On 3/22/2018, I was dispatched and responded to 4624 Harborpointe Drive reference to a non-breathing subject. I arrived to the scene along with the rescue personnel of Port Richey Fire Department engine #42 and Pasco County rescue 211-B (reference to run #18016582). This residence is a 3 story single family home. Upon entry to the residence I was advised by the decedent’s husband (Ronald Dudley) that he was speaking with his wife this morning in their bed on the 3rd floor of the residence. Ronald stated that his wife was talking to him about the “beautiful air” because of the nice weather and leaving the residences windows open. Ronald advised that his wife/ the decedent (Constance Ann Dudley) gasped for air and stopped breathing. Ronald advised that 911 was called at which time he was informed to place the decedent on the floor to begin CPR which he complied. The decedent was lying on a sheet which was also covering her body. The decedent was not wearing any clothing with the exception of a black sock on her left foot. The decedent’s body was warm to the touch and rigor mortis has not set in. Lividity throughout the decedents back, legs, and arms appeared to be consistent with the decedent’s current position. I observed a bandage on the decedent’s right leg. The decedents husband advised that she was having a on and off problem with her leg. There were no signs of trauma or suspicious abrasions/ lesions to the decedent’s body. On 1/22/2015 SO EMT Perez was dispatched to FC-117 via phone call from a resident regaurding a fall . SO EMT Perez kocked and announced his presence at the apartment door. SO EMT Perez was the verbally greeted into the apartment. SO EMT Perez the unsecured the apartment door and proceeded to search the apartment. SO EMT Perez eventually found the resident, a Mr.David Furman on his bedroom floor by his bedside. Mr. David Furman slid out of his bed and was unable to get up on his own strength. SO EMT Perez asked Mr. Furman if he was in any pain, which he denied. Mr. Furman also did not present with any pain while SO EMT Perez preformed the pelvic exam. On 7/19/2015 S/O EMT Perez was dispatched to FC-504 regarding a fallen male resident/Water leak. S/O EMT Perez knocked and announced his presence at the door and was greeted by the spouse of the fallen resident in question. S/O EMT Perez was then introduced to Mr. Jerome Bluestein who was up and walking in the apartment with the assistance of his walker without any complain of pain nor was he grimacing in anyway. Mr. and Mrs. Bluestien stated that Mr. Bluestien sat down to use the toilet when the tank broke and started expelling water. Mr. Bluestien did not complain of any pain and denied any care, after insuring Mr. Bluestien was no injured in anyway S/O EMT Perez turned his attention to the leak in the bathroom. I arrived at 5:20pm and spoke to Paul Summers with Creek County EMS and advised the time of death was 5:08pm. I found Wilbert H Goodman deceased in the bedroom floor. I did not see any signs of trama or foul play. I spoke to Norma Goodman who is Wilbert's wife who was with Wilbert at the time he passed. Norma stated Wilbert had radiation done today and was not feeling well. Norma stated her daughter Wilberta Witty was also with her. Norma stated she and Wilberta helped Wilbert to the bathroom. Norma stated while Wilbert was using the bathroom he passed out and slumped over on the toliet. Norma stated they could not get Wilbert off the toliet at first and finally moved him to the bedroom floor. Norma stated she called 911 and EMS arrived at 5:00pm and pronounced time of death at 5:08pm. Wilbert had sevral medical issues at the time of his death. Wilbert had heart failure, skin cancer, diabetic and lung issues. Wilbert was going to weekly chemo and radiation therapy for his cancer.
Dispatch alerted Central Pd. Officer C. M. Early about a white male 25 years old with a gunshot to the chest and abdomen. Officer Early arrived on the scene at 0630. Officer Early talked to the witness, Custodial staff Jody de Cleaner, who said that he heard popping sounds at 0620 and decided to walk over where he found the body. The EMS arrived shortly after at 0650 to transport the victim to the hospital. Ten minutes after the EMS arrived I arrived at the crime scene.
On 1/16/17 at 0225 hours my partner, Officer Thebeau #8402, and I were working patrol assigned to unit 3A11. We responded to a radio call of “shots fired” in the area of 814 N. Garfield Ave. The comments of the call stated, a 19 year old female was shot in the hand.
Medic 1 was dispatched by 911 to 1234 Main St for a possible code blue for a 5 year old Male. Fire Dept was on scene as this was the location of a structure fire. Along with Fire Dept the local first responders was on scene. The first responders arrived on scene and requested ALS from dispatch. Medic 1 arrived on scene to find a child lying supine across the street from where the fire was located. There was four to five fire firefighters located around the patient assisting first responders. As Medic 1 arrived on scene was was given a history on the patient from first responders. Upon my arrival, I noticed a black male lying in the street unconscious. I then checked the victim’s vital signs to make sure he was still breathing. I then proceeded to dispatch for EMS to come to my location.
I knocked on the door and there was no answer. I opened the door and went inside of the apartment. While clearing the apartment I saw a male laying down in the floor of the room. There was blood on the bed, floor, and wall near the male. I cleared the rest of the apartment and called Lt. Roof #1525 and advised him of the situation.
I responded to 4198 AL HWY 87 in reference to a suspicious circumstance call. Upon arrival, I made contact with Gilbretta Thompson walking in the grass heading towards Troy on US 87. Dispatch advised that the subject had mental issues and possibly under the influence of drugs. I then attempted to get out the vehicle and make contact with Gilbretta, but she kept walking. I then notified Sgt. Wingard and he came out to the scene. Upon Sgt. Wingard arriving, Gilbretta was walking in the roadway. Myself, Sgt Wingard and Off. Irsik then pushed the subject on the ground to prevent Gilbretta from getting hurt by on coming vehicles. Gilbretta was then escorted back to her residence. At the residence, Gilbretta did advise that she was going to kill herself. East Central Mental Health was notified and Haynes ambulance came out to check Gilbretta out.
On May 21st at 0715 EST, Assistant Security Supervisor Sterling Carpenter and Security Officer were posted at 1025 Thomas Jefferson st NW, when S/O Davis stated that she was feeling numb and mild pain in her chest.A/S Carpenter asked S/O Davis would should be able to finish her schedule shift, S/O Davis responded she strongly doubt it. At 0718 EST A/S Carpenter called Global Operations Center , Operator Amanda Bennett received the call. A/S Carpenter stated that S/O Davis wanted to driver herself to the local hospital, GOC declined that option, and instructed A/S Carpenter to call 911 and request medical crew. On September 30, 2015 at 8:25, a 911 caller, identified as Mr. Kenneth Ross/Witness #1, reported he found the body of a black male lying face down in the park near his home with blood all around him and he appeared to be deceased. Witness #1 reported the body was located in Woodbury Park adjacent to Wilson Drive in the Pineview neighborhood. The body was near a park bench on the west side of the park. Dispatched at 8:30 a.m., I arrived on scene at 8:45 a.m. and immediately initiated my field notes, began cordon procedures, initiated searching and identifying evidence, identifying possible witnesses and notified the dispatcher to contact the city coroner and have them respond.
After gaining control of the burning structure, fire officials found a deceased human body, appearing to be that of a female, on the first floor of the residence and the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Homicide Unit was notified. Upon further investigation, fire personnel found the remains of a deceased male under rubble and debris. The female remains were later identified as 59-year-old Diana Knight and an autopsy found severe head trauma from a gunshot wound as her cause of death.
