I was with my mom, and I wasn’t in school, yet I just got done with working at the fair. I spent a night at my mother’s house so that I can spend some time with her. When I woke up the next morning, I thought to myself y don’t I take my mom out to eat. So I got up from my bed and went to her room. Knocking on her door, I ask her if she wanted to spend a day with me. She got up and opened the door telling me that she would love to. I want into my room and found some clothes to wear, finding something cute I want to her room and got into her shower. Getting out of the shower getting dressed I asked her if she was about to get in the shower, she yelled out “YES.” When she is done showering, she came out to the front room and told
Most people are all grown up when they finally figure out what they want to do with their life. I was 4. I realized what I wanted to be when I attended my very first Rodeo. Even though it was so long ago I can remember that day like it was yesturday. That day got me on the path to my future.
It was a cold and dark night in October when my friend and I took a trip to Fright Fest at Six Flags. Ahh!! Screams were all I heard when I approached the park. So, when I went into the park I was really nervous that a monster would pop right at me. When we got in the park I heard a chainsaw right next to me, I screamed really loud that I almost blew my friend’s ear drums out.
Me, Ava, Korryn, Ali, Olyvia, Bailey, and Sophie were on the way to valley fair. The loud and crowded car ride was filled with music, laughter and Sophie screaming! We got some drinks and snacks along the way and played pranks on the people that our nanny Bailey went to highschool with. About 2 hours later we were there and waiting in line to get wristbands. When we finally got our wristbands we walked in the gates of Valley Fair.
My alarm went off at 6:30 I clicked snooze and got off the couch and went upstairs to the bed and laid back down. Then I plugged my phone up into my charger and set my alarm for 7:25 and went back to sleep. When it went off again to wake me up and I got up and went straight to my mom to remind her that I'm going out of town for the weekend and she asked me about everything again to make sure everything was okay and reminded me about my orthodontist appointment. So, I ran my shower picked out my outfit for the day and then jumped in the shower, then when I got out my momma was asking me where her phone was. I said it was on the bed, she said no it was not and then I called her phone and walked out to the ironing board. That's when she found it and I asked for my card once again and she gave it to me and said don’t spend all your money now.
After a long period, the advertisers make their advertisements’s implication desalting so that the audiences become easier to accept. But the viewers still feel the goods and brand information and accept the advertising stimulation. Especially, this method efficiently works in the medical commercials. In the Humira commercial called “ A Day at the Fair” , there is a pretty youthful blond female at a fair to talk about her Ulcerative Colitis( UC ) and everything in her daily life which cause it to fortuitously flare-up. Before she talked to her doctor, she thinks that all the anguish from UC flareup is normal. After using Humira, the young woman restarts to have a care-free day and be free of her issues caused by Ulcerative Colitis. Since Humira need to put all the information about the brand, the product and the UC to attract people and help them easily understand , the commercial primarily employs both iconic and indexical sign (mode) to represent the symptoms and inconvenience of owning Ulcerative Colitis via indirectly showing what they are, at the same time, the use of different arrangements connotes the meanings and emotions linked with the conditions, to express that using Humira to treat the Ulcerative Colitis will never go wrong for people who are worry about the UC.
For me, the most exciting time of the year comes in late August. It is the Middlesex County 4-H Fair, in which I give not so much my weekend, but my life. As the title implies, the fair is put on by the 4-H organization. This youth organization uses agricultural education and community service to teach important life lessons. I joined 4-H when I was eleven years old and it continues to change my life. I have learned communication, leadership, and even my love for education through the wonderful programs and dedicated volunteers.
When I woke up a walk down stairs and I was wondering where my mom was because we are supposed to go to 6 flags today. I was so excited I couldn't wait. Then I ran up to my mom's room and there she is sleeping in her bed. I yelled WAKE UP we are supposed to go to 6 flags today. She said oh I forgot then we both jumped in the shower before we left. Then we were on our way to 6 flags. We left at 8:00am so she said we would be there at 10:00am. ZOOM!!! the car went by us in a flash. We barely saw it. Then my mom gave me a large box when we stopped at kwik trip. She said I couldn't open it till tomorrow. Then we got back on the road. I was listening to the music for most of the ride. Then there it was my favorite song was on. I told my mom to crank it up.

Last Friday, I went to the Career Fair and there were eleven organizations. Out of the eleven organizations, I only went up to three organizations because I was more interested in their companies.
Have you ever seen the starry night sky dance? How about seeing a dark sky filled with stunning lights, hearty laughs, echoes of indulgences or the bellowing songs of the drunken people? Can you imagine a starry night sky of radiant ribbons streaming across the luscious black atmosphere hinted with little specks of white dust? Imagine a majestic festival painting the sky with all of these things; envision spending the time there yourself with you loving family and trustful friends?
My friend and I both were dressing really cute just in case we saw any sweet guys. On the way to Baton Rouge we were singing our hearts out to High School Musical in the car like nothing was wrong. It was such a great day. We finally got to the mall and I found the cutest outfit! It was this really adorable purple shirt with the nicest white shorts ever! While I was trying it on, my mom called me, but I ignored it. We continued to shop and my mom called me ten more times, and I ignored all of them. I was spending a day with my friend; I didn’t want to be interrupted! We finally left Baton Rouge at five to come home, and I decided I was going to just wait and talk to my mom when I got
It is Thursday, August 24th, the opening day of the Minnesota State Fair. I am here with my family, a friend and his mom, and one of my sister’s friends. It seems so long since last year’s fair. I always look forward to the state fair, even though it’s pretty much the same every year.
I believe that there are events that are meant to happen for us in our lives. But, only if we are willing to put in the work to get the opportunity to put ourselves in the right places at the right time. There are not too many things in life that are worth accomplishing that are not also worth putting in the time and effort it takes to achieve.
My trip to the MoMA was interesting and enlightening, mainly because I’d never been to the museum, so I thoroughly enjoyed the exposure to the art world. Looking at historic and iconic works such as those of Van Gogh and other famous artists was a unique experience that truly opened my eyes to certain aspects of artwork. I found it especially interesting to look at how art through time can share thematic or formal similarities, showcasing how modern artists use the past to influence their work today. Looking at Stephen Shore’s work as well as comparing the modern art with certain classic works was truly an eye-opening experience, which I hope to reflect through the artworks that I chose for each diptych.
I was at home bored as usual when I heard my mommas phone ring. She picked up her phone and answered it. After she got off the phone, she told me to come downstairs. I went down stairs and she asked me if I wanted to go to the fair and I said yes ma’am. Then, she told me to put on some different clothes because I was
