From what I have been through, my current high school experience has not been meeting my expectations. After speaking with friends and parents, I believe that Archbishop Mitty High School can provide the experience that I am seeking. One aspect I am looking for is a larger campus, school community and a safer environment. I feel that the size and location of Archbishop Mitty will help enhance my learning experience. Something else I am looking for in my new high school experience is more school spirit and camaraderie. High School is an incredibly important period of life. It influences your social, academic, and personal life for four years, and prepares you for college and a career. Over my high school years at Waukesha North, I have had a very diverse and fun experience. Being the oldest of four kids that have been raised in Catholic schools, I know how stressful finance is to go to a private school. Over the years, I've realized how grateful I am to be raised in these religious schools. Religion has always had a big impact on my life. The world has more than one billion Catholics and with the ever growing population, it will only get larger in number. To be a Catholic means to have complete faith in God and his divine grace. Having God's divine grace means to obey it and keep it holy as it was created by God and given to his people. The religion itself is based on this and the people take it very seriously. Catholics believe that all people are of good nature but when one commits a sin it not only hurts that one person but the people and the Church.

Yet, the education does not stop at middle school, for high school really puts all the basic skills from elementary and middle school to work as the assignments and the exams become more challenging. We do not only learn about reading, writing, history, and math, we learn about the people around us as we associate with different personalities, and as we see what we have grown up to be and what we want to be later in life. Accordingly, the high school years are a time when teachers emphasize the importance of graduating and attending college in order to have a “succesful future.”
