Personal Narrative: Walt Disney World

On October 28th, 2017 my mother said “here” and gave me $30. “What’s this for?” I asked. “$10 is for lunch and the other $20 is for you to go to Six Flags with your friends (Keion Flenoid, Kamaurion Stokes, and Kelly Dang.) after your chess tournament.” The next morning, my mother took me to my chess tournament where me and my team (Gateway Middle Chess club) placed fourth in the tournament.

One summer, my friends thought it would be a great idea to go to Six Flags. Me, I thought it was a dreadful idea. I don’t like rollercoasters at all, so I found no point in wanting to go. But, they insisted I go with the group for fun. So, here I was, scared of rollercoasters and on my way to Six Flags. Go figure.

lunging 230 ft., my legs about to snap from the opposing force of gravity I ask myself why. Why did I ride this moronic ride? Six Flags, a place where the aroma of waffle cones or turkey legs, the size of small children, waver through the blacktop roads. A place where kids of many ages run around with overpriced capes and teen employees know nothing about roller coasters and how they operate.

I would like to go is Disney because i can sing and dance, meet characters, and ride rides. Disney World is known as “the most magical place in the world”. It is a really fun place to go for a vacation.

Remember those trips to the store or the mall you took with your mom because you either wanted something or you had to go? Everywhere you went, there’s always that one family with that one child that does something to the extreme that embarrasses them to cause everyone in the store to look. They could be running around knocking things down, screaming to the top of their lungs because they couldn’t get what they wanted. Then you always have that one in the family that believes they are invisible and runs around the store with little to no clothes on. It’s funny at first because you know you would never do that at all. However, that is when you’re older and you don’t believe the stories your parents tell you. I, undoubtingly, fall into that category.

Disney World is known as the most magical place on earth, and not just because of their fairy tales. It is really the most magical place on earth and is worth the cost to visit. It is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity.

In the United States exist many environments or areas deemed as a comfort zone or a special place for an individual to settle down and have the best experiences. One place that I would be content at would be Disney World; in my perspective, Disney World is a monumental place to me and I enjoy the memories created there. Thrills from roller coaster rides, the scent of popcorn or salted pretzels, the familiar costumes of our favorite Disney characters and the love of family and friends enjoying their time. Disney World is a kid’s wonderland for those who enjoyed the shows and movies developed by the company. Six years old, I could remember the first traveling to Disney World; I remember getting all the autographs from my Buzz Lightyear, Woody,

Disney is truly the happiest place on earth. Every kid wants to go,but does every kid get to go? I'm going and i can't fully wrap my head around the idea that on September 15th-I'll see Mickey Mouse and all the marvels of Disney!

Experiencing this roller coaster ride with y It has been a light and dark situation but all in all a very good learning experience for the both of us in learning one’s self. At the end of the day what is truth is the love that we share together and bringing us out of the darkness and into the light it has been a very trying situation sometimes I wondered if we would ever come out of this darkness. But then the light comes on and we understand why we go through what we go through together. We feel a sigh of relief with understanding. As for giving me that disconnection because without it I wouldn’t be saying this on paper. So here I am preparing myself for what I do best with the help and love from Larry.

It was amazing, we didn't go on the many rides but the ride that I remember most was going on space mountain. It was so fun, we got whipped around corners so fast it felt like we were gonna fall off the track, and the ride was pitch dark besides the little lights placed to make it look like you're in a tunnel. Most of the time we walked around, and we watched the parade. On the second day we went to animal kingdom, it was so cool. In animal kingdom there are different sections that are different countries so it was kinda confusing but still fun. I liked how every country had different food related to that country. We went on the safari and I got lot of photos of the animals. The funnest part of animal kingdom was going on mount everest. I had never been on a roller coaster that big, I was really scared but once it started going it was so much fun. Bailey on the other hand hated the ride, at one part it goes backwards really fast and she couldn't breathe, so after that ride she was scared of roller coasters for a while, but she got over it eventually. On the third day my grandpa wasn't feeling good so he stayed at the hotel and had to miss the best park, epcot. When we first got to epcot we went to the coral reef restaurant, It was so good. It was also really cool that you got to watch the fish and sharks while you ate. Even though there went any seats available near the aquarium, it was still really good. Our waiter was very nice too, we offered to make us a smoothie that wasn't even on the menu, which were so good I can't even describe it. After we went to go on the rides at epcot so me and bailey went on mission earth, which was a ride that you had to go to the moon in a spaceship but you got to steer the ship. After we got off the ride my grandma felt sick and we had to go back to the hotel sadly. Unfortunately the fourth day was our last day, so we just hung around in the hotel till we

As I walk up to my door getting home from a long walk through the park, I hear the faint sound of my telephone ringing. I unlock my door and quickly rush in. I set down my bag and pick up the phone.

Disney World is a excitement someplace you want to be. I get on the plane with butterfly's in my stomach just thinking of what there could be. The moment you arrive your like a child at a park, many different sites to see and explore. I'm here I'm here! Walk into the place I'm staying and already can't wait to wake up in the morning. Bright and early the sun has not barely woken up and it's time to go to Disney World. Disney World is a present it’s a privilege to be here.

​It seemed as though years passed to get to that fateful day, but alas, we were finally on our way to Disney World. Unfortunately, if waiting to depart to dreamland was bad, then the trip was easily horrific. My little brother was only two at the time, and made it his mission to make my ride to fantasyland

Finally the day has came, ever since I was born I have dreamed of going to Disneyland. Tomorrow my mom, dad (Bob), sister (Emily) and I are leaving to go there. (THE NEXT DAY!) ¨YAYYYY!” I shouted . (2 HOURS LATER) It was everything I had ever dreamed of. Except there was this sign in the front before we checked in. It read: RULES; 1. NEVER feed the animals. 2. Listen to the instructors, and most importantly DON´T stay all day and night, pick one . What I thought of the rules, well first of all rule one is probably so they don don't get spoiled. Number too is so they don't have bratts running everywhere. Thirdly rule three is probably so you don't get heat stroke.(We Walked In) O M G ! It was everything I have ever dreamed of. Better than any picture I have ever seen, or movie I have ever watched!! The lights were as sparkly as dancing stars, the music was was like all the happiness combine. The air smelled of magic, and most of all… The rides were between scary, cute, and funny! This day might just be the best day of my entire life! I know the rules said not to stay all day, but again it is probably just so you don't get heat stroke or something. We played on all day and went on almost every ride. I know the sun was setting and it was getting dark, but I had to go on the ride that we skipped. It was the haunted house ride, I was terrified and always have been terrified of that ride. If you ever find yourself in the Orlando area, you should go check out this fun theme park. The theme park has four parks that are called the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot. At these parks there is so much to see, hear, smell, taste and feel. If you go here, this will be an experience you will cherish forever. Disney World is a place that I will never forget because I have had many fantastic memories there.
