While I was in college, I felt like working with children was something that I wanted to do. There are many different career paths one could take if they want to work with children. I love sports, so I decided that recreation would be a path that would allow me to work with children doing something that I love to do. For the past twelve years, I have had the opportunity to work with the residents of Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch. I work in the Youth Activities Department and my job is to provide sports programming for our pre-adolescent population. However, I am in more of an administrative role where I oversee the program the children participate in. The time I actually have working with them one-on-one or in small groups is limited. I have
Please explain what art materials/camp projects you are most interested in? (ex. claymation, stop motion, drawing, painting, fashion, etc.)
I chose this career so that I can make everyone in the world happy. I love to cook, clean, and even give orders occasionally. I want to have my own restaurant and have many of them all around the world. I want to be able to visit these restaurants at least three times a year each. I want to make my uncle happy by succeeding in the business. I want to be like him one day, happy with what I do and very successful. I want to bake a bunch of sweets for children all around for their birthdays and even just every day parties. I want my kids to come from school every day and get a treat for being so good. Mississippi has a very low amount of employees compared to other states such as California. I may go to Texas though because it is bigger than Mississippi and my uncle also lives there.
A normal day includes: laying out all surgical tools to ensure they are in good working order, sharper knives and scalpels when necessary, transfer the body to examination table or refrigeration unit, assist the pathologist during the examination, and identify information on the patient
My life has been impacted immensely through my experience as a lifeguard and swimming instructor for the City of Ottawa. I have had a passion for aquatics ever since I was a young child, and remained committed towards my goal of completing various courses and certifications in order to obtain the lifeguard and swimming instructor position that I hold now. I work approximately thirteen hours a week at this job, on top of the hours I commit to my two other jobs. Aside from my paid employment, I have learned to manage my time effectively in order to participate in numerous extracurricular activities, as well as to maintain strong academic performance. As a swimming instructor, I am expected to prepare weekly and long range lesson plans for the
I have accomplished lots of things in my lifetime. I have accomplished getting a job and getting my license to go to that job. I have accomplished working two jobs one is being a machinist and a referee.
When I was around eight years old, I realized that my goals in life were very different from those of the people around me. Drawing, building, and getting my hands dirty with the work that I saw needed to be done around me were things I liked to do. My friends wanted to grow up to be actresses, chefs, astronauts, and one even wanted to be president; however, I was never like that. My younger self knew that when she grew up, she would want to do something that she loved, not something that everyone else wanted her to love.
My entire life I have always worked my hardest to get to where I am today. As a child, I had the dream of being a nurse or a detective, and I as I started getting older I became aware that the two job areas are very different and competitive. I believe my determination has been a key quality that has let me enrich my education and move forward with the health and criminal justice fields. I have been able to succeed in classes, as well as my employment opportunities because when I set my mind to something, there is nothing stopping me, and I am 100% determined to finish. Being hard working has also been something I’ve done throughout my life, I was always been told that things don’t just happen and that I have to make things happen. The ability

I did not choose student option just for a few credits, I choose it for a new learning perspective. I want to experience how guidance counselors handle the paperwork and how a job in the counseling industry would work. I was always curious about how a counseling job would work. For example, everyday I see school advisors just talk to students and help them through tough issues and also minor school issues like scheduling and the students never get to see how the counselors get it put into Genesis. That really interest me because I love to learn why certain things go the way they go and how would they even get there. I want to learn and understand what a school counselor would have to go through daily.
My career choices have bounced from veterinary school to becoming a teacher and possibly stopping at film and drama. Thanks to countless years of binge-watching anything from comedies, action and horror, I’ve become fascinated and infatuated with the idea of film-making and acting and what goes into the process. From scriptwriting to filming on set and final product of a full-length movie, I love it all. Though the process is long and tedious to be successful, it still has my attention and possibly has me pursuing a career in filming. I grew up in a family of hard-working and dedicated people. Strictly because somebody discourages doesn’t mean you can’t get back up and keep trying. I was also told that if I my nose to the grindstone I will be rewarded for my work, no matter how insignificant it may be.
As a child of Eritrean immigrant parents, I felt I was forced to choose from the four career choices that most non-American parents want their kids to fulfill; doctor, nurse, lawyer, or international businessman. At the age of five I was playing with stethoscopes and blood pressure cuffs, not dolls and building blocks. When I started the third grade at Campbell Hill Elementary, I fell in love with volunteering in the special needs classes during my recess. Instead of playing with my friends outside, I would run to room 210 and help the teachers prepare games for the kids that would benefit their learning style, or slowly walk hand in hand with Rebecca, back and forth from hall to hall to help her become familiar with the school since she was blind. I chose to do this three times a week until I left for middle school. With the teachers encouraging me to continue with what I was helping them do, the decision was easy for me, I did not want to be a doctor, nurse, lawyer or international businessman, I wanted to be the best pediatric
The start of this project began in early October, and for the most part it was a relatively simple course of action to be prepared, coordinated, and reported for the majority of the school year. Its themes and priorities were simple in theory, however—volunteer, research post-graduation opportunities and ideas, and for the most part settle with a plan on how to address adulthood and future prospective careers and education. My choices led me to volunteer for the necessary twenty hours and my own curiosity has allowed for me to navigate the internet and other sources for ideas on careers, education, and even the possible jobs that I could acquire when moving from Pennsylvania after my graduation. There were many things to learn, but many things
I always wanted to be a professional skateboarder. But the truth is, like any professional sport not everyone makes it, and I don't think I'm going to make it. So therefore I have to focus on my future by getting a good job. That doesn't mean I'm giving up on my dream though. In order to do that I need to go to school further. I don't want to work long hours for little pay when I have the opportunity to go to school and get a better career. That is why I have to continue my education and I am willing to do what it takes.
As a pre-teen I would wonder what type of career, I would have. When I was younger I, would always assume what I would want to be when I'm older. Some of my “dream goals” would include being a teacher, firefighter, social worker, and a mental therapist. As I was growing up I, wanted to have one specific goal, to be a banker. That goal drifted away after I decided that banking wasn’t something I wanted to do. Then over the summer of two-thousand fifteen I got an idea what I wanted to be. I finally told myself I could be successful in this specific thing.
