Greeting Everyone! Growing up as a teen having an interest in assisting children with special needs was very rewarding to me. I attended Kaplan University and graduated with a four year Bachelor of Science in Education. I enjoy school simply because I enjoy the opportunity of simply adding things to my personal identification toolbox. I found college to be challenging because of current workloads, and trying to balance everyday family life. I am a 9th grade teacher at Callaway High School located in Jackson, Mississippi. I enjoy teaching young people because I find it fulfilling to help them realize their unlimited potential. The look upon a Childs face when they have conquered a lesson or a test is priceless. I plan to use my
I will be visiting Raleigh in late August; a few potential matches may still be interested in correspondence.
The field of education sparks my interest and it is the field I would love to be working in, in the near future. The role of a teacher is a very important one and is one that is not suited for everyone. A teacher needs to respect students, create a sense of community and belonging in the classroom, be warm, accessible, enthusiastic, and caring. These are all qualities I hope to be acquiring with my experiences working with young children. Being in the school of education and human services here at PCTI has been a wonderful learning experience throughout the years.
I am a 5th grade teacher at Mill Creek. I teach math, science, social studies, reading, and writing!
In 1882, Susan Glaspell was born in Davenport, Iowa. She graduated from Drake University in 1899 and later worked as a reporter, then a freelance writer, composing several pieces (Kirsner and Mandell 1124). Later Glaspell and her husband, Cram Cook, founded the Provincetown Players for which Glaspell wrote plays (1124). Many of her works conveyed the problems early-twentieth-century women encountered in society. She wrote the play Trifles based on a murder trial she covered as a courthouse reporter (1124). “Glaspell later rewrote Trifles as a short story called ‘A Jury of Her Peer’” (1125). This piece introduces sisterhood between characters and retaliates against the superiority of the male. In “A Jury of Her Peers,” Glaspell uses setting, symbols, and irony to support the theme of gender roles.
I enjoyed school the whole way through. Senior year I moved to the bay area with my dad, and attended San leandro High where I worked as a kindergarten teacher's assistant as well as walked to two jobs as a CSR at Marshalls and a Sales specialist at Mikasa. My mom passed away of cancer at age 42, when I was 20, and I dedicated some time to my siblings. Two years later I started/ continued on my personal pursuits again as a student, mother and employee. I volunteered at the American River College Child Care facility, and did my training with head start before deciding to take a position developing under privileged preschools for almost five years. And being My daughter's preschool teacher for all of her preschool years. I finished my ECE and AA degrees, and pursued my goals further choosing, applying and attending Union Institute and University since March, Winter session 2

I, Moin Ahmed and my spouse Ismat Ara, continuing our married life since August 22, 2014. I have been working in a prestigious university, as a Lecture since April 8, 2012, and getting a lump sum salary. My organization already provided me No Objection Certificate which is attached with this application and there it is mentioned that, my institution will have no objection if I go abroad to reunite with my spouse, and I will get leave of absence and will be able to join in the same organization after coming back in my country. This NOC is giving me the opportunity to apply for this visa and accompany my wife in her hard times when she is struggling to cope up with a new culture and new environment.
I am an English and Math tutor on Bay Farm Island, where I teach children from the main Island and even Oakland. I found I had a love for teaching when I began helping my siblings with their homework in middle school. It was simple homework back then, so I did not think much of it, but it slowly developed into a passion. I was always good at working with kids, but I just thought that meant I would be a good mom one day! When I started working at my tutoring center, I even told my employer that I wanted to work with the younger kids, simply because it was my comfort zone. She placed me with the older students however, and although I was nervous about it, I ended up loving it! I am an avid believer in the power of education, and I see it everyday when I work with my middle schoolers. One of my students, came in shy and reserved socially. Her grades were below average, but she had determination within her. She came in willing to learn, and after teaching her for just two months, she flourished. She is now a cheerleader at her school, with amazing grades on her tests, and continually gets positive feedback from all her teachers. She is only in the 5th grade, but I know that I have impacted her life for the better. The education we gave her, made her have the confidence to put herself out there and do well in class. It is children like her, that influenced me to
I was born in China, and my mom and dad are American," Amy explained. In 2001, one out of every four internationally adopted children in the United States was born in China, the leading country for foreign adoptions. It's a far cry from a decade earlier, when China allowed just 61 adoptions to the United States. An adoption law in 1992 opened up the country, however -- a natural outgrowth of China's population-control policy that resulted in more children being born than the Chinese government allowed families to keep.
I loved going to school as a child and have always felt very passionate about education. Math has always been a talent of mine and I have excelled in AP Calculus my junior year. Fifth grade, especially, left an imprint on my heart-- it was a year of growth and opportunity. Aside from education, I feel as though I could make a difference in children's lives at such an important stage in life. Moreover, I would want nothing more than to make an impact on children's lives right in my community.
My interest in special education came about when I got a job at a private preschool for children with autism. It’s the most rewarding job seeing those little ones smile when they mastered a new school. It is also rewarding knowing that you are changing that child’s life. Although, I have seconded guessed my degree multiple time I have always came back to education, but went with a broader field in psychology to expand my availability to careers. I always enjoyed kids and from a little girl I had a skill to teach my peers and for them to learn.
I have taught students ranging from five years old to nineteen years of age. Hence, being an educator, I have learned that learning is always shifting, therefore I must keep improving with the incessant changes. As a little girl, I have always dreamt of being a teacher and I have carried out that dream. My career journey started as a substitute teacher, a floater between classrooms, an assistant teacher, a teacher, a center supervisor, and an educational supervisor. I presently work as an Educational consultant for Danya International LLC. As an Educational Consultant, I able to review and aid with the learning environment of teachers and educational management in a school
Knowledge is a very powerful thing, and to be able to deliver this to today’s youth has been a dream of mine for a long time. There are many advantages to teaching. I feel that is a very fulfilling profession. I have seen my sister in the classroom, and it greatly inspired me to want to make a difference in some ones life. Through watching my sister in action I was inspired to follow in her footsteps.
Working with children and supporting their learning is my passion. I have always been inspired by the opportunity teaching offers each child to reach their full potential; which understandably plays a crucial part in children achieving lifelong learning.
Teaching is not just a job that I perform because I expect a reward at the end of each month; it is my passion and I feel extremely satisfied with every successful lesson. I like to help the society, and teaching gives me a great opportunity to do so. I am passionate about educating my students, so I work with them and motivate them to lead them to find inspiration in learning. I use different strategies to engage them and share with them the knowledge.
