I am at my best when I believe in myself. I will try to prevent times when I don't think I am capable of doing something. I will enjoy my work by finding employment where I can help make others days better. I will find enjoyment in my personal life through spending time with family and friends. I will find opportunities to use my strengths of responsibility, strategic, input, relator, and belief. I can do anything I set my mind to. I will do my best to make the world a better place. My life's journey is to make an impact on others’ lives. I will be a person who appreciates all that I have and never take anything for granted. • Believe in myself and my dreams • Help others • Use my strengths Life, it is so short and it is not to be taken for granted. Some people waste away their lives and don’t attribute anything to themselves or others. I myself do not take one day for granted, I live every day like it could be my last. When living every day like it could be my last, I appreciate everything in my life especially my friends, family, and my education. In my life I want …show more content…
The reason why I want to become a nurse is because growing up I always knew that I wanted to be a nurse because I am very caring, kind, and giving. While I was in middle school my mom went back to nursing school, and seeing my mom become a nurse strongly influenced me. In high school I decided to get my C.N.A., once I started working as a Certified Nursing Assistant I knew I was in the right field. Every day that I work I came home and I always feel rewarded because I know I helped others. When I achieve my dream of graduating with my nursing degree I plan to become and oncology nurse because I lost a grandma to cancer. In order to achieve my dreams, I need to believe in myself and my dreams. In World View Seminar I we spent a lot of time talking about our goals in life and how we plan to achieve
I believe that we can achieve what we have envisioned in our lives as we consistently not only believe it but confidently work hard toward that belief. Such is my principle and conviction
My lifetime goal is to become a Registered Nurse since I was 18 years old, but, unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to go college, but to go to a technical school and get a medical assistant degree. Since then, I worked in many different doctors’ office in Florida as a Medical Assistant until 2 years ago when I met my husband and moved to Maryland. Luckily, with my husband's support, I have been having the opportunity to go back to school and continue my education.
The nursing field gives a person the opportunity to work with and care for elderly, sick, and injured patients. I want to join the registered nurse team because they take on multiple medical settings. Registered nurses are known as RNs. They are responsible for multiple things. Being a RN has a lot of responsibility. The topics I will be covering are: job description, specialties, trends, salary, benefits, and required trainings. These are essential things that a person needs to know before going into nursing school.
Since I can remember I have always had a compassion and natural desire to care for my fellow man. Now having this opportunity, I remain committed to this task. During my nursing career as a Registered Nurse, I allow myself time to grow clinically and to expose myself to a variety of health care emergency situations which continues to be very valuable to me in strengthening my career. It is very fortunate that I have the opportunity to be in a position to where I am today.
Registered Nurse A career as a registered nurse is to, “Save one life, you’re a hero. Save 100 life’s you’re a nurse.” which is rewarding and demanding. Nurses often work hours, with day and long night weekend hours, but the demand for nurses is growing, and many nurses express high job satisfaction.
I will be good to others. I am part of a whole. My life has always depended on the actions of others and I have been blessed by their decisions to be good to me. No action I take affects only me. My actions move the whole towards a good outcome. I am part of God’s creation. I am part of a Christian body. I am part of a family. I am part of a society. I am part of business. My actions have to be constructive towards the will of God.
I will stop standing in the way of my own success, and restrain myself from holding back my full potential. I will stop myself from being a victim of circumstances and situations, and overcome all the obstacles I face. I will be optimistic, passionate and motivated about every single thing I do, no matter how small it is. You only win and accomplish things if you set your mind to do so, and you fail if you walk in with the attitude of a loser.
According to Henry David Thoreau, “One is not born into the world to do everything, but to do something.” What is your something? I strongly believe that everyone has a task on this earth and is created to fulfill that task. I feel that my task is to help and care for children. I enjoy helping and taking care of children, and my dream is and has always been to become a nurse not just any nurse a pediatric nurse.
Your choices will affect you throughout your life, whether it is a big or small decision. For example, it could be something simple like eating fast food for the third time this week or it could be important like going to an interview for a new job position. When you are young, you change your mind every chance you get. This might be why deciding what job you want for the rest of your life is difficult. Currently, 1. I want to be a RN, which is a registered nurse. Registered nurses do a lot to help their community and the people in it. With this job, I would be able to give back to the community by helping people. This makes me feel like I would be a better person.
Many kids grow up wanting to be doctors, lawyers, or astronauts. I was one of those many who wanted to be a doctor and save lives every time I walked into the hospital. Having this mindset throughout my childhood, and even a semester in college, I soon learned in college that maybe the traditional MD doctor route was not for me. The realization that I would have to stay in school for close to, or more than, 8 consecutive years before I could make money, provide for myself, or help others, medically, worried me. I was never truly thinking about my future until college and that is why I was worried, I had no clue if I could even make it 8+ years, financially or mentally. So, my thoughts quickly transitioned to nursing because I would be able to get out of school with a BSN and start working. Then, I can
I am always expecting good things to happen. I am strong and determined. I am always trying to help the society we live in, because I want the upcoming generation to have a better and stable
I would like to believe that each individual reflects upon how they can become a better person the next day. In reality, I understand that not everyone thinks this way. And even those who do will not think like this every day. When examining one’s life decisions, it is important to reflect upon where one has come from and where one aims to go. In my own personal life, I aim to become a clinical social worker to aid in the relief of those who have suffered. More specifically, I would like to work in urgent care, hospitals, and hospice in order to help those with physical conditions understand the ramifications of their decisions and have as much peace among the chaos in their lives as possible.
I was always undecided regarding the career that I wanted to pursue. As I got older and looked at many choices in careers I realized that I wanted to have a career in the medical field. Being a nurse interests me because it requires the study of the human body along with other great opportunities that nurses have in this career. I want to become a nurse because I like being able to help those who are in need.
I am driven to improve my life and the lives of others. I will achieve this through knowledge, hard work, empathy, self evaluation and pride in what I do. I will achieve this by:
I therefore strive to make the most of every day and to live life to the fullest. I try my best to never waste time on the unimportant things and try and channel my energy and time into focusing on the things that do matter which is my family, friends and my
