Imagine this, there is a gazelle and a Cheetah, what would happen if you cut off the horns of the gazelle? Would the Cheetah not come and attack the gazelle because it’s “Too Easy”. No, it would just be easier for the Cheetah to get its prey/ gazelle. The innocent gazelle will get slaughtered by this ruthless Cheetah This is the same with the Gun Control issue. If you take away the guns what will you do to protect your family, when there is a ruthless killer similar to the fierce Cheetah? Guns may hurt others but as well can protect others. Learning about pop culture truly frightened me when I saw the book we were utilizing at the beginning of the semester. Having been without television for more than 10 years now, I suspected I wouldn’t know much. Being a single parent amid this time gave me an opportunity to see this present era progress through the technological advances of our time, and interestingly, my age placed me in pop culture arena’s that the more youthful era doesn’t even think about. While many people believe there should be more gun control and the possibility of banning guns all together, I believe the gun control laws should not be changed. Although there are many reasons that may persuade people to choose to ban guns, I believe that there are several other reasons that lead to all the tragedies with guns in America. Banning guns is not an answer the gun problem in America, there are a few other things that could be done to stop gun violence. In this essay I will tell about why I believe gun control laws should not be changed.

The topic that I have chosen to write about is should there be more gun control laws be enacted. What does gun control do you may ask? Gun control is any kind of firearm that is bought or sold. I didn’t believe in aliens until I was abducted by them. I was put in some kind of contraption and I’m not sure what happened exactly, but it’s clear that I’m not where I was. In this life everyone in the world has opportunities, especially people from United States. In this country everyone is able to find financial help, either from the government or organizations, for education (Scholarships, FAFSA), and for health (Obama care, financial assistance). Sadly, some people are lazy or they just can’t get the help.

Writing is a miracle itself. Believing in miracles can make you a proponent of the second chance in life. Following your dream is life long pursuit of one’s purpose. Sometimes winds of destiny are inflating your sails; sometimes you hit a rough spot in the ocean. The drawbacks are good chance for reflection and readjusting. As a first generation immigrant I had the opportunity to witness myself the land of Opportunities and experience the concept of an American dream first hand. Deciding to come and live in the United States and leaving my whole family behind has been hardiest decision that I have made in my life so far. The doubt that this doubts about that decision has chasing me as a bad dream since the day I have arrived in the United States.

Guns have always been a major problem in the United States of America. The Second Amendment to the Constitution gives us the right to “bear arms,” which makes everyone feel they need to have a gun, and that can lead to dangerous situations for people in the US. It is very easy to get yourself a gun. It costs less than an iPhone to get. The problem I am trying to get at is that there are inevitably going to be  gun-use violations, and people can use the Second Amendment to get guns way too easily. My essay will deal with how we can create laws and practices to regulate guns, how we can stop guns from getting into the wrong hands, and also how we can prevent mass shootings.

That’s basically all I could understand as I left the immigration center. People all around me were talking in languages I had only studied in textbooks, which barely helped. That was the first time I could really look around and see where I was. The sound of car engines roared in my ears as I walked across the street; people squashed into a small bus while chattering in a garbled language that made no sense.
