Personal Narrative: When Jack Recovered Into A Statue

As is true with most forms of creative expression, art is inherently subjective; the written medium is no exception to this rule. Despite this subjectivity, certain aspects of writing hold objective worth. Literary merit refers to the characteristics which determine higher quality writing and, by doing so, serves as a differentiator meant to apply objectivity to a traditionally subjective topic. Such an approach can be extended to distinguish the value of two popular short stories, "The Most Dangerous Game" and "Hunters in the Snow." Whereas Richard Connell's "The Most Dangerous Game" delivers a formulaic example of consumer-driven commercial fiction, American author Tobias Wolff provides a stunning illustration of precisely how literary merit manifests itself in the written form with his short story, "Hunters in the Snow." By comparing the character relationships, story progression, and moral statements of the two pieces, it becomes apparent that "Hunters in the Snow" is a far superior representation of literary fiction than "The Most Dangerous Game."

His father got hurt by a car, the little brown bear was thirsty so he started searching for water to drink, he found a lake the water was dark but he was thirsty so he drank the dark water, he started to feel woozy he falls to the ground. his sister was looking for him.

“Good evening”, Cameron Joy Gaspord said to Resident A as she delivers their freshest made dinner to them.  This is a part of Cameron’s job; however, to Cameron, it is far more than a job. Cameron’s first day at Grace Point, over a year and a half ago, she was unsure of her job. Now a year and a half later Cameron knows every tiny detail from the seating chart to all the residents' names. Due to state laws, Cameron is not allowed to share the name of residents or any health complication.

The village people were begging to give up all hope, but suddenly someone spotted two people in the abandoned castle. The village people quickly ran up to the mountain to the castle. Once they got there, the broke in to the castle and they ran up stairs and as soon as they got there they were shocked to find 2 little girls standing

Kavi and Timmy were playing in the back yard while Kavi dad David was cutting wood to make fire Timmy asked his friend dad if they can go to the forest but he said sorry I cannot let go to forest by yourself so Timmy said he will look after Kavi but dad said it is getting darker they will bears going hunting food but Timmy convinced dad to let them go to the forest they both went to the

There was a boy that lived in a small town. He had no family and did not go to school, he lived in a house alone and had only one friend, she had never seen his face and would leave home at 5 p.m. To bring him food and talk to him every day. He doesn’t go outside because whenever he went outside, he would see a shadowy creature that would follow him everywhere, so from that point on he just stayed home. One day the girl didn’t come, so he got worried and went outside to find her when he went outside, he saw the girl but the girl was screaming in fear

Today Jacky is going to go to visit her grandpa at the cemetery.It’s dark outside. She decides to go visit her grandpa because she was bored at her house so she goes.When she enters the cemetery she hears noise,but there isn’t anybody at the cemetery except herself. Jacky gets scared! She tries to leave but the gate won’t open she climbed the fence and something pulls her back.Jacky immediately takes out her phone to call her mom. When she calls her mom her phone beeps and it says that she doesn’t have signal so she’s crewed! A guy named Carl is chasing her around he is trying to kill her. Carl is the one he who pulled Jacky back.

I always thought it would be so cool to break a bone, but honestly… It sucks! You can't do anything, like hit a ball around, carry something big, do a backflip, ect!

The next few moments were a blur for me. I remember little until the Paramedics arrive. During my forgotten moments, Dad said he experienced an out of body moment. He told his story several times in the following days. As he crumbled, he felt a raw flame of pain sapping his chest.

In our society is that the color of our skin, the cloth we wear on or off the job and the lack of not knowing can send off all types of alarms in our head. For example empty parking lot, an African American Woman walking to her car and she hears and fears the footsteps that are closing in on her. She looks back and it is a Caucasian man dressed unprofessionally and she does not recognize him. She calls security and they rush to her aid. They check the males ID, and it was a new intern they hired while she was out on vacation. He is upset because he feels like his color was the issue; she is beside herself and thought the issue would just go away, but it did not, and affected her whole organization. The story of Jack and Hope is kind of like this and this learner will try to analyze this case.

A poor woodcutter and his wife had two children named Hansel and Gretel. Their mother died when they were young. Hansel and Gretel were very sad. Soon their father remarried, but their stepmother was very cruel. Finally, these two kids decided to run away and they found a house in the forest. Unfortunately, they were tricked by a witch who later on caught and tortured them.

First, when the story begins they get caught in a blizzard and they have to go to a old barn until the blizzard passes. A man shows up and leaves his wife and daughter in the car while he looks in the barn for help. Then, they go back and they were not in the car so they all started following their footprints and tracking them down to see where they were. They found the little girl but they realized she had no footprints and they realized she was bit and she turned into a vampire. She asked for a hug and a kiss but they couldn’t because she would bite them. She left her there and they took off and they were thinking how she would be 7 years old for eternity. “There’s a little girl out there somewhere. And I think she is still waiting for her

A thunder clap sent floorboards shaking, The house heaved back, violently aching, Candle flame sent shadows lunging, My stomach started deeply plunging. I tried to keep my teeth from chatter, As the windows tempted shatter, Held my blankets to my chin, Tried to keep above the dinner.

The scene has two snowmen at the entrance to the covered bridge. It fills your heart with warmth and holiday spirit just to look at it.
