Personal Narrative: Turkish As One Of The Ottoman Turks

I as one of the Ottoman Turks with a cross bow on a boat. I smell the strong stench of blood and sweat from the soldiers. I also smell the sea, the faint metallic smell of our artillery, and more bodily odors such as. I see the heavily fortified walls of Constantinople with ladders being put on into it. I see the pain and sadness on the soldiers as they or their friends die. I see Turkish and Byzantine lifeless bodies in various places in unusual positions. I can hear the screams and cries of pain that we have caused. I hear the sounds of all the weapons cutting through the wind, the clinking of armor, the cries of the horses, and the booms of heavy artillery as well. I only feel my cross bow as I try to kill as many Byzantines as possible
