, two and a half days.
When we go to the camp it was a little chilly, we then met our guides who were all our age and played some games to get to know each other. After that we were off to the wilderness for six days.
The first day was pretty great. There was many cabins. Six of my friends and I decided to stay in a cabin called “willow.” The cabin had bunk beds and it had a bathroom and shower which was great because my friends and I wouldn’t have to share bathrooms and shower with all of the people. At the introduction they were telling me about the rules of the camp and our expectations. Then we ate lunch and I liked the food there it was really good. Then the real fun began. My friends and I went swimming. When I was standing on the edge of the bridge one of my friends pushed me. I got him back by doing it to him too. Then my friend and I went canoeing and we were doing really great at not tipping over but then we did tip over and we all fell in. It
We found a very nice area and downloaded the 4wheeleres. We set up a tarp on top of the trailer with a BBQ grill. My dad and mom were dancing and we were having fun. My
When we got there we went to go set up the campsite then we went to go relax on the beach. This is the people that went my mom, my dad, my grandparents, my brother, my dogs, and my friends and my brother’s friends Jasmine, Silence, Addison, and Noah. We played in the ocean for three hours then in the sand. Then it is almost ten O’clock so we had to go to bed. Before we made s’mores then went to bed.
It was the afternoon, i was in my room playing a game on my phone. Then all a sudden my mom opened the door and said “ We're going camping with your cousins, uncle, and Your aunt.
The first time I went to camp. My grandpap has a hunting camp in Clearfield and took my cousins and I up there for the weekend. It was the funniest weekend I’ve ever had, we went went turkey hunting one day, and fishing the next day. It was a good guys weekend. Every night we would have a fire and cook on it. We would cook wings, pizza, steak and fish. The fish was my favorite. The worst thing about camp is the beds are in the same room so when we go to bed I could hear my pap snoring so I didn’t get that much sleep. Every morning I would wake up too a very good smell of breakfast cooking and I would go out and eat and wait till everyone got up. Then when everyone was up we would go in the woods and squarl hunt until lunch time. When it was
It was beginning to get a little late out so we decided to eat some food that my mom had prepared for us. We ate and hung out on the boat for a little while until finally i decided to jump back in, and my friends joined me.
Ever get the chance to put together your own outfit for the day? Well, I mean literally have you ever had to sew together your outfit? If not, well let me start it off with “WOW!”, grandma's work isn’t as easy as it seems. Not only did i learn how difficult it is to sew, but i had the chance to be able to express my funny side. This week i chose as one of my portfolios a unique project, where i sewed together my outfit. At first, i envisioned it being a joke, since i would never wear it personally, but I saw the fun and good vibes it would bring to the classroom atmosphere. We started off with the simple idea of creating one of the outfits used by one of the boys in the movie, The Sound of Music. First, we had to sketch out a drawing of the outfit to get an
Running on little sleep, the next morning I was dropped off at the bus stop. It was Monday, the first day of camp. I sat next to my best friend Kayli, but didn't tell her much. I pretended like everything was normal. That's what mom wants, right? The next few days were filled with: new friends, camp fires, and crafts, but mostly fearing going back to my new home.
This summer I went camping with my grandparents at hungry horse campground for a month.
It was a Monday night; I remember it like it was yesterday. I had just completed my review of Office Administration in preparation for my final exams. As part of my leisure time, I decided to watch my favorite reality television show, “I love New York,” when the telephone rang. I immediately felt my stomach dropped. The feeling was similar to watching a horror movie reaching its climax. The intensity was swirling in my stomach as if it were the home for the butterflies. My hands began to sweat and I got very nervous. I could not figure out for the life of me why these feelings came around. I lay there on the couch, confused and still, while the rings continued. My dearest mother decided to answer this eerie phone call. As she
