SMART goals
1) I will not consume any dairy products for 2 weeks
a) 8 – Cutting out dairy is important to me because I shouldn’t be having any dairy, I am lactose intolerant but I’ve always made excuses because I love cheese and ice-cream. The consumption of dairy has negatively affected my life by upsetting my stomach and it is possibly the reason why my skin is breaking out.
b) 7- I am confident that if I find alternatives to ice-cream and cheese, it should not be as hard for me to change my diet, yet still positively change my life.
c) I am motivated to cut dairy out of my diet because I am ready to see a positive change in my health. Usually I get stomach aches if I consume too much cheese or ice-cream, which is unnecessary pain and isn’t good for my health. I’ve also seen …show more content…

I am a firm believer in the idea that if you are attentive to your mental, physical, occupational, social, and emotional health etc. that you will feel fulfilled and truly happy.
b) 5 – I am not super confident that I will feel motivated to go to the gym 4 times a week because I generally prioritize my social and occupational health more than my physical health. This is because my social health directly affects my happiness and my “occupational” health directly affects my future, whereas my physical health doesn’t directly affect me as much.
c) Although it will be a struggle managing my gym time between school, work, and my social life, I am motivated to do so. If I went to the gym 4 times a week I feel like my stress levels would decrease and I would be able to focus better in class, along with getting my body toned.
