There is a certain criteria which a college must meet in order for me to feel that a truly beneficial education can be gained from it, and with the costs that go into college it is highly important that this criteria be met. My first choice school would have definitely met my personal requirements, but in the event that admission to this college was not granted to me my previously used checklist would be applied to my three options in order to determine the best school for me.
Why organization skill is necessary for the Manager? Organizational skills allow the managers to determine the supplies they need, how to manage and arrange the files. Organization skills can help you to plan and organise your time so that you can meet the deadlines of a project. The Honors College at Lone Star presents itself as an immense opportunity for me to truly exhibit the potential which I strive to exude. It provides not only convenience to my family and I, but reassurance that I can receive an honorary level of education just a few miles from home. As I traverse through high school, I always hold a subconscious idea of the future I wish to lead and the effort which it demands, but I never became discouraged by the years of education which I must accomplish. In fact, this factor only accelerates my ambition to excel in what several appear to be abandoning as of late: medicine.
One of my academic goals is to get the best education possible at Allan Hancock College before I transfer. I will accomplish this by always paying attention to all my teachers and do all my work and most importantly make school my number one priority. Another academic goal that I have is to transfer to Cal Poly or Long Beach and obtain my Master’s degree in education. I also want to graduate with honor and with a 3.5 GPA or above. I decided that I wanted to be a teacher because I like helping people out and also I enjoy working with kids. I selected these goals because my economic background is not the great, most of the money that my family makes goes to the rent and daily expenses. We live in a small apartment and we are a family of five; we don’t usually go out and eat at restaurants only in special occasions.
What's mine is yours. Having lived a year in a student hostel I understood this phrase was the best to describe my first year student life. We shared everything: all of bright spots, all of difficult moments, all of the books and all of the cakes. My roommates are my best friends now and I trust them as I would myself. I believe amazing adventures and close friendship are waiting for us too! Also I believe, my dear roommate, you’ll get at least one new hobby living with me. I promise I’ll share to you with my frenzy for mountains. Oh, that’s really amazing! I’m a participant of the university tourist all around team(sports tourism university team member) and every weekend we get to go to incredibly picturesque places of Zailiyskiy Alatau.
Victimology is the study of victims, and the role victim plays in a criminal act. It encompasses the concept of victim facilitation, victim precipitation, and victim provocation. The concepts are used to avert blame on the victim and to understand the interaction between victims and offenders(McEvoy and Kirsten, p.534). Moreover, victimology also focuses on the connections between victims and other social groups such as medias and other institutions.
