The Ohio travel cup our soccer team is 2-0 in it. We beat Lagrange 3-1 and Twinsburg 3-2. We were about to play the hardest game of our lives. Belpre from south east ohio they haven’t let up a goal yet and are 2-0 like us. All we needed was one win and we are in the finals. They had the best offence and defence and can pass around any team like there's no tomorrow. We walk up to the field feeling different. We knew we were going to need to adapt to their play style. The game started the players just out worked our team. They were faster and stronger. They go around us like we were a leaf against the wind we had no chance. They scored again and again. It was now 4-0, 1 min left in the first half we couldn’t do anything against this first-class
Every time school starts I am always looking forward to soccer season because that’s what I love doing the most and what i focus on. When soccer tryouts come up I am always ready also I am always prepared to give it my all to go out there and impress the coaches and let them know how much it means to me to join the team and how bad I want to play. There is two days of soccer tryouts and I attend both days because is very important for me to make the soccer team. I went to day one of soccer tryouts and I was trying my best to get attention from the coaches that were watching but then I felt like I didn’t give it my all, I felt disappointed because I know I could do better, at this point I was worried and stressed out but I never planned on giving up. I told myself that I was going to do better the next day.
My freshman year I made the Varsity soccer team. Every practice I had to strive and work harder to be able to keep up with the upperclassmen skill level and talent. I was finally getting to where I wanted with consistent practice. I became a starter and the upperclassmen would pass me the ball more and help me on the field when there were opponents on me. It wasn’t until the middle of the season when everything changed. We were playing against a school who was very skilled and talented. It was in the first half of the game when one of the girls on the opposing team had the ball and was dribbling it down the field. It got past our midfield players and two defenders. I was the last one before it reached our goalie. I ran towards her and with everything I had I kicked the ball.
In July 2013, my grandma asked me did I want to play another football season. I replied, yes, so she signed me up to play football for the Carson Colts. I was on the Carson Colts, a Junior Peewee division team. It was a challenge. I wanted to stay with my teammates, but that meant losing 30 pounds.
I used to believe that soccer was, well, just soccer. I'd play for my rec team, in which would consist of one practice and one game a week. Nothing special, and not too stressful. After I got tired of rec soccer, I joined a travel team. To be specific it was the Mahwah Raiders. It was a step up from rec, I now had two practices and one game a week. This wasn't too crazy for me- I was fine with the timing and schedule of everything.
It has been three days since the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards began and I'm still surviving behind the facade. I created this entity because I wasn't comfortable with new people or breaking of my comfort zone. I have never been away from home and surrounded by 99 strangers before. To other campers, I'm sassy and love the Kardashians. I would crack jokes and try to get by. Behind the facade, I was frightened and refused to leave my comfort zone. I refused to utilize the opportunity. I just wanted to get the camp over with. I never fit in with straight guys so I never bothered to interact with the guys. The girls loved the facade and at that point, I did as well. It was the only thing that kept me safe and made me feel strong. On the fourth
My heart pounding in my chest, my hands shaking, as goose bumps devour my body. I get the ball and I fall to the ground, landing flat on my back as I try to pass the ball to another person. I hear roars of laughter as I see my leg straight in the air and the ball on the ground next to me. I look over at the Coach as he frowns at me and looks away. I start to roll off the field. I hear the siren as I start to limp home with my hand on my back. I try to run the rest of the way, but my leg won't budge so I limped.
Starts In the morning I step out of my car and it is pitch dark and eerie quiet, it's early morning the day after a tragic football game and everyone is tired and anticipating the meet ahead. We all sat mumming with each other and feeling comptable. When I hear the push, hum of the school bus arriving up the drive. Everyone is ready just to get on the bus to sleep. When on the bus I can't get to sleep because I'm sharing my seat with a girl and the bus driver doesn't stop talking. We show up at the meet and i'm waiting for the tent to be put up so I can lay my bag down. My shoulder was aching and the grass was scratching my leg. During the warm up I was thrilled because two male teammates decided to run with us. They both smelt magnificent.
Hey Mohawks! This past Thursday was senior night for soccer. I would of never imagined it coming so fast, it seems like the season started last week. Words cannot describe how sad I am that I only have a few more games left. As we closed out our season Tuesday we are looking forward to the post season. We are hoping to upset Valley View next Monday. We faced them earlier in the season and the results were not what we wanted. I am confident that we can come out this time ready for what they are going to throw at us. I hope everyone has a good weekend and thanks for

It was my third time trying out for middle school soccer. I felt strong, fit and ready
I was walking down the field on the soaked soccer pitch towards my team. I saw that they were already stretching,
About 10 minutes later, after I had had enough of the roudey celebration, I decided to head home. I limped slightly as I walked out the door of the locker room into the night.
i am a soccer player I wonder if I make a goal I hear the crowd cheering I see my friends cheering I want to win the game I am a soccer player
My hands were sweating, my feet were tapping , and my heart was throbbing all because of this one game. It was a Tuesday afternoon in route to my baseball game. The team and I were all in the bus talking about their predictions for our upcoming game. Not one person predicted us to win, all of us knew Newark Catholic was really good and we figured we didn’t have shot. We were a mediocre team preparing to play an excellent team, the odds were definitely against us. On the way to every away game, our team does each other’s eye black. Once we got done with each other’s eye black I sat back in my seat and kept to myself the rest of the way. All I could think about was about how good I was going to do and if I would prove myself to everyone. I finally
People have lots of different passions, my is soccer. My passion came from watching soccer (specifically the world cup) and playing soccer. When I was little I watched the world cup at my grandmas house, I walked into the living room and my family was watching the world cup. I asked my dad if he can change the channel to sponge bob. He said no so he sat me down me right next to him, and by watching the game it became my passion. Then my mom signed me up for a soccer team but I wasn’t that good. I’m passionate about soccer for lots of reasons. One being, when I step onto the field everything goes away. All the worries about doing my homework, reading 60 minutes everyday, taking out the trash, washing the dishes, making my bed, everything, it
