Throughout my time spent in Mrs. Townsend’s Composition I class, I learned how to be productive more than I ever have before. I knew that signing up for this class would be a challenge for me; however, I decided to stick with the decision to stay enrolled. While trying to balance time with friends, work, and homework, I found out that the ability to stay on top of things is extremely important.

I want to be apart of the Writing Success Program, specifically as a writing and creativity peer counselor, because it is a resource that cultivates student retention through the process of equally prioritizing a student’s confidence and prosperity to that of that student’s academic wellbeing.

I am not a professional writer, but I am a writer with sufficient imagination and positive attitudes. Through last two-semester-writing training, I understand the basic requirements of academic writing, such as the format, the citation and so forth. However, there is still an extensive space for me to improve my skills in both reading and writing. As a reader, I enjoy appreciating masterpieces and I am good at thinking through reading, but sometimes either cultural shock or linguistic barriers limit my reading speed and reduce my interests.

What motivated me to apply again for staff was the urge to help players again, I missed every minute of being a staff member and I hate myself for resigning. When I resigned I thought it was a good decision at the time, now I realized that it was a mistake and I should've never done it. I feel that now I have time to put myself fully back into Mineplex I can help players again like I used to. So many people have asked me day in and day out, Why did you resign?" Affirmations for success are a very powerful force that can change the way that your life is going right now. The most obvious example of this is to view yourself as being successful: if you see yourself as successful, than you will be. It sounds fairly easy, right? Well, it really is that easy. In order to get affirmations for success to work for you, there are 3 simple steps to follow.

I believe in change for the better. I believe it’s alright to make choices that could affect you in the long term and I believe in big dreams. You are not selfish for making these choices because no one should dictate your life and when I say no one not even your family should.

I am interested in teaching at Breakthrough because I personally value education and feel as though education is the cornerstone for the future of the youth. However, not every youth gets the same quality or even opportunity for education, which is why I also view education as a privilege. I want to take part in a leadership opportunity that will allow me to express my passion for education and treat the concept of education as a privilege that should not be taken for granted. I see myself as a life-long learner and want others to view learning in a similar manner.

On a personal level I would like to get better at basketball as well as baseball. In three years i see myself being a little bit more involved in technology and graphic design. Sooner or later like every kid I will turn 18 wich mean time for a job i'm going to go into it strong I think i am going to work at Old Navy. I hopefully will be able to stay in this job as long as possible to make as much money as I can. These goals are important to me because it will make me feel good as a person. It is a good start as a teen to make money. School has prepared me because I will pick the right classes to assist me in my career.

Generally speaking, my project outcomes were satisfying. I achieved successes but I also encountered some problems and pitfalls. When I published the first part of my book, I managed to sell four books in one day, just by posting a message to my followers on Twitter (See Appendix J). My fear was that my readers were not going to respond well to the launch of my ebook. But it was an unjustified fear. Indeed, I was surprised and happy to see the number of engagement on Twitter.
